Exodus 6:11 בֹּ֣א “ Go bō דַבֵּ֔ר and tell ḏab·bêr אֶל־ . . . ’el- פַּרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt miṣ·rā·yim בְּנֵֽי־ to let the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וִֽישַׁלַּ֥ח go out wî·šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ of his land . ” mê·’ar·ṣōw Exodus 6:12 יְהוָ֖ה But in YHWH’s Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr לִפְנֵ֥י presence lip̄·nê מֹשֶׁ֔ה Moses mō·šeh וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר replied , way·ḏab·bêr הֵ֤ן “ If hên בְּנֵֽי־ the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . yiś·rā·’êl לֹֽא־ will not lō- שָׁמְע֣וּ listen šā·mə·‘ū אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay וְאֵיךְ֙ then why wə·’êḵ פַרְעֹ֔ה would Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh יִשְׁמָעֵ֣נִי listen to me , yiš·mā·‘ê·nî וַאֲנִ֖י since I wa·’ă·nî עֲרַ֥ל am unskilled ‘ă·ral שְׂפָתָֽיִם׃פ in speech ? ” śə·p̄ā·ṯā·yim Exodus 6:13 יְהוָה֮ Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר spoke way·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh אַהֲרֹן֒ and Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וַיְצַוֵּם֙ and gave them a charge way·ṣaw·wêm אֶל־ . . . ’el- וְאֶֽל־ concerning wə·’el- בְּנֵ֣י both the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl וְאֶל־ . . . wə·’el- פַּרְעֹ֖ה and Pharaoh par·‘ōh מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim לְהוֹצִ֥יא to bring lə·hō·w·ṣî בְּנֵֽי־ the Israelites bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֵאֶ֥רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ס of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim Exodus 6:14 אֵ֖לֶּה These ’êl·leh רָאשֵׁ֣י were the heads rā·šê אֲבֹתָ֑ם of their fathers’ ’ă·ḇō·ṯām בֵית־ houses : ḇêṯ- בְּנֵ֨י The sons bə·nê רְאוּבֵ֜ן of Reuben , rə·’ū·ḇên בְּכֹ֣ר the firstborn bə·ḵōr יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel, [were] yiś·rā·’êl חֲנ֤וֹךְ Hanoch ḥă·nō·wḵ וּפַלּוּא֙ and Pallu , ū·p̄al·lū חֶצְר֣וֹן Hezron ḥeṣ·rō·wn וְכַרְמִ֔י and Carmi . wə·ḵar·mî אֵ֖לֶּה These ’êl·leh מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת were the clans miš·pə·ḥōṯ רְאוּבֵֽן׃ of Reuben . rə·’ū·ḇên Exodus 6:15 וּבְנֵ֣י The sons ū·ḇə·nê שִׁמְע֗וֹן of Simeon [were] šim·‘ō·wn יְמוּאֵ֨ל Jemuel , yə·mū·’êl וְיָמִ֤ין Jamin , wə·yā·mîn וְאֹ֙הַד֙ Ohad , wə·’ō·haḏ וְיָכִ֣ין Jachin , wə·yā·ḵîn וְצֹ֔חַר Zohar , wə·ṣō·ḥar וְשָׁא֖וּל and Shaul , wə·šā·’ūl בֶּן־ the son ben- הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑ית of a Canaanite woman. hak·kə·na·‘ă·nîṯ אֵ֖לֶּה These ’êl·leh מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת were the clans miš·pə·ḥōṯ שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃ of Simeon . šim·‘ō·wn Exodus 6:16 וְאֵ֨לֶּה These wə·’êl·leh שְׁמ֤וֹת were the names šə·mō·wṯ בְּנֵֽי־ of the sons bə·nê- לֵוִי֙ of Levi lê·wî לְתֹ֣לְדֹתָ֔ם according to their records : lə·ṯō·lə·ḏō·ṯām גֵּרְשׁ֕וֹן Gershon , gê·rə·šō·wn וּקְהָ֖ת Kohath , ū·qə·hāṯ
