בְּאַ֣ף snout bə·’ap̄ יָ֝פָ֗ה [is] a beautiful yā·p̄āh אִשָּׁ֥ה woman ’iš·šāh וְסָ֣רַת who lacks wə·sā·raṯ טָֽעַם׃ discretion . ṭā·‘am Proverbs 11:23 תַּאֲוַ֣ת The desire ta·’ă·waṯ צַדִּיקִ֣ים of the righteous ṣad·dî·qîm אַךְ־ leads only ’aḵ- ט֑וֹב to good , ṭō·wḇ תִּקְוַ֖ת but the hope tiq·waṯ רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked rə·šā·‘îm עֶבְרָֽה׃ [brings] wrath . ‘eḇ·rāh Proverbs 11:24 יֵ֣שׁ - yêš מְ֭פַזֵּר One gives freely , mə·p̄az·zêr וְנוֹסָ֥ף yet gains wə·nō·w·sāp̄ ע֑וֹד even more ; ‘ō·wḏ וְחוֹשֵׂ֥ךְ another withholds wə·ḥō·w·śêḵ מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר what is right , mî·yō·šer אַךְ־ only ’aḵ- לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃ to become poor . lə·maḥ·sō·wr Proverbs 11:25 בְּרָכָ֥ה A generous bə·rā·ḵāh נֶֽפֶשׁ־ soul ne·p̄eš- תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן will prosper , ṯə·ḏuš·šān וּ֝מַרְוֶ֗ה and he who refreshes others ū·mar·weh גַּם־ . . . gam- ה֥וּא will himself hū יוֹרֶֽא׃ be refreshed . yō·w·re Proverbs 11:26 לְא֑וֹם The people lə·’ō·wm יִקְּבֻ֣הוּ will curse yiq·qə·ḇu·hū מֹ֣נֵֽעַ the hoarder mō·nê·a‘ בָּ֭ר of grain , bār וּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה but blessing ū·ḇə·rā·ḵāh לְרֹ֣אשׁ will crown lə·rōš מַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ the one who sells it . maš·bîr Proverbs 11:27 שֹׁ֣חֵֽר He who searches out šō·ḥêr ט֭וֹב good ṭō·wḇ יְבַקֵּ֣שׁ finds yə·ḇaq·qêš רָצ֑וֹן favor , rā·ṣō·wn רָעָ֣ה but evil rā·‘āh תְבוֹאֶֽנּוּ׃ will come ṯə·ḇō·w·’en·nū וְדֹרֵ֖שׁ to him who seeks it . wə·ḏō·rêš Proverbs 11:28 בּוֹטֵ֣חַ He who trusts bō·w·ṭê·aḥ בְּ֭עָשְׁרוֹ in his riches bə·‘ā·šə·rōw ה֣וּא . . . hū יִפֹּ֑ל will fall , yip·pōl צַדִּיקִ֥ים but the righteous ṣad·dî·qîm יִפְרָֽחוּ׃ will thrive yip̄·rā·ḥū וְ֝כֶעָלֶ֗ה like foliage . wə·ḵe·‘ā·leh Proverbs 11:29 עוֹכֵ֣ר He who brings trouble ‘ō·w·ḵêr בֵּ֭יתוֹ on his house bê·ṯōw יִנְחַל־ will inherit yin·ḥal- ר֑וּחַ the wind , rū·aḥ אֱ֝וִ֗יל and the fool ’ĕ·wîl וְעֶ֥בֶד will be servant wə·‘e·ḇeḏ לַחֲכַם־ to the wise la·ḥă·ḵam- לֵֽב׃ of heart . lêḇ Proverbs 11:30 פְּֽרִי־ The fruit pə·rî- צַ֭דִּיק of the righteous ṣad·dîq עֵ֣ץ is a tree ‘êṣ חַיִּ֑ים of life , ḥay·yîm וְלֹקֵ֖חַ and he who wins wə·lō·qê·aḥ נְפָשׂ֣וֹת souls nə·p̄å̄·śōṯ חָכָֽם׃ [is] wise . ḥā·ḵām Proverbs 11:31 הֵ֣ן If hên צַ֭דִּיק the righteous ṣad·dîq יְשֻׁלָּ֑ם receive their due yə·šul·lām בָּאָ֣רֶץ on earth , bā·’ā·reṣ אַ֝֗ף how much more ’ap̄ כִּֽי־ . . . kî- רָשָׁ֥ע the ungodly rā·šā‘ וְחוֹטֵֽא׃ and the sinner ! wə·ḥō·w·ṭê
