Genesis 7:1 יְהוָה֙ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer לְנֹ֔חַ to Noah , lə·nō·aḥ בֹּֽא־ “ Go bō- אֶל־ into ’el- הַתֵּבָ֑ה the ark , hat·tê·ḇāh אַתָּ֥ה you ’at·tāh וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl בֵּיתְךָ֖ your family , bê·ṯə·ḵā כִּֽי־ because kî- רָאִ֛יתִי I have found rā·’î·ṯî אֹתְךָ֥ you ’ō·ṯə·ḵā צַדִּ֥יק righteous ṣad·dîq לְפָנַ֖י - lə·p̄ā·nay הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בַּדּ֥וֹר generation . bad·dō·wr Genesis 7:2 לְךָ֛ You lə·ḵā תִּֽקַּח־ {are to} take with you tiq·qaḥ- שִׁבְעָ֥ה seven pairs of šiḇ·‘āh שִׁבְעָ֖ה . . . šiḇ·‘āh מִכֹּ֣ל׀ every kind of mik·kōl הַטְּהוֹרָ֗ה clean haṭ·ṭə·hō·w·rāh הַבְּהֵמָ֣ה animal , hab·bə·hê·māh אִ֣ישׁ a male ’îš וְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ and its mate ; wə·’iš·tōw הִ֛וא - hî שְׁנַ֖יִם a pair šə·na·yim וּמִן־ of ū·min- אֲ֠שֶׁר [every kind of] ’ă·šer לֹ֣א vvv lō טְהֹרָ֥ה unclean ṭə·hō·rāh הַבְּהֵמָ֡ה animal , hab·bə·hê·māh אִ֥ישׁ a male ’îš וְאִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ and its mate ; wə·’iš·tōw Genesis 7:3 גַּ֣ם and gam שִׁבְעָ֖ה seven [pairs] šiḇ·‘āh מֵע֧וֹף of [every kind of] bird mê·‘ō·wp̄ הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם of the air , haš·šā·ma·yim שִׁבְעָ֥ה - šiḇ·‘āh זָכָ֣ר male zā·ḵār וּנְקֵבָ֑ה and female , ū·nə·qê·ḇāh לְחַיּ֥וֹת to preserve lə·ḥay·yō·wṯ זֶ֖רַע their offspring ze·ra‘ עַל־ on ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י the face pə·nê כָל־ of all ḵāl הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 7:4 כִּי֩ For kî שִׁבְעָ֗ה seven šiḇ·‘āh לְיָמִ֨ים days lə·yā·mîm ע֜וֹד from now ‘ō·wḏ אָֽנֹכִי֙ I ’ā·nō·ḵî מַמְטִ֣יר will send rain mam·ṭîr עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים for forty ’ar·bā·‘îm י֔וֹם days yō·wm וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים and forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm לָ֑יְלָה nights , lā·yə·lāh וּמָחִ֗יתִי and I will wipe ū·mā·ḥî·ṯî אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- מֵעַ֖ל from mê·‘al פְּנֵ֥י the face pə·nê הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃ of the earth hā·’ă·ḏā·māh כָּל־ every kāl- הַיְקוּם֙ living thing hay·qūm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֔יתִי I have made . ” ‘ā·śî·ṯî Genesis 7:5 נֹ֑חַ And Noah nō·aḥ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ did way·ya·‘aś כְּכֹ֥ל all kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH Yah·weh צִוָּ֖הוּ had commanded him . ṣiw·wā·hū Genesis 7:6 וְנֹ֕חַ Now Noah wə·nō·aḥ שֵׁ֥שׁ was 600 šêš מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ שָׁנָ֑ה years šā·nāh בֶּן־ old ben- וְהַמַּבּ֣וּל when the floodwaters wə·ham·mab·būl מַ֖יִם . . . ma·yim הָיָ֔ה came hā·yāh עַל־ upon ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ
