נִשְׁבַּֽע־ swore an oath niš·ba‘- לְדָוִ֡ד to David lə·ḏā·wiḏ אֱמֶת֮ . . . , ’ĕ·meṯ לֹֽא־ a promise He will not lō- יָשׁ֪וּב revoke yā·šūḇ מִ֫מֶּ֥נָּה . . . : mim·men·nāh מִפְּרִ֥י “ One of your descendants mip·pə·rî בִטְנְךָ֑ . . . ḇiṭ·nə·ḵā אָ֝שִׁ֗ית I will place ’ā·šîṯ לְכִסֵּא־ on your throne lə·ḵis·sê- לָֽךְ׃ . lāḵ Psalm 132:12 אִֽם־ If ’im- בָנֶ֨יךָ׀ your sons ḇā·ne·ḵā יִשְׁמְר֬וּ keep yiš·mə·rū בְּרִיתִי֮ My covenant bə·rî·ṯî וְעֵדֹתִ֥י and the testimony wə·‘ê·ḏō·ṯî ז֗וֹ - zōw אֲלַ֫מְּדֵ֥ם I will teach them , ’ă·lam·mə·ḏêm בְּנֵיהֶ֥ם then their sons bə·nê·hem גַּם־ will also gam- יֵ֝שְׁב֗וּ sit yê·šə·ḇū לְכִסֵּא־ on your throne lə·ḵis·sê- לָֽךְ׃ lāḵ עֲדֵי־ forever ‘ă·ḏê- עַ֑ד and ever . ” ‘aḏ Psalm 132:13 כִּֽי־ For kî- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh בָחַ֣ר has chosen ḇā·ḥar בְּצִיּ֑וֹן Zion ; bə·ṣî·yō·wn אִ֝וָּ֗הּ He has desired ’iw·wāh לְמוֹשָׁ֥ב it for His home lə·mō·wō·šāḇ לֽוֹ׃ : lōw Psalm 132:14 זֹאת־ “ This zōṯ- מְנוּחָתִ֥י is My resting place mə·nū·ḥā·ṯî עֲדֵי־ forever ‘ă·ḏê- עַ֑ד and ever ; ‘aḏ פֹּֽה־ here pōh- אֵ֝שֵׁ֗ב I will dwell , ’ê·šêḇ כִּ֣י for kî אִוִּתִֽיהָ׃ I have desired [this home] . ’iw·wi·ṯî·hā Psalm 132:15 אֲבָרֵ֑ךְ I will bless her ’ă·ḇā·rêḵ בָּרֵ֣ךְ with abundant bā·rêḵ צֵ֭ידָהּ provisions ; ṣê·ḏāh אַשְׂבִּ֥יעַֽ I will satisfy ’aś·bî·a‘ אֶ֝בְיוֹנֶ֗יהָ her poor ’eḇ·yō·w·ne·hā לָֽחֶם׃ with bread . lā·ḥem Psalm 132:16 אַלְבִּ֣ישׁ I will clothe ’al·bîš וְֽ֭כֹהֲנֶיהָ her priests wə·ḵō·hă·ne·hā יֶ֑שַׁע with salvation , ye·ša‘ וַ֝חֲסִידֶ֗יהָ and her saints wa·ḥă·sî·ḏe·hā רַנֵּ֥ן will sing out in joy ran·nên יְרַנֵּֽנוּ׃ . . . . yə·ran·nê·nū Psalm 132:17 שָׁ֤ם There šām קֶ֣רֶן I will make a horn qe·ren אַצְמִ֣יחַ grow ’aṣ·mî·aḥ לְדָוִ֑ד for David ; lə·ḏā·wiḏ עָרַ֥כְתִּי I have prepared ‘ā·raḵ·tî נֵ֝֗ר a lamp nêr לִמְשִׁיחִֽי׃ for My anointed one . lim·šî·ḥî Psalm 132:18 אַלְבִּ֣ישׁ I will clothe ’al·bîš א֭וֹיְבָיו his enemies ’ō·wy·ḇāw בֹּ֑שֶׁת with shame , bō·šeṯ נִזְרֽוֹ׃ but the crown niz·rōw וְ֝עָלָ֗יו upon him wə·‘ā·lāw יָצִ֥יץ will gleam . ” yā·ṣîṣ Psalm 133:1 שִׁ֥יר A song šîr הַֽמַּעֲל֗וֹת of ascents . ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד Of David . lə·ḏā·wiḏ הִנֵּ֣ה Behold , hin·nêh מַה־ how mah- טּ֭וֹב good ṭō·wḇ וּמַה־ and ū·mah- נָּעִ֑ים pleasant it is nā·‘îm גַּם־ when gam- אַחִ֣ים brothers ’a·ḥîm שֶׁ֖בֶת live še·ḇeṯ
