Psalm 106:34 לֹֽא־ They did not lō- הִ֭שְׁמִידוּ destroy hiš·mî·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָֽעַמִּ֑ים the peoples hā·‘am·mîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר as ’ă·šer יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֖ר had commanded ’ā·mar לָהֶֽם׃ them , lā·hem Psalm 106:35 וַיִּתְעָרְב֥וּ but they mingled way·yiṯ·‘ā·rə·ḇū בַגּוֹיִ֑ם with the nations ḇag·gō·w·yim וַֽ֝יִּלְמְד֗וּ and adopted way·yil·mə·ḏū מַֽעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃ their customs . ma·‘ă·śê·hem Psalm 106:36 וַיַּעַבְד֥וּ They worshiped way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֑ם their idols , ‘ă·ṣab·bê·hem וַיִּהְי֖וּ which became way·yih·yū לָהֶ֣ם . . . lā·hem לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃ a snare to them . lə·mō·w·qêš Psalm 106:37 וַיִּזְבְּח֣וּ They sacrificed way·yiz·bə·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּ֭נֵיהֶם their sons bə·nê·hem וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- בְּנֽוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם their daughters bə·nō·w·ṯê·hem לַשֵּֽׁדִים׃ to demons . laš·šê·ḏîm Psalm 106:38 וַיִּֽשְׁפְּכ֨וּ They shed way·yiš·pə·ḵū נָקִ֡י innocent nā·qî דָ֪ם blood — ḏām דַּם־ the blood dam- בְּנֵ֘יהֶ֤ם of their sons bə·nê·hem וּֽבְנוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם and daughters , ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·hem אֲשֶׁ֣ר whom ’ă·šer זִ֭בְּחוּ they sacrificed zib·bə·ḥū לַעֲצַבֵּ֣י to the idols la·‘ă·ṣab·bê כְנָ֑עַן of Canaan , ḵə·nā·‘an הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ and the land hā·’ā·reṣ וַתֶּחֱנַ֥ף was polluted wat·te·ḥĕ·nap̄ בַּדָּמִֽים׃ with blood . bad·dā·mîm Psalm 106:39 וַיִּטְמְא֥וּ They defiled themselves way·yiṭ·mə·’ū בְמַעֲשֵׂיהֶ֑ם by their actions ḇə·ma·‘ă·śê·hem וַ֝יִּזְנוּ֗ and prostituted themselves way·yiz·nū בְּמַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ by their deeds . bə·ma·‘al·lê·hem Psalm 106:40 אַ֣ף So the anger ’ap̄ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּֽחַר־ burned way·yi·ḥar- בְּעַמּ֑וֹ against His people , bə·‘am·mōw וַ֝יְתָעֵ֗ב and He abhorred way·ṯā·‘êḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ His own inheritance . na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw Psalm 106:41 וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם He delivered them way·yit·tə·nêm בְּיַד־ into the hand bə·yaḏ- גּוֹיִ֑ם of the nations , gō·w·yim שֹׂנְאֵיהֶֽם׃ and those who hated them śō·nə·’ê·hem וַֽיִּמְשְׁל֥וּ ruled way·yim·šə·lū בָ֝הֶ֗ם over them . ḇā·hem Psalm 106:42 אוֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם Their enemies ’ō·wy·ḇê·hem וַיִּלְחָצ֥וּם oppressed them , way·yil·ḥā·ṣūm וַ֝יִּכָּנְע֗וּ and subdued them way·yik·kā·nə·‘ū תַּ֣חַת under ta·ḥaṯ יָדָֽם׃ their hand . yā·ḏām Psalm 106:43 רַבּ֗וֹת Many rab·bō·wṯ פְּעָמִ֥ים times pə·‘ā·mîm יַצִּ֫ילֵ֥ם He rescued them , yaṣ·ṣî·lêm וְ֭הֵמָּה but they wə·hêm·māh יַמְר֣וּ were bent yam·rū בַעֲצָתָ֑ם on rebellion ḇa·‘ă·ṣā·ṯām וַ֝יָּמֹ֗כּוּ and sank down way·yā·mōk·kū בַּעֲוֺנָֽם׃ in their iniquity . ba·‘ă·wō·nām Psalm 106:44 בְּ֝שָׁמְע֗וֹ Nevertheless He heard bə·šā·mə·‘ōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רִנָּתָֽם׃ their cry ; rin·nā·ṯām
