אֶלְמַ֥ד I might learn ’el·maḏ חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ Your statutes . ḥuq·qe·ḵā Psalm 119:72 תֽוֹרַת־ The law ṯō·w·raṯ- פִּ֑יךָ from Your mouth pî·ḵā טֽוֹב־ is more precious ṭō·wḇ- לִ֥י to me lî מֵ֝אַלְפֵ֗י than thousands [of pieces] mê·’al·p̄ê זָהָ֥ב of gold zā·hāḇ וָכָֽסֶף׃ and silver . wā·ḵā·sep̄ Psalm 119:73 יָדֶ֣יךָ Your hands yā·ḏe·ḵā עָ֭שׂוּנִי have made me ‘ā·śū·nî וַֽיְכוֹנְנ֑וּנִי and fashioned me ; way·ḵō·wn·nū·nî הֲ֝בִינֵ֗נִי give me understanding hă·ḇî·nê·nî וְאֶלְמְדָ֥ה to learn wə·’el·mə·ḏāh מִצְוֺתֶֽיךָ׃ Your commandments . miṣ·wō·ṯe·ḵā Psalm 119:74 יְ֭רֵאֶיךָ May those who fear You yə·rê·’e·ḵā יִרְא֣וּנִי see me yir·’ū·nî וְיִשְׂמָ֑חוּ and rejoice , wə·yiś·mā·ḥū כִּ֖י for kî יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ I have hoped yi·ḥā·lə·tî לִדְבָרְךָ֣ in Your word . liḏ·ḇā·rə·ḵā Psalm 119:75 יָדַ֣עְתִּי I know , yā·ḏa‘·tî יְ֭הוָה O YHWH , Yah·weh כִּי־ that kî- מִשְׁפָּטֶ֑יךָ Your judgments miš·pā·ṭe·ḵā צֶ֣דֶק are righteous , ṣe·ḏeq וֶ֝אֱמוּנָ֗ה and that in faithfulness we·’ĕ·mū·nāh עִנִּיתָֽנִי׃ You have afflicted me . ‘in·nî·ṯā·nî Psalm 119:76 יְהִי־ May yə·hî- חַסְדְּךָ֣ Your loving devotion ḥas·də·ḵā לְנַחֲמֵ֑נִי comfort me , lə·na·ḥă·mê·nî נָ֣א I pray , nā כְּאִמְרָתְךָ֥ according to Your promise kə·’im·rā·ṯə·ḵā לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ to Your servant . lə·‘aḇ·de·ḵā Psalm 119:77 רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ May Your compassion ra·ḥă·me·ḵā יְבֹא֣וּנִי come to me , yə·ḇō·’ū·nî וְאֶֽחְיֶ֑ה that I may live , wə·’eḥ·yeh כִּי־ for kî- תֽ֝וֹרָתְךָ֗ Your law ṯō·w·rā·ṯə·ḵā שַֽׁעֲשֻׁעָֽי׃ [is] my delight . ša·‘ă·šu·‘āy Psalm 119:78 זֵ֭דִים May the arrogant zê·ḏîm יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ be put to shame yê·ḇō·šū כִּי־ for kî- עִוְּת֑וּנִי subverting me ‘iw·wə·ṯū·nî שֶׁ֣קֶר with a lie ; še·qer אֲ֝נִ֗י I ’ă·nî אָשִׂ֥יחַ will meditate ’ā·śî·aḥ בְּפִקּוּדֶֽיךָ׃ on Your precepts . bə·p̄iq·qū·ḏe·ḵā Psalm 119:79 יְרֵאֶ֑יךָ May those who fear You yə·rê·’e·ḵā יָשׁ֣וּבוּ turn yā·šū·ḇū לִ֣י to me , lî וְיָדְעוּ those who know wə·yå̄·ḏə·ʿū עֵדֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Your testimonies . ‘ê·ḏō·ṯe·ḵā Psalm 119:80 לִבִּ֣י May my heart lib·bî יְהִֽי־ be yə·hî- תָמִ֣ים blameless ṯā·mîm בְּחֻקֶּ֑יךָ in Your statutes , bə·ḥuq·qe·ḵā לְ֝מַ֗עַן that lə·ma·‘an לֹ֣א I may not lō אֵבֽוֹשׁ׃ be put to shame . ’ê·ḇō·wōš Psalm 119:81 נַפְשִׁ֑י My soul nap̄·šî כָּלְתָ֣ה faints kā·lə·ṯāh לִתְשׁוּעָתְךָ֣ for Your salvation ; liṯ·šū·‘ā·ṯə·ḵā יִחָֽלְתִּי׃ I wait yi·ḥā·lə·tî לִדְבָרְךָ֥ for Your word . liḏ·ḇā·rə·ḵā Psalm 119:82 עֵ֭ינַי My eyes ‘ê·nay כָּל֣וּ fail , kā·lū
