הַכָּת֥וּב who are recorded hak·kā·ṯūḇ לַחַיִּ֖ים among the living — la·ḥay·yîm Isaiah 4:4 אִ֣ם׀ when ’im אֲדֹנָ֗י the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ רָחַ֣ץ has washed away rā·ḥaṣ צֹאַ֣ת the filth ṣō·’aṯ בְּנוֹת־ of the daughters bə·nō·wṯ- צִיּ֔וֹן of Zion ṣî·yō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יָדִ֣יחַ and cleansed yā·ḏî·aḥ דְּמֵ֥י the bloodstains də·mê מִקִּרְבָּ֑הּ from the heart miq·qir·bāh יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim בְּר֥וּחַ by a spirit bə·rū·aḥ מִשְׁפָּ֖ט of judgment miš·pāṭ וּבְר֥וּחַ and a spirit ū·ḇə·rū·aḥ בָּעֵֽר׃ of fire . bā·‘êr Isaiah 4:5 יְהוָ֡ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וּבָרָ֣א will create ū·ḇā·rā עַל֩ over ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- מְכ֨וֹן - mə·ḵō·wn הַר־ of Mount har- צִיּ֜וֹן Zion ṣî·yō·wn וְעַל־ and over wə·‘al- מִקְרָאֶ֗הָ her assemblies miq·rā·’e·hā עָנָ֤ן׀ a cloud ‘ā·nān וְעָשָׁ֔ן of smoke wə·‘ā·šān יוֹמָם֙ by day yō·w·mām וְנֹ֛גַהּ and a glowing wə·nō·ḡah לֶהָבָ֖ה flame le·hā·ḇāh אֵ֥שׁ of fire ’êš לָ֑יְלָה by night . lā·yə·lāh כִּ֥י For kî עַל־ over ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- כָּב֖וֹד the glory kā·ḇō·wḏ חֻפָּֽה׃ there will be a canopy , ḥup·pāh Isaiah 4:6 תִּהְיֶ֥ה - tih·yeh וְסֻכָּ֛ה a shelter wə·suk·kāh לְצֵל־ to [give] shade lə·ṣêl- מֵחֹ֑רֶב from the heat mê·ḥō·reḇ יוֹמָ֖ם by day , yō·w·mām וּלְמַחְסֶה֙ and a refuge ū·lə·maḥ·seh וּלְמִסְתּ֔וֹר and hiding place ū·lə·mis·tō·wr מִזֶּ֖רֶם from the storm miz·ze·rem וּמִמָּטָֽר׃פ and the rain . ū·mim·mā·ṭār Isaiah 5:1 אָשִׁ֤ירָה I will sing ’ā·šî·rāh נָּא֙ . . . nā לִֽידִידִ֔י for my beloved lî·ḏî·ḏî שִׁירַ֥ת a song šî·raṯ דּוֹדִ֖י of [his] dō·w·ḏî לְכַרְמ֑וֹ vineyard : lə·ḵar·mōw לִֽידִידִ֖י My beloved lî·ḏî·ḏî הָיָ֥ה had hā·yāh כֶּ֛רֶם a vineyard ke·rem בֶּן־ on a very fertile ben- שָֽׁמֶן׃ . . . šā·men בְּקֶ֥רֶן hill . bə·qe·ren Isaiah 5:2 וַֽיְעַזְּקֵ֣הוּ He dug it up way·‘az·zə·qê·hū וַֽיְסַקְּלֵ֗הוּ and cleared the stones way·saq·qə·lê·hū וַיִּטָּעֵ֙הוּ֙ and planted way·yiṭ·ṭā·‘ê·hū שֹׂרֵ֔ק the finest vines . śō·rêq וַיִּ֤בֶן He built way·yi·ḇen מִגְדָּל֙ a watchtower miḡ·dāl בְּתוֹכ֔וֹ in the middle bə·ṯō·w·ḵōw וְגַם־ and wə·ḡam- חָצֵ֣ב dug out ḥā·ṣêḇ בּ֑וֹ bōw יֶ֖קֶב a winepress {as well} . ye·qeḇ וַיְקַ֛ו He waited for [the vineyard] way·qaw לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to yield la·‘ă·śō·wṯ עֲנָבִ֖ים good grapes , ‘ă·nā·ḇîm וַיַּ֥עַשׂ but the fruit it produced way·ya·‘aś בְּאֻשִֽׁים׃ was sour ! bə·’u·šîm Isaiah 5:3 וְעַתָּ֛ה “ And now , wə·‘at·tāh יוֹשֵׁ֥ב O dwellers yō·wō·šêḇ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim וְאִ֣ישׁ and men wə·’îš יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh נָ֕א I exhort nā
