בַקַּ֣יִץ in the summer ; ḇaq·qa·yiṣ Proverbs 30:26 שְׁ֭פַנִּים the rock badgers p̄an·nîm עַ֣ם are creatures ‘am לֹא־ of little lō- עָצ֑וּם power , ‘ā·ṣūm וַיָּשִׂ֖ימוּ yet they make way·yā·śî·mū בֵּיתָֽם׃ their homes bê·ṯām בַסֶּ֣לַע in the rocks ; ḇas·se·la‘ Proverbs 30:27 לָאַרְבֶּ֑ה the locusts lā·’ar·beh אֵ֣ין have no ’ên מֶ֭לֶךְ king , me·leḵ כֻּלּֽוֹ׃ yet they all kul·lōw וַיֵּצֵ֖א advance way·yê·ṣê חֹצֵ֣ץ in formation ; ḥō·ṣêṣ Proverbs 30:28 שְׂ֭מָמִית and the lizard mā·mîṯ תְּתַפֵּ֑שׂ can be caught tə·ṯap·pêś בְּיָדַ֣יִם in one’s hands , bə·yā·ḏa·yim וְ֝הִ֗יא yet it wə·hî בְּהֵ֣יכְלֵי [is found] in the palaces bə·hê·ḵə·lê מֶֽלֶךְ׃פ of kings . me·leḵ Proverbs 30:29 הֵ֭מָּה There hêm·māh שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה are three things šə·lō·šāh מֵיטִ֣יבֵי that are stately mê·ṭî·ḇê צָ֑עַד in their stride , ṣā·‘aḏ וְ֝אַרְבָּעָ֗ה and four that wə·’ar·bā·‘āh מֵיטִ֥בֵי are impressive mê·ṭi·ḇê לָֽכֶת׃ in their walk : lā·ḵeṯ Proverbs 30:30 לַ֭יִשׁ a lion , la·yiš גִּבּ֣וֹר mighty gib·bō·wr בַּבְּהֵמָ֑ה among beasts , bab·bə·hê·māh וְלֹא־ refusing wə·lō- יָ֝שׁ֗וּב to retreat yā·šūḇ מִפְּנֵי־ before mip·pə·nê- כֹֽל׃ anything ; ḵōl Proverbs 30:31 זַרְזִ֣יר a strutting rooster zar·zîr מָתְנַ֣יִם . . . ; mā·ṯə·na·yim אוֹ־ . . . ’ōw- תָ֑יִשׁ a he-goat ; ṯā·yiš וּ֝מֶ֗לֶךְ and a king ū·me·leḵ אַלְק֥וּם with his army ’al·qūm עִמּֽוֹ׃ around him . ‘im·mōw Proverbs 30:32 אִם־ If ’im- נָבַ֥לְתָּ you have foolishly nā·ḇal·tā בְהִתְנַשֵּׂ֑א exalted yourself ḇə·hiṯ·naś·śê וְאִם־ or if wə·’im- זַ֝מּ֗וֹתָ you have plotted evil , zam·mō·w·ṯā יָ֣ד put your hand yāḏ לְפֶֽה׃ over your mouth . lə·p̄eh Proverbs 30:33 כִּ֤י For kî מִ֪יץ as the churning mîṣ חָלָ֡ב of milk ḥā·lāḇ י֘וֹצִ֤יא yields yō·w·ṣî חֶמְאָ֗ה butter , ḥem·’āh וּֽמִיץ־ and the twisting ū·mîṣ- אַ֭ף of the nose ’ap̄ י֣וֹצִיא draws yō·w·ṣî דָ֑ם blood , ḏām וּמִ֥יץ so the stirring ū·mîṣ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם of anger ’ap·pa·yim י֣וֹצִיא brings forth yō·w·ṣî רִֽיב׃פ strife . ” rîḇ Proverbs 31:1 דִּ֭בְרֵי [These are] the words diḇ·rê מֶ֑לֶךְ of King me·leḵ לְמוּאֵ֣ל Lemuel — lə·mū·’êl מַ֝שָּׂ֗א the burden maś·śā אֲ that ’ăšer- אִמּֽוֹ׃ his mother ’im·mōw יִסְּרַ֥תּוּ taught him : yis·sə·rat·tū Proverbs 31:2 מַה־ What [shall I say] , mah- בְּ֭רִי O my son ? bə·rî
