וַ֭יַּרְא He took note way·yar בַּצַּ֣ר of their distress baṣ·ṣar לָהֶ֑ם . . . . lā·hem Psalm 106:45 וַיִּזְכֹּ֣ר And He remembered way·yiz·kōr בְּרִית֑וֹ His covenant bə·rî·ṯōw לָהֶ֣ם with them , lā·hem וַ֝יִּנָּחֵ֗ם and relented way·yin·nā·ḥêm כְּרֹ֣ב by the abundance kə·rōḇ חַסְדּוֹ׃ of His loving devotion . ḥas·dō Psalm 106:46 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן He made way·yit·tên אוֹתָ֣ם them ’ō·w·ṯām לְרַחֲמִ֑ים objects of compassion lə·ra·ḥă·mîm לִ֝פְנֵ֗י to lip̄·nê כָּל־ all kāl- שׁוֹבֵיהֶֽם׃ who held them captive . šō·w·ḇê·hem Psalm 106:47 הוֹשִׁיעֵ֨נוּ׀ Save us , hō·wō·šî·‘ê·nū יְה֘וָ֤ה O YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū וְקַבְּצֵנוּ֮ and gather us wə·qab·bə·ṣê·nū מִֽן־ from min- הַגּ֫וֹיִ֥ם the nations , hag·gō·w·yim לְ֭הֹדוֹת that we may give thanks lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ קָדְשֶׁ֑ךָ to Your holy qāḏ·še·ḵā לְשֵׁ֣ם name , lə·šêm לְ֝הִשְׁתַּבֵּ֗חַ that we may glory lə·hiš·tab·bê·aḥ בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ in Your praise . biṯ·hil·lā·ṯe·ḵā Psalm 106:48 בָּר֤וּךְ־ Blessed [be] bā·rūḵ- יְהוָ֨ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֪י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl מִן־ from min- הָ֤עוֹלָ֨ם׀ everlasting hā·‘ō·w·lām וְעַ֬ד to wə·‘aḏ הָעוֹלָ֗ם everlasting . hā·‘ō·w·lām כָּל־ Let all kāl- הָעָ֥ם the people hā·‘ām וְאָמַ֖ר say , wə·’ā·mar אָמֵ֗ן “ Amen ! ” ’ā·mên הַֽלְלוּ־ Hallelujah hal·lū- יָֽהּ׃ . . . ! yāh Psalm 107:1 הֹד֣וּ Give thanks hō·ḏū לַיהוָ֣ה to YHWH , Yah·weh כִּי־ for kî- ט֑וֹב He is good ; ṭō·wḇ כִּ֖י . . . kî חַסְדּֽוֹ׃ His loving devotion ḥas·dōw לְעוֹלָ֣ם endures forever . lə·‘ō·w·lām Psalm 107:2 גְּאוּלֵ֣י Let the redeemed gə·’ū·lê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh יֹ֭אמְרוּ say so , yō·mə·rū אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer גְּ֝אָלָ֗ם He has redeemed gə·’ā·lām מִיַּד־ from the hand mî·yaḏ- צָֽר׃ of the enemy ṣār Psalm 107:3 קִ֫בְּצָ֥ם and gathered qib·bə·ṣām וּֽמֵאֲרָצ֗וֹת from the lands , ū·mê·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ מִמִּזְרָ֥ח from east mim·miz·rāḥ וּמִֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב and west , ū·mim·ma·‘ă·rāḇ מִצָּפ֥וֹן from north miṣ·ṣā·p̄ō·wn וּמִיָּֽם׃ and south . ū·mî·yām Psalm 107:4 תָּע֣וּ Some wandered tā·‘ū בַ֭מִּדְבָּר in desert ḇam·miḏ·bār בִּישִׁימ֣וֹן wastelands , bî·šî·mō·wn מָצָֽאוּ׃ finding mā·ṣā·’ū לֹ֣א no lō דָּ֑רֶךְ path dā·reḵ עִ֥יר to a city ‘îr מ֝וֹשָׁ֗ב in which to dwell . mō·wō·šāḇ Psalm 107:5 רְעֵבִ֥ים They were hungry rə·‘ê·ḇîm גַּם־ and gam- צְמֵאִ֑ים thirsty ; ṣə·mê·’îm נַ֝פְשָׁ֗ם their soul nap̄·šām תִּתְעַטָּֽף׃ fainted tiṯ·‘aṭ·ṭāp̄
