כִּ֣י for kî נָעִֽים׃ it is lovely . nā·‘îm Psalm 135:4 כִּֽי־ For kî- יָ֑הּ YHWH yāh בָּחַ֣ר has chosen bā·ḥar יַעֲקֹ֗ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ ל֣וֹ as His own , lōw יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl לִסְגֻלָּתֽוֹ׃ as His treasured possession . lis·ḡul·lā·ṯōw Psalm 135:5 כִּ֤י For kî אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî יָ֭דַעְתִּי know yā·ḏa‘·tî כִּי־ that kî- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh גָד֣וֹל is great ; ḡā·ḏō·wl וַ֝אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ our Lord wa·’ă·ḏō·nê·nū מִכָּל־ is above all mik·kāl אֱלֹהִֽים׃ gods . ’ĕ·lō·hîm Psalm 135:6 יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh עָ֫שָׂ֥ה does ‘ā·śāh כֹּ֤ל all kōl אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- חָפֵ֥ץ pleases Him ḥā·p̄êṣ בַּשָּׁמַ֥יִם in the heavens baš·šā·ma·yim וּבָאָ֑רֶץ and on the earth , ū·ḇā·’ā·reṣ בַּ֝יַּמִּ֗ים in the seas bay·yam·mîm וְכָל־ and in all wə·ḵāl תְּהוֹמֽוֹת׃ their depths . tə·hō·w·mō·wṯ Psalm 135:7 נְשִׂאִים֮ He causes the clouds nə·śi·’îm מַֽעֲלֶ֣ה to rise ma·‘ă·leh מִקְצֵ֪ה from the ends miq·ṣêh הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ of the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ עָשָׂ֑ה He generates ‘ā·śāh בְּרָקִ֣ים the lightning bə·rā·qîm לַמָּטָ֣ר with the rain lam·mā·ṭār מֽוֹצֵא־ and brings forth mō·w·ṣê- ר֝וּחַ the wind rū·aḥ מֵאֽוֹצְרוֹתָֽיו׃ from His storehouses . mê·’ō·wṣ·rō·w·ṯāw Psalm 135:8 שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה He struck down hik·kāh בְּכוֹרֵ֣י the firstborn bə·ḵō·w·rê מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim מֵ֝אָדָ֗ם of both man mê·’ā·ḏām עַד־ and ‘aḏ- בְּהֵמָֽה׃ beast . bə·hê·māh Psalm 135:9 שָׁלַ֤ח׀ He sent šā·laḥ אֹת֣וֹת signs ’ō·ṯō·wṯ וּ֭מֹפְתִים and wonders ū·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm בְּתוֹכֵ֣כִי into your midst , bə·ṯō·w·ḵê·ḵî מִצְרָ֑יִם O Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim בְּ֝פַרְעֹ֗ה against Pharaoh bə·p̄ar·‘ōh וּבְכָל־ and all ū·ḇə·ḵāl עֲבָדָֽיו׃ his servants . ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw Psalm 135:10 שֶֽׁ֭הִכָּה He struck down hik·kāh רַבִּ֑ים many rab·bîm גּוֹיִ֣ם nations gō·w·yim וְ֝הָרַ֗ג and slaughtered wə·hā·raḡ עֲצוּמִֽים׃ mighty ‘ă·ṣū·mîm מְלָכִ֥ים kings : mə·lā·ḵîm Psalm 135:11 לְסִיח֤וֹן׀ Sihon lə·sî·ḥō·wn מֶ֤לֶךְ king me·leḵ הָאֱמֹרִ֗י of the Amorites , hā·’ĕ·mō·rî וּ֭לְעוֹג Og ū·lə·‘ō·wḡ מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ הַבָּשָׁ֑ן of Bashan , hab·bā·šān וּ֝לְכֹ֗ל and all ū·lə·ḵōl מַמְלְכ֥וֹת the kings mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ כְּנָֽעַן׃ of Canaan . kə·nā·‘an Psalm 135:12 וְנָתַ֣ן He gave wə·nā·ṯan אַרְצָ֣ם their land ’ar·ṣām נַחֲלָ֑ה as an inheritance , na·ḥă·lāh נַ֝חֲלָ֗ה as a heritage na·ḥă·lāh עַמּֽוֹ׃ to His people ‘am·mōw לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל Israel . lə·yiś·rā·’êl
