Isaiah 5:29 שְׁאָגָ֥ה Their roaring šə·’ā·ḡāh ל֖וֹ - lōw כַּלָּבִ֑יא is like that of a lion ; kal·lā·ḇî וְשָׁאַג they roar wə·šå̄·ʾaḡ כַּכְּפִירִ֤ים like young lions . kak·kə·p̄î·rîm וְיִנְהֹם֙ They growl wə·yin·hōm וְיֹאחֵ֣ז and seize wə·yō·ḥêz טֶ֔רֶף their prey ; ṭe·rep̄ וְיַפְלִ֖יט they carry it wə·yap̄·lîṭ וְאֵ֥ין away wə·’ên מַצִּֽיל׃ from deliverance . maṣ·ṣîl Isaiah 5:30 הַה֖וּא In that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day bay·yō·wm וְיִנְהֹ֥ם they will roar wə·yin·hōm עָלָ֛יו over it , ‘ā·lāw כְּנַהֲמַת־ like the roaring kə·na·hă·maṯ- יָ֑ם of the sea . yām וְנִבַּ֤ט If one looks wə·nib·baṭ לָאָ֙רֶץ֙ over the land , lā·’ā·reṣ וְהִנֵּה־ he will see wə·hin·nêh- חֹ֔שֶׁךְ darkness ḥō·šeḵ צַ֣ר and distress ; ṣar וָא֔וֹר even the light wā·’ō·wr חָשַׁ֖ךְ will be obscured ḥā·šaḵ בַּעֲרִיפֶֽיהָ׃פ by clouds . ba·‘ă·rî·p̄e·hā Isaiah 6:1 בִּשְׁנַת־ In the year biš·naṯ- הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ that King ham·me·leḵ עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ Uzziah ‘uz·zî·yā·hū מוֹת֙ died , mō·wṯ וָאֶרְאֶ֧ה I saw wā·’er·’eh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲדֹנָ֛י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יֹשֵׁ֥ב seated yō·šêḇ עַל־ on ‘al- כִּסֵּ֖א a throne , kis·sê רָ֣ם high rām וְנִשָּׂ֑א and exalted ; wə·niś·śā וְשׁוּלָ֖יו and the train of His robe wə·šū·lāw מְלֵאִ֥ים filled mə·lê·’îm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַהֵיכָֽל׃ the temple . ha·hê·ḵāl Isaiah 6:2 מִמַּ֙עַל֙ Above mim·ma·‘al ל֔וֹ Him lōw עֹמְדִ֤ים׀ stood ‘ō·mə·ḏîm שְׂרָפִ֨ים seraphim , śə·rā·p̄îm לְאֶחָ֑ד each lə·’e·ḥāḏ שֵׁ֧שׁ having six šêš כְּנָפַ֛יִם wings kə·nā·p̄a·yim שֵׁ֥שׁ šêš כְּנָפַ֖יִם : kə·nā·p̄a·yim בִּשְׁתַּ֣יִם׀ With two [wings] biš·ta·yim יְכַסֶּ֣ה they covered yə·ḵas·seh פָנָ֗יו their faces , p̄ā·nāw וּבִשְׁתַּ֛יִם with two ū·ḇiš·ta·yim יְכַסֶּ֥ה they covered yə·ḵas·seh רַגְלָ֖יו their feet , raḡ·lāw וּבִשְׁתַּ֥יִם and with two ū·ḇiš·ta·yim יְעוֹפֵֽף׃ they were flying . yə·‘ō·w·p̄êp̄ Isaiah 6:3 זֶ֤ה And they zeh וְקָרָ֨א were calling out wə·qā·rā אֶל־ to ’el- זֶה֙ one another zeh וְאָמַ֔ר . . . : wə·’ā·mar קָד֧וֹשׁ׀ “ Holy , qā·ḏō·wōš קָד֛וֹשׁ holy , qā·ḏō·wōš קָד֖וֹשׁ holy qā·ḏō·wōš יְהוָ֣ה is YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts ; ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ כָל־ all ḵāl הָאָ֖רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ מְלֹ֥א is full mə·lō כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃ of His glory . ” kə·ḇō·w·ḏōw Isaiah 6:4 מִקּ֖וֹל At the sound miq·qō·wl הַקּוֹרֵ֑א of their voices haq·qō·w·rê אַמּ֣וֹת the doorposts ’am·mō·wṯ הַסִּפִּ֔ים and thresholds has·sip·pîm וַיָּנֻ֙עוּ֙ shook , way·yā·nu·‘ū וְהַבַּ֖יִת and the temple wə·hab·ba·yiṯ יִמָּלֵ֥א was filled yim·mā·lê עָשָֽׁן׃ with smoke . ‘ā·šān
