רְצִ֑ין is Rezin . rə·ṣîn וּבְע֗וֹד Within ū·ḇə·‘ō·wḏ שִׁשִּׁ֤ים sixty-five šiš·šîm וְחָמֵשׁ֙ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš שָׁנָ֔ה years šā·nāh אֶפְרַ֖יִם Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim יֵחַ֥ת will be shattered yê·ḥaṯ מֵעָֽם׃ as a people . mê·‘ām Isaiah 7:9 וְרֹ֤אשׁ The head wə·rōš אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim שֹׁמְר֔וֹן is Samaria , šō·mə·rō·wn וְרֹ֥אשׁ and the head wə·rōš שֹׁמְר֖וֹן of Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn בֶּן־ is the son ben- רְמַלְיָ֑הוּ of Remaliah . rə·mal·yā·hū אִ֚ם If ’im לֹ֣א you do not lō תַאֲמִ֔ינוּ stand firm in your faith , ṯa·’ă·mî·nū כִּ֖י then kî לֹ֥א you will not lō תֵאָמֵֽנוּ׃ס stand at all . ’” ṯê·’ā·mê·nū Isaiah 7:10 וַיּ֣וֹסֶף Again way·yō·w·sep̄ יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh דַּבֵּ֥ר spoke dab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- אָחָ֖ז Ahaz , ’ā·ḥāz לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying , lê·mōr Isaiah 7:11 שְׁאַל־ “ Ask šə·’al- לְךָ֣ for lə·ḵā א֔וֹת a sign ’ō·wṯ מֵעִ֖ם from mê·‘im יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ your God , ’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā הַעְמֵ֣ק [whether] from the depths ha‘·mêq שְׁאָ֔לָה of Sheol šə·’ā·lāh א֖וֹ or ’ōw הַגְבֵּ֥הַּ the heights haḡ·bê·ah לְמָֽעְלָה׃ of heaven . ” lə·mā·‘ə·lāh Isaiah 7:12 אָחָ֑ז But Ahaz ’ā·ḥāz וַיֹּ֖אמֶר replied , way·yō·mer לֹא־ “ I will not lō- אֶשְׁאַ֥ל ask ; ’eš·’al וְלֹֽא־ I will not wə·lō- אֲנַסֶּ֖ה test ’ă·nas·seh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . ” Yah·weh Isaiah 7:13 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר Then Isaiah said , way·yō·mer שִׁמְעוּ־ “ Hear šim·‘ū- נָ֖א now , nā בֵּ֣ית O house bêṯ דָּוִ֑ד of David ! dā·wiḏ הַמְעַ֤ט Is it not enough ham·‘aṭ מִכֶּם֙ - mik·kem הַלְא֣וֹת to try the patience hal·’ō·wṯ אֲנָשִׁ֔ים of men ? ’ă·nā·šîm כִּ֥י . . . kî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַלְא֖וּ Will you try the patience ṯal·’ū אֱלֹהָֽי׃ of my God ’ĕ·lō·hāy גַּ֥ם as well ? gam Isaiah 7:14 לָ֠כֵן Therefore lā·ḵên אֲדֹנָ֥י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy ה֛וּא Himself hū יִתֵּ֨ן will give yit·tên לָכֶ֖ם you lā·ḵem א֑וֹת a sign : ’ō·wṯ הִנֵּ֣ה Behold , hin·nêh הָעַלְמָ֗ה the virgin hā·‘al·māh הָרָה֙ will be with child hā·rāh וְיֹלֶ֣דֶת and will give birth wə·yō·le·ḏeṯ בֵּ֔ן to a son , bên וְקָרָ֥את and will call wə·qā·rāṯ שְׁמ֖וֹ Him šə·mōw עִמָּ֥נוּ vvv ‘im·mā·nū אֵֽל׃ Immanuel . ’êl Isaiah 7:15 לְדַעְתּ֛וֹ By the time He knows [enough] lə·ḏa‘·tōw מָא֥וֹס to reject mā·’ō·ws בָּרָ֖ע evil bā·rā‘ וּבָח֥וֹר and choose ū·ḇā·ḥō·wr
