יֹאמְר֣וּ say , yō·mə·rū אַיֵּה־ “ Where ’ay·yêh- נָ֝֗א . . . nā אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ is their God ? ” ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem Psalm 115:3 וֵֽאלֹהֵ֥ינוּ Our God wê·lō·hê·nū בַשָּׁמָ֑יִם is in heaven ; ḇaš·šā·mā·yim עָשָֽׂה׃ He does ‘ā·śāh כֹּ֭ל as kōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חָפֵ֣ץ He pleases . ḥā·p̄êṣ Psalm 115:4 עֲ Their idols ‘ăṣab·bê·hem כֶּ֣סֶף are silver ke·sep̄ וְזָהָ֑ב and gold , wə·zā·hāḇ מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה made ma·‘ă·śêh יְדֵ֣י by the hands yə·ḏê אָדָֽם׃ of men . ’ā·ḏām Psalm 115:5 פֶּֽה־ They have mouths peh- לָ֭הֶם . . . , lā·hem וְלֹ֣א but cannot wə·lō יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ speak ; yə·ḏab·bê·rū עֵינַ֥יִם they have eyes ‘ê·na·yim לָ֝הֶ֗ם . . . , lā·hem וְלֹ֣א but cannot wə·lō יִרְאֽוּ׃ see ; yir·’ū Psalm 115:6 אָזְנַ֣יִם they have ears ’ā·zə·na·yim לָ֭הֶם , lā·hem וְלֹ֣א but cannot wə·lō יִשְׁמָ֑עוּ hear ; yiš·mā·‘ū אַ֥ף they have noses ’ap̄ לָ֝הֶ֗ם , lā·hem וְלֹ֣א but cannot wə·lō יְרִיחֽוּן׃ smell ; yə·rî·ḥūn Psalm 115:7 יְדֵיהֶ֤ם׀ they have hands , yə·ḏê·hem וְלֹ֬א but cannot wə·lō יְמִישׁ֗וּן feel ; yə·mî·šūn רַ֭גְלֵיהֶם they have feet , raḡ·lê·hem וְלֹ֣א but cannot wə·lō יְהַלֵּ֑כוּ walk ; yə·hal·lê·ḵū לֹֽא־ they cannot lō- יֶ֝הְגּ֗וּ even clear yeh·gū בִּגְרוֹנָֽם׃ their throats . biḡ·rō·w·nām Psalm 115:8 עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם Those who make them ‘ō·śê·hem יִהְי֣וּ become yih·yū כְּ֭מוֹהֶם like them , kə·mō·w·hem כֹּ֭ל as do all kōl אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בֹּטֵ֣חַ trust bō·ṭê·aḥ בָּהֶֽם׃ in them . bā·hem Psalm 115:9 יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל O Israel , yiś·rā·’êl בְּטַ֣ח trust bə·ṭaḥ בַּיהוָ֑ה in YHWH ! Yah·weh הֽוּא׃ He hū עֶזְרָ֖ם is their help ‘ez·rām וּמָגִנָּ֣ם and shield . ū·mā·ḡin·nām Psalm 115:10 בֵּ֣ית O house bêṯ אַ֭הֲרֹן of Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn בִּטְח֣וּ trust biṭ·ḥū בַיהוָ֑ה in YHWH ! Yah·weh הֽוּא׃ He hū עֶזְרָ֖ם is their help ‘ez·rām וּמָגִנָּ֣ם and shield . ū·mā·ḡin·nām Psalm 115:11 יִרְאֵ֣י You who fear yir·’ê יְ֭הוָה YHWH , Yah·weh בִּטְח֣וּ trust biṭ·ḥū בַיהוָ֑ה in YHWH !
