וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- אַלּוֹנֵ֥י the oaks ’al·lō·w·nê הַבָּשָֽׁן׃ of Bashan , hab·bā·šān Isaiah 2:14 וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- הָרָמִ֑ים the tall hā·rā·mîm הֶהָרִ֣ים mountains , he·hā·rîm וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ all kāl- הַנִּשָּׂאֽוֹת׃ the high han·niś·śā·’ō·wṯ הַגְּבָע֥וֹת hills , hag·gə·ḇā·‘ō·wṯ Isaiah 2:15 וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ every kāl- גָּבֹ֑הַ high gå̄·ḇō·ha מִגְדָּ֣ל tower , miḡ·dāl וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ every kāl- בְצוּרָֽה׃ fortified ḇə·ṣū·rāh חוֹמָ֥ה wall , ḥō·w·māh Isaiah 2:16 וְעַ֖ל against wə·‘al כָּל־ every kāl- אֳנִיּ֣וֹת ship ’o·nî·yō·wṯ תַּרְשִׁ֑ישׁ of Tarshish , tar·šîš וְעַ֖ל and against wə·‘al כָּל־ every kāl- הַחֶמְדָּֽה׃ stately ha·ḥem·dāh שְׂכִיּ֥וֹת vessel . śə·ḵî·yō·wṯ Isaiah 2:17 גַּבְה֣וּת So the pride gaḇ·hūṯ הָאָדָ֔ם of man hā·’ā·ḏām וְשַׁח֙ will be brought low , wə·šaḥ ר֣וּם and the loftiness rūm אֲנָשִׁ֑ים of men ’ă·nā·šîm וְשָׁפֵ֖ל will be humbled ; wə·šā·p̄êl יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh לְבַדּ֖וֹ alone lə·ḇad·dōw וְנִשְׂגַּ֧ב will be exalted wə·niś·gaḇ הַהֽוּא׃ in that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day , bay·yō·wm Isaiah 2:18 וְהָאֱלִילִ֖ים and the idols wə·hā·’ĕ·lî·lîm יַחֲלֹֽף׃ will vanish ya·ḥă·lōp̄ כָּלִ֥יל completely . kā·lîl Isaiah 2:19 וּבָ֙אוּ֙ Men will flee ū·ḇā·’ū בִּמְעָר֣וֹת to caves bim·‘ā·rō·wṯ צֻרִ֔ים in the rocks ṣu·rîm וּבִמְחִלּ֖וֹת and holes ū·ḇim·ḥil·lō·wṯ עָפָ֑ר in the ground , ‘ā·p̄ār מִפְּנֵ֞י away from mip·pə·nê פַּ֤חַד the terror pa·ḥaḏ יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh וּמֵהֲדַ֣ר and from the splendor ū·mê·hă·ḏar גְּאוֹנ֔וֹ of His majesty , gə·’ō·w·nōw בְּקוּמ֖וֹ when He rises bə·qū·mōw לַעֲרֹ֥ץ to shake la·‘ă·rōṣ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Isaiah 2:20 הַהוּא֙ In that ha·hū בַּיּ֤וֹם day bay·yō·wm הָאָדָ֔ם men hā·’ā·ḏām אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ יַשְׁלִ֣יךְ will cast away yaš·lîḵ לַחְפֹּ֥ר to the moles laḥ·pōr פֵּר֖וֹת . . . pê·rō·wṯ וְלָעֲטַלֵּפִֽים׃ and bats wə·lā·‘ă·ṭal·lê·p̄îm אֱלִילֵ֣י their idols ’ĕ·lî·lê כַסְפּ֔וֹ of silver ḵas·pōw וְאֵ֖ת and wə·’êṯ אֱלִילֵ֣י . . . ’ĕ·lî·lê זְהָב֑וֹ gold — zə·hā·ḇōw אֲשֶׁ֤ר [the idols] ’ă·šer עָֽשׂוּ־ they made ‘ā·śū- לוֹ֙ lōw לְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֔ת to worship . lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ Isaiah 2:21 לָבוֹא֙ They will flee lā·ḇō·w בְּנִקְר֣וֹת to caverns bə·niq·rō·wṯ הַצֻּרִ֔ים in the rocks haṣ·ṣu·rîm וּבִסְעִפֵ֖י and crevices ū·ḇis·‘i·p̄ê
