Proverbs 30:2 כִּ֤י Surely kî אָנֹכִ֣י I [am] ’ā·nō·ḵî בַ֣עַר the most ignorant ḇa·‘ar מֵאִ֑ישׁ of men , mê·’îš וְלֹֽא־ and I lack wə·lō- בִינַ֖ת the understanding ḇî·naṯ אָדָ֣ם of a man ’ā·ḏām לִֽי׃ . lî Proverbs 30:3 וְלֹֽא־ I have not wə·lō- לָמַ֥דְתִּי learned lā·maḏ·tî חָכְמָ֑ה wisdom , ḥāḵ·māh וְדַ֖עַת and I have no knowledge wə·ḏa·‘aṯ אֵדָֽע׃ . . . ’ê·ḏā‘ קְדֹשִׁ֣ים of the Holy One . qə·ḏō·šîm Proverbs 30:4 מִ֤י Who mî עָלָֽה־ has ascended ‘ā·lāh- שָׁמַ֨יִם׀ to heaven šā·ma·yim וַיֵּרַ֡ד and come down ? way·yê·raḏ מִ֤י Who mî אָֽסַף־ has gathered ’ā·sap̄- ר֨וּחַ׀ the wind rū·aḥ בְּחָפְנָ֡יו in His hands ? bə·ḥā·p̄ə·nāw מִ֤י Who mî צָֽרַר־ has bound up ṣā·rar- מַ֨יִם׀ the waters ma·yim בַּשִּׂמְלָ֗ה in His cloak ? baś·śim·lāh מִ֭י Who mî הֵקִ֣ים has established hê·qîm כָּל־ all kāl- אַפְסֵי־ the ends ’ap̄·sê- אָ֑רֶץ of the earth ? ’ā·reṣ מַה־ What mah- שְּׁמ֥וֹ is His name , šə·mōw וּמַֽה־ and what ū·mah- שֶּׁם־ is the name šem- בְּ֝נ֗וֹ of His Son — bə·nōw כִּ֣י surely kî תֵדָֽע׃ you know ! ṯê·ḏā‘ Proverbs 30:5 כָּל־ Every kāl- אִמְרַ֣ת word ’im·raṯ אֱל֣וֹהַּ of God ’ĕ·lō·w·ah צְרוּפָ֑ה is flawless ; ṣə·rū·p̄āh ה֝֗וּא He hū מָגֵ֥ן is a shield mā·ḡên לַֽחֹסִ֥ים to those who take refuge la·ḥō·sîm בּֽוֹ׃ in Him . bōw Proverbs 30:6 אַל־ Do not ’al- תּ֥וֹסְףְּ add tō·wsp עַל־ to ‘al- דְּבָרָ֑יו His words , də·ḇā·rāw פֶּן־ lest pen- יוֹכִ֖יחַ He rebuke yō·w·ḵî·aḥ בְּךָ֣ you bə·ḵā וְנִכְזָֽבְתָּ׃פ and prove you a liar . wə·niḵ·zā·ḇə·tā Proverbs 30:7 שְׁ֭תַּיִם Two ta·yim שָׁאַ֣לְתִּי things I ask šā·’al·tî מֵאִתָּ֑ךְ . . . mê·’it·tāḵ מִ֝מֶּ֗נִּי of You — mim·men·nî אַל־ do not ’al- תִּמְנַ֥ע refuse me tim·na‘ בְּטֶ֣רֶם before bə·ṭe·rem אָמֽוּת׃ I die : ’ā·mūṯ Proverbs 30:8 שָׁ֤וְא׀ Keep falsehood šāw כָּזָ֡ב and deceitful kā·zāḇ וּֽדְבַר־ words ū·ḏə·ḇar- הַרְחֵ֬ק far har·ḥêq מִמֶּ֗נִּי from me . mim·men·nî תִּֽתֶּן־ Give tit·ten- לִ֑י me lî אַל־ neither ’al- רֵ֣אשׁ poverty rêš וָ֭עֹשֶׁר nor riches ; wā·‘ō·šer הַ֝טְרִיפֵ֗נִי feed me haṭ·rî·p̄ê·nî לֶ֣חֶם with the bread le·ḥem חֻקִּֽי׃ that is my portion . ḥuq·qî Proverbs 30:9 פֶּ֥ן Otherwise , pen אֶשְׂבַּ֨ע׀ I may have too much ’eś·ba‘ וְכִחַשְׁתִּי֮ and deny You , wə·ḵi·ḥaš·tî
