עֹרְבֵי־ may the ravens ‘ō·rə·ḇê- נַ֑חַל of the valley na·ḥal יִקְּר֥וּהָ pluck it out yiq·qə·rū·hā בְנֵי־ and young ḇə·nê- נָֽשֶׁר׃פ vultures nā·šer וְֽיֹאכְל֥וּהָ devour it . wə·yō·ḵə·lū·hā Proverbs 30:18 הֵ֭מָּה There hêm·māh שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה are three [things] šə·lō·šāh נִפְלְא֣וּ too wonderful nip̄·lə·’ū מִמֶּ֑נִּי for me , mim·men·nî וְאַרְבָּע four wə·ʾar·bå̄ʿ לֹ֣א that I cannot lō יְדַעְתִּֽים׃ understand : yə·ḏa‘·tîm Proverbs 30:19 דֶּ֤רֶךְ the way de·reḵ הַנֶּ֨שֶׁר׀ of an eagle han·ne·šer בַּשָּׁמַיִם֮ in the sky , baš·šā·ma·yim דֶּ֥רֶךְ the way de·reḵ נָחָ֗שׁ of a snake nā·ḥāš עֲלֵ֫י on ‘ă·lê צ֥וּר a rock , ṣūr דֶּֽרֶךְ־ the way de·reḵ- אֳנִיָּ֥ה of a ship ’o·nî·yāh בְלֶב־ vvv ḇə·leḇ- יָ֑ם at sea , yām וְדֶ֖רֶךְ and the way wə·ḏe·reḵ גֶּ֣בֶר of a man ge·ḇer בְּעַלְמָֽה׃ with a maiden . bə·‘al·māh Proverbs 30:20 כֵּ֤ן׀ This kên דֶּ֥רֶךְ is the way de·reḵ אִשָּׁ֗ה of an adulteress ’iš·šāh מְנָ֫אָ֥פֶת . . . : mə·nā·’ā·p̄eṯ אָ֭כְלָה She eats ’ā·ḵə·lāh וּמָ֣חֲתָה and wipes ū·mā·ḥă·ṯāh פִ֑יהָ her mouth p̄î·hā וְ֝אָמְרָ֗ה and says , wə·’ā·mə·rāh פָעַ֥לְתִּי ‘ I have done p̄ā·‘al·tî לֹֽא־ nothing lō- אָֽוֶן׃פ wrong . ’ ’ā·wen Proverbs 30:21 תַּ֣חַת Under ta·ḥaṯ שָׁ֭לוֹשׁ three things lō·wōš אֶ֑רֶץ the earth ’e·reṣ רָ֣גְזָה trembles , rā·ḡə·zāh וְתַ֥חַת under wə·ṯa·ḥaṯ אַ֝רְבַּ֗ע four ’ar·ba‘ לֹא־ it cannot lō- תוּכַ֥ל . . . ṯū·ḵal שְׂאֵֽת׃ bear up : śə·’êṯ Proverbs 30:22 תַּֽחַת־ - ta·ḥaṯ- עֶ֭בֶד a servant ‘e·ḇeḏ כִּ֣י who kî יִמְל֑וֹךְ becomes king , yim·lō·wḵ וְ֝נָבָ֗ל a fool wə·nā·ḇāl כִּ֣י who kî יִֽשְׂבַּֽע־ is filled yiś·ba‘- לָֽחֶם׃ with food , lā·ḥem Proverbs 30:23 תַּ֣חַת - ta·ḥaṯ שְׂ֭נוּאָה an unloved woman nū·’āh כִּ֣י who kî תִבָּעֵ֑ל marries , ṯib·bā·‘êl וְ֝שִׁפְחָ֗ה and a maidservant wə·šip̄·ḥāh כִּֽי־ who kî- תִירַ֥שׁ supplants ṯî·raš גְּבִרְתָּֽהּ׃פ her mistress . gə·ḇir·tāh Proverbs 30:24 אַרְבָּ֣עָה Four ’ar·bā·‘āh אָ֑רֶץ things on earth ’ā·reṣ וְ֝הֵ֗מָּה . . . wə·hêm·māh קְטַנֵּי־ are small , qə·ṭan·nê- הֵ֭ם yet they hêm מְחֻכָּמִֽים׃ are exceedingly mə·ḥuk·kā·mîm חֲכָמִ֥ים wise : ḥă·ḵā·mîm Proverbs 30:25 הַ֭נְּמָלִים The ants han·nə·mā·lîm עַ֣ם are creatures ‘am לֹא־ of little lō- עָ֑ז strength , ‘āz וַיָּכִ֖ינוּ yet they store up way·yā·ḵî·nū לַחְמָֽם׃ their food laḥ·mām
