אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî דֹּבֵ֥ר say dō·ḇêr אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ to you . ” ’ê·le·ḵā Exodus 6:30 יְהוָ֑ה But in YHWH’s Yah·weh לִפְנֵ֣י presence lip̄·nê מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh וַיֹּ֥אמֶר replied , way·yō·mer הֵ֤ן “ Since hên אֲנִי֙ I ’ă·nî עֲרַ֣ל am unskilled ‘ă·ral שְׂפָתַ֔יִם in speech , śə·p̄ā·ṯa·yim וְאֵ֕יךְ why wə·’êḵ פַּרְעֹֽה׃פ would Pharaoh par·‘ōh יִשְׁמַ֥ע listen yiš·ma‘ אֵלַ֖י to me ? ” ’ê·lay Exodus 7:1 יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַיֹּ֤אמֶר answered way·yō·mer מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses , mō·šeh רְאֵ֛ה “ See , rə·’êh נְתַתִּ֥יךָ I have made nə·ṯat·tî·ḵā אֱלֹהִ֖ים you like God ’ĕ·lō·hîm לְפַרְעֹ֑ה to Pharaoh , lə·p̄ar·‘ōh אָחִ֖יךָ and your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā וְאַהֲרֹ֥ן Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn יִהְיֶ֥ה will be yih·yeh נְבִיאֶֽךָ׃ your prophet . nə·ḇî·’e·ḵā Exodus 7:2 אַתָּ֣ה You ’at·tāh תְדַבֵּ֔ר are to speak ṯə·ḏab·bêr אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ I command you , ’ă·ṣaw·we·kā אָחִ֙יךָ֙ and your brother ’ā·ḥî·ḵā וְאַהֲרֹ֤ן Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn יְדַבֵּ֣ר is to tell yə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ - ’el- פַּרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh בְּנֵֽי־ to let the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וְשִׁלַּ֥ח go wə·šil·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ out of his land . mê·’ar·ṣōw Exodus 7:3 וַאֲנִ֥י But I wa·’ă·nî אַקְשֶׁ֖ה will harden ’aq·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פַּרְעֹ֑ה Pharaoh’s par·‘ōh לֵ֣ב heart , lêḇ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֧י and though I will multiply wə·hir·bê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֹתֹתַ֛י My signs ’ō·ṯō·ṯay וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- מוֹפְתַ֖י and wonders mō·wp̄·ṯay בְּאֶ֥רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 7:4 פַּרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh וְלֹֽא־ will not wə·lō- יִשְׁמַ֤ע listen yiš·ma‘ אֲלֵכֶם֙ to you . ’ă·lê·ḵem וְנָתַתִּ֥י Then I will lay wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָדִ֖י My hand yā·ḏî בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם on Egypt , bə·miṣ·rā·yim גְּדֹלִֽים׃ and by mighty gə·ḏō·lîm בִּשְׁפָטִ֖ים acts of judgment biš·p̄ā·ṭîm וְהוֹצֵאתִ֨י I will bring wə·hō·w·ṣê·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִבְאֹתַ֜י the divisions ṣiḇ·’ō·ṯay אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַמִּ֤י of My people ‘am·mî בְנֵֽי־ the Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . yiś·rā·’êl מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt . miṣ·ra·yim Exodus 7:5 מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ And the Egyptians miṣ·ra·yim וְיָדְע֤וּ will know wə·yā·ḏə·‘ū כִּֽי־ that kî- אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יְהוָ֔ה am YHWH , Yah·weh בִּנְטֹתִ֥י when I stretch out bin·ṭō·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
