צְנוּעִ֥ים humility ṣə·nū·‘îm חָכְמָֽה׃ comes wisdom . ḥāḵ·māh Proverbs 11:3 תֻּמַּ֣ת The integrity tum·maṯ יְשָׁרִ֣ים of the upright yə·šā·rîm תַּנְחֵ֑ם guides them , tan·ḥêm וְסֶ֖לֶף but the perversity wə·se·lep̄ בּוֹגְדִ֣ים of the faithless bō·wḡ·ḏîm וְשַׁדָּם׃ destroys them . wə·šad·då̄m Proverbs 11:4 ה֭וֹן Riches hō·wn לֹא־ vvv lō- יוֹעִ֣יל are worthless yō·w·‘îl בְּי֣וֹם in the day bə·yō·wm עֶבְרָ֑ה of wrath , ‘eḇ·rāh וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה but righteousness ū·ṣə·ḏā·qāh תַּצִּ֥יל brings deliverance taṣ·ṣîl מִמָּֽוֶת׃ from death . mim·mā·weṯ Proverbs 11:5 צִדְקַ֣ת The righteousness ṣiḏ·qaṯ תָּ֭מִים of the blameless tā·mîm תְּיַשֵּׁ֣ר directs tə·yaš·šêr דַּרְכּ֑וֹ their path , dar·kōw רָשָֽׁע׃ but the wicked rā·šā‘ יִפֹּ֥ל fall yip·pōl וּ֝בְרִשְׁעָת֗וֹ by their own wickedness . ū·ḇə·riš·‘ā·ṯōw Proverbs 11:6 צִדְקַ֣ת The righteousness ṣiḏ·qaṯ יְ֭שָׁרִים of the upright yə·šā·rîm תַּצִּילֵ֑ם delivers them , taṣ·ṣî·lêm בֹּגְדִ֥ים but the faithless bō·ḡə·ḏîm יִלָּכֵֽדוּ׃ are trapped yil·lā·ḵê·ḏū וּ֝בְהַוַּ֗ת by their own desires . ū·ḇə·haw·waṯ Proverbs 11:7 רָ֭שָׁע When the wicked rā·šā‘ אָדָ֣ם man ’ā·ḏām בְּמ֤וֹת dies , bə·mō·wṯ תִּקְוָ֑ה his hope tiq·wāh תֹּאבַ֣ד perishes , tō·ḇaḏ וְתוֹחֶ֖לֶת and the hope wə·ṯō·w·ḥe·leṯ אוֹנִ֣ים of his strength ’ō·w·nîm אָבָֽדָה׃ vanishes . ’ā·ḇā·ḏāh Proverbs 11:8 צַ֭דִּיק The righteous man ṣad·dîq נֶחֱלָ֑ץ is delivered ne·ḥĕ·lāṣ מִצָּרָ֣ה from trouble ; miṣ·ṣā·rāh תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ in his place taḥ·tāw רָשָׁ֣ע the wicked man rā·šā‘ וַיָּבֹ֖א goes in . way·yā·ḇō Proverbs 11:9 בְּפֶ֗ה With his mouth bə·p̄eh חָ֭נֵף the ungodly man ḥā·nêp̄ יַשְׁחִ֣ת destroys yaš·ḥiṯ רֵעֵ֑הוּ his neighbor , rê·‘ê·hū וּ֝בְדַ֗עַת but through knowledge ū·ḇə·ḏa·‘aṯ צַדִּיקִ֥ים the righteous ṣad·dî·qîm יֵחָלֵֽצוּ׃ are rescued . yê·ḥā·lê·ṣū Proverbs 11:10 צַ֭דִּיקִים When the righteous ṣad·dî·qîm בְּט֣וּב thrive , bə·ṭūḇ קִרְיָ֑ה the city qir·yāh תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ rejoices , ta·‘ă·lōṣ רְשָׁעִ֣ים and when the wicked rə·šā·‘îm וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד perish , ū·ḇa·’ă·ḇōḏ רִנָּֽה׃ there are shouts of joy . rin·nāh Proverbs 11:11 בְּבִרְכַּ֣ת By the blessing bə·ḇir·kaṯ יְ֭שָׁרִים of the upright yə·šā·rîm קָ֑רֶת a city qā·reṯ תָּר֣וּם is built up , tā·rūm וּבְפִ֥י but by the mouth ū·ḇə·p̄î רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים of the wicked rə·šā·‘îm תֵּהָרֵֽס׃ it is torn down . tê·hā·rês Proverbs 11:12 בָּז־ Whoever shows contempt bāz- לְרֵעֵ֥הוּ for his neighbor lə·rê·‘ê·hū חֲסַר־ lacks ḥă·sar- לֵ֑ב judgment , lêḇ וְאִ֖ישׁ but a man wə·’îš תְּבוּנ֣וֹת of understanding tə·ḇū·nō·wṯ
