וַתִּשָּׁחֵ֥ת was corrupt wat·tiš·šā·ḥêṯ לִפְנֵ֣י in the sight lip̄·nê הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm הָאָ֖רֶץ [and] hā·’ā·reṣ וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א full wat·tim·mā·lê חָמָֽס׃ of violence . ḥā·mās Genesis 6:12 אֱלֹהִ֛ים And God ’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּ֧רְא looked way·yar הָאָ֖רֶץ upon the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְהִנֵּ֣ה and saw that wə·hin·nêh נִשְׁחָ֑תָה it was corrupt ; niš·ḥā·ṯāh כִּֽי־ for kî- כָּל־ all kāl- בָּשָׂ֛ר living creatures bā·śār אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ס the earth hā·’ā·reṣ הִשְׁחִ֧ית had corrupted hiš·ḥîṯ דַּרְכּ֖וֹ their ways . dar·kōw Genesis 6:13 אֱלֹהִ֜ים Then God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer לְנֹ֗חַ to Noah , lə·nō·aḥ קֵ֤ץ “ The end qêṣ כָּל־ of all kāl- בָּשָׂר֙ living creatures bā·śār בָּ֣א has come bā לְפָנַ֔י before Me , lə·p̄ā·nay כִּֽי־ because kî- מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם through them mip·pə·nê·hem הָאָ֛רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ מָלְאָ֥ה is full of mā·lə·’āh חָמָ֖ס violence . ḥā·mās וְהִנְנִ֥י Now behold , wə·hin·nî מַשְׁחִיתָ֖ם I will destroy both them maš·ḥî·ṯām אֶת־ and ’eṯ- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 6:14 עֲשֵׂ֤ה Make ‘ă·śêh לְךָ֙ for yourself lə·ḵā תֵּבַ֣ת an ark tê·ḇaṯ גֹ֔פֶר of gopher ḡō·p̄er עֲצֵי־ wood ; ‘ă·ṣê- תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה make ta·‘ă·śeh קִנִּ֖ים rooms qin·nîm אֶת־ in ’eṯ- הַתֵּבָ֑ה the ark hat·tê·ḇāh וְכָֽפַרְתָּ֥ and coat wə·ḵā·p̄ar·tā אֹתָ֛הּ it ’ō·ṯāh בַּכֹּֽפֶר׃ with pitch bak·kō·p̄er מִבַּ֥יִת inside mib·ba·yiṯ וּמִח֖וּץ and out . ū·mi·ḥūṣ Genesis 6:15 וְזֶ֕ה And this wə·zeh אֲשֶׁ֥ר is how ’ă·šer תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֖ה you are to build ta·‘ă·śeh אֹתָ֑הּ it : ’ō·ṯāh הַתֵּבָ֔ה The ark hat·tê·ḇāh שְׁלֹ֧שׁ [is to be] 300 šə·lōš מֵא֣וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ אַמָּ֗ה cubits ’am·māh אֹ֚רֶךְ long , ’ō·reḵ חֲמִשִּׁ֤ים 50 ḥă·miš·šîm אַמָּה֙ cubits ’am·māh רָחְבָּ֔הּ wide , rā·ḥə·bāh וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים and 30 ū·šə·lō·šîm אַמָּ֖ה cubits ’am·māh קוֹמָתָֽהּ׃ high . qō·w·mā·ṯāh Genesis 6:16 תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה You are to make ta·‘ă·śeh צֹ֣הַר׀ a roof ṣō·har לַתֵּבָ֗ה for the ark , lat·tê·ḇāh וְאֶל־ - wə·’el- תְּכַלֶ֣נָּה finish [its walls] tə·ḵa·lɛn·nå̄h אַמָּה֙ a cubit ’am·māh מִלְמַ֔עְלָה from the top , mil·ma‘·lāh תָּשִׂ֑ים place tā·śîm וּפֶ֥תַח a door ū·p̄e·ṯaḥ בְּצִדָּ֣הּ in the side bə·ṣid·dāh הַתֵּבָ֖ה of the ark , hat·tê·ḇāh תַּֽעֲשֶֽׂהָ׃ and build ta·‘ă·śe·hā תַּחְתִּיִּ֛ם lower , taḥ·tî·yim שְׁנִיִּ֥ם middle , šə·nî·yim וּשְׁלִשִׁ֖ים and upper {decks} . ū·šə·li·šîm Genesis 6:17 וַאֲנִ֗י And wa·’ă·nî
