Proverbs 10:15 ה֣וֹן The wealth hō·wn עָ֭שִׁיר of the rich man ‘ā·šîr עֻזּ֑וֹ is his fortified ‘uz·zōw קִרְיַ֣ת city , qir·yaṯ רֵישָֽׁם׃ but poverty rê·šām מְחִתַּ֖ת is the ruin mə·ḥit·taṯ דַּלִּ֣ים of the poor . dal·lîm Proverbs 10:16 פְּעֻלַּ֣ת The labor pə·‘ul·laṯ צַדִּ֣יק of the righteous ṣad·dîq לְחַיִּ֑ים leads to life , lə·ḥay·yîm תְּבוּאַ֖ת [but] the gain tə·ḇū·’aṯ רָשָׁ֣ע of the wicked rā·šā‘ לְחַטָּֽאת׃ [brings] punishment . lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Proverbs 10:17 שׁוֹמֵ֣ר Whoever heeds šō·w·mêr מוּסָ֑ר instruction mū·sār אֹ֣רַח is on the path ’ō·raḥ לְ֭חַיִּים to life , lə·ḥay·yîm וְעוֹזֵ֖ב but he who ignores wə·‘ō·w·zêḇ תּוֹכַ֣חַת reproof tō·w·ḵa·ḥaṯ מַתְעֶֽה׃ goes astray . maṯ·‘eh Proverbs 10:18 מְכַסֶּ֣ה The one who conceals mə·ḵas·seh שִׂ֭נְאָה hatred nə·’āh שָׁ֑קֶר has lying šā·qer שִׂפְתֵי־ lips , śip̄·ṯê- וּמוֹצִ֥א and whoever spreads ū·mō·w·ṣi דִ֝בָּ֗ה slander ḏib·bāh ה֣וּא . . . hū כְסִֽיל׃ is a fool . ḵə·sîl Proverbs 10:19 דְּ֭בָרִים When words də·ḇā·rîm בְּרֹ֣ב are many , bə·rōḇ פָּ֑שַׁע sin pā·ša‘ לֹ֣א is unavoidable lō יֶחְדַּל־ . . . , yeḥ·dal- וְחֹשֵׂ֖ךְ but he who restrains wə·ḥō·śêḵ שְׂפָתָ֣יו his lips śə·p̄ā·ṯāw מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ is wise . maś·kîl Proverbs 10:20 לְשׁ֣וֹן The tongue lə·šō·wn צַדִּ֑יק of the righteous ṣad·dîq נִ֭בְחָר [is] choice niḇ·ḥār כֶּ֣סֶף silver , ke·sep̄ לֵ֖ב [but] the heart lêḇ רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked rə·šā·‘îm כִּמְעָֽט׃ [has] little worth . kim·‘āṭ Proverbs 10:21 שִׂפְתֵ֣י The lips śip̄·ṯê צַ֭דִּיק of the righteous ṣad·dîq יִרְע֣וּ feed yir·‘ū רַבִּ֑ים many , rab·bîm וֶֽ֝אֱוִילִ֗ים but fools we·’ĕ·wî·lîm יָמֽוּתוּ׃ die yā·mū·ṯū בַּחֲסַר־ for lack ba·ḥă·sar- לֵ֥ב of judgment . lêḇ Proverbs 10:22 בִּרְכַּ֣ת The blessing bir·kaṯ יְ֭הוָה of YHWH Yah·weh הִ֣יא . . . hî תַעֲשִׁ֑יר enriches , ṯa·‘ă·šîr יוֹסִ֖ף and He adds yō·w·sip̄ וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- עֶ֣צֶב sorrow ‘e·ṣeḇ עִמָּֽהּ׃ to it . ‘im·māh Proverbs 10:23 לִ֭כְסִיל The fool liḵ·sîl כִּשְׂח֣וֹק delights kiś·ḥō·wq זִמָּ֑ה in shameful zim·māh עֲשׂ֣וֹת conduct , ‘ă·śō·wṯ לְאִ֣ישׁ but a man lə·’îš תְּבוּנָֽה׃ of understanding tə·ḇū·nāh וְ֝חָכְמָ֗ה has wisdom . wə·ḥā·ḵə·māh Proverbs 10:24 רָ֭שָׁע What the wicked [man] rā·šā‘ הִ֣יא . . . hî מְגוֹרַ֣ת dreads mə·ḡō·w·raṯ תְבוֹאֶ֑נּוּ will overtake him , ṯə·ḇō·w·’en·nū וְתַאֲוַ֖ת but the desire wə·ṯa·’ă·waṯ
