Genesis 7:7 נֹ֗חַ And Noah nō·aḥ וְאִשְׁתּ֧וֹ and his wife , wə·’iš·tōw אִתּ֖וֹ with ’it·tōw וּ֠בָנָיו his sons ū·ḇā·nāw בָנָ֛יו and [their] ḇā·nāw וּנְשֵֽׁי־ wives , ū·nə·šê- וַיָּ֣בֹא entered way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַתֵּבָ֑ה the ark hat·tê·ḇāh מִפְּנֵ֖י to escape mip·pə·nê מֵ֥י the waters mê הַמַּבּֽוּל׃ of the flood . ham·mab·būl Genesis 7:8 מִן־ [The] min- הַטְּהוֹרָ֔ה clean haṭ·ṭə·hō·w·rāh הַבְּהֵמָה֙ . . . hab·bə·hê·māh וּמִן־ and ū·min- וּמִ֨ן־ - ū·min- אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer אֵינֶ֖נָּה vvv ’ê·nen·nāh טְהֹרָ֑ה unclean ṭə·hō·rāh הַ֨בְּהֵמָ֔ה animals , hab·bə·hê·māh הָע֔וֹף the birds , hā·‘ō·wp̄ וְכֹ֥ל and everything wə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- רֹמֵ֖שׂ crawls rō·mêś עַל־ along ‘al- הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃ the ground hā·’ă·ḏā·māh Genesis 7:9 בָּ֧אוּ came bā·’ū אֶל־ to ’el- נֹ֛חַ Noah nō·aḥ אֶל־ to enter ’el- הַתֵּבָ֖ה the ark , hat·tê·ḇāh שְׁנַ֨יִם two šə·na·yim שְׁנַ֜יִם by two , šə·na·yim זָכָ֣ר male zā·ḵār וּנְקֵבָ֑ה and female , ū·nə·qê·ḇāh כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh נֹֽחַ׃ Noah . nō·aḥ Genesis 7:10 וַֽיְהִ֖י And after way·hî לְשִׁבְעַ֣ת seven lə·šiḇ·‘aṯ הַיָּמִ֑ים days hay·yā·mîm וּמֵ֣י the floodwaters ū·mê הַמַּבּ֔וּל . . . ham·mab·būl הָי֖וּ came hā·yū עַל־ upon ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 7:11 בִּשְׁנַ֨ת In biš·naṯ שֵׁשׁ־ the six šêš- מֵא֤וֹת hundredth mê·’ō·wṯ שָׁנָה֙ year šā·nāh נֹ֔חַ of Noah’s nō·aḥ לְחַיֵּי־ life , lə·ḥay·yê- בְּשִׁבְעָֽה־ on the seventeenth bə·šiḇ·‘āh- עָשָׂ֥ר - ‘ā·śār י֖וֹם day yō·wm לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ - la·ḥō·ḏeš הַשֵּׁנִ֔י of the second haš·šê·nî בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ month , ba·ḥō·ḏeš הַזֶּ֗ה - haz·zeh בַּיּ֣וֹם - bay·yō·wm כָּֽל־ all kāl- מַעְיְנֹת֙ the fountains ma‘·yə·nōṯ רַבָּ֔ה of the great rab·bāh תְּה֣וֹם deep tə·hō·wm נִבְקְעוּ֙ burst forth , niḇ·qə·‘ū וַאֲרֻבֹּ֥ת and the floodgates wa·’ă·rub·bōṯ הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם of the heavens haš·šā·ma·yim נִפְתָּֽחוּ׃ were opened . nip̄·tā·ḥū Genesis 7:12 הַגֶּ֖שֶׁם And the rain hag·ge·šem וַֽיְהִ֥י fell way·hî עַל־ upon ‘al- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים for forty ’ar·bā·‘îm י֔וֹם days yō·wm וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים and forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm לָֽיְלָה׃ nights . lā·yə·lāh
