יָדִ֖י My hand yā·ḏî עַל־ against ‘al- מִצְרָ֑יִם Egypt miṣ·rā·yim וְהוֹצֵאתִ֥י and bring wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּנֵֽי־ the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl מִתּוֹכָֽם׃ out from among them . ” mit·tō·w·ḵām Exodus 7:6 מֹשֶׁ֖ה So Moses mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹ֑ן and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn וַיַּ֥עַשׂ did way·ya·‘aś כֵּ֥ן kên עָשֽׂוּ׃ ‘ā·śū כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֹתָ֖ם - ’ō·ṯām צִוָּ֧ה had commanded them . ṣiw·wāh Exodus 7:7 וּמֹשֶׁה֙ Moses ū·mō·šeh שְׁמֹנִ֣ים was eighty šə·mō·nîm בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֔ה . . . šā·nāh וְאַֽהֲרֹ֔ן and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn בֶּן־ . . . ben- שָׁלֹ֥שׁ was eighty-three šā·lōš וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים . . . ū·šə·mō·nîm שָׁנָ֑ה . . . šā·nāh בְּדַבְּרָ֖ם when they spoke bə·ḏab·bə·rām אֶל־ to ’el- פַּרְעֹֽה׃פ Pharaoh . par·‘ōh Exodus 7:8 יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֥ה Moses mō·šeh וְאֶֽל־ . . . wə·’el- אַהֲרֹ֖ן and Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn לֵאמֹֽר׃ . . . lê·mōr Exodus 7:9 כִּי֩ “ When kî פַּרְעֹה֙ Pharaoh par·‘ōh יְדַבֵּ֨ר tells you , yə·ḏab·bêr אֲלֵכֶ֤ם . . . ’ă·lê·ḵem לֵאמֹ֔ר lê·mōr תְּנ֥וּ ‘ Perform tə·nū לָכֶ֖ם lā·ḵem מוֹפֵ֑ת a miracle , ’ mō·w·p̄êṯ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ you are to say wə·’ā·mar·tā אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- אַהֲרֹ֗ן to Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn קַ֧ח ‘ Take qaḥ אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- מַטְּךָ֛ your staff maṭ·ṭə·ḵā וְהַשְׁלֵ֥ךְ and throw it down wə·haš·lêḵ לִפְנֵֽי־ before lip̄·nê- פַרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh , ’ p̄ar·‘ōh יְהִ֥י [and] it {will} become yə·hî לְתַנִּֽין׃ a serpent . ” lə·ṯan·nîn Exodus 7:10 מֹשֶׁ֤ה So Moses mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹן֙ and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn וַיָּבֹ֨א went way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- פַּרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh וַיַּ֣עַשׂוּ and did way·ya·ʿa·śū כֵ֔ן . . . ḵên כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֣ה had commanded . ṣiw·wāh אַהֲרֹ֜ן Aaron ’a·hă·rōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּשְׁלֵ֨ךְ threw way·yaš·lêḵ מַטֵּ֗הוּ his staff {down} maṭ·ṭê·hū לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê פַרְעֹ֛ה Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh וְלִפְנֵ֥י . . . wə·lip̄·nê עֲבָדָ֖יו and his officials , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיְהִ֥י and it became way·hî לְתַנִּֽין׃ a serpent . lə·ṯan·nîn Exodus 7:11 פַּרְעֹ֔ה But Pharaoh par·‘ōh גַּם־ gam- וַיִּקְרָא֙ called way·yiq·rā לַֽחֲכָמִ֖ים the wise men la·ḥă·ḵā·mîm וְלַֽמְכַשְּׁפִ֑ים and sorcerers wə·lam·ḵaš·šə·p̄îm חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י and magicians ḥar·ṭum·mê מִצְרַ֛יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim
