שָׁ֪תָה she places šā·ṯāh אֶפְרֹ֫חֶ֥יהָ her young ’ep̄·rō·ḥe·hā אֶֽת־ . . . ’eṯ- מִ֭זְבְּחוֹתֶיךָ near Your altars , miz·bə·ḥō·w·ṯe·ḵā יְהוָ֣ה O YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֑וֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ מַ֝לְכִּ֗י my King mal·kî וֵאלֹהָֽי׃ and my God . wê·lō·hāy Psalm 84:4 אַ֭שְׁרֵי How blessed ’aš·rê יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י are those who dwell yō·wō·šə·ḇê בֵיתֶ֑ךָ in Your house ! ḇê·ṯe·ḵā ע֝֗וֹד They are ever ‘ō·wḏ יְֽהַלְל֥וּךָ praising You . yə·hal·lū·ḵā סֶּֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 84:5 אַשְׁרֵ֣י Blessed ’aš·rê אָ֭דָם are those ’ā·ḏām עֽוֹז־ whose strength ‘ō·wz- ל֥וֹ lōw בָ֑ךְ is in You , ḇāḵ בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ whose hearts bil·ḇā·ḇām מְ֝סִלּ֗וֹת are set on pilgrimage . mə·sil·lō·wṯ Psalm 84:6 עֹבְרֵ֤י׀ As they pass ‘ō·ḇə·rê בְּעֵ֣מֶק through the Valley bə·‘ê·meq הַ֭בָּכָא of Baca , hab·bā·ḵā יְשִׁית֑וּהוּ they make it yə·šî·ṯū·hū מַעְיָ֣ן a place of springs ; ma‘·yān גַּם־ even gam- מוֹרֶֽה׃ the autumn rain mō·w·reh יַעְטֶ֥ה covers it ya‘·ṭeh בְּ֝רָכ֗וֹת with pools . bə·rā·ḵō·wṯ Psalm 84:7 יֵ֭לְכוּ They go yê·lə·ḵū מֵחַ֣יִל from strength mê·ḥa·yil אֶל־ to ’el- חָ֑יִל strength , ḥā·yil יֵרָאֶ֖ה until each appears yê·rā·’eh אֶל־ before ’el- אֱלֹהִ֣ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃ in Zion . bə·ṣî·yō·wn Psalm 84:8 יְה֘וָ֤ה O YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהִ֣ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm צְ֭בָאוֹת of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ שִׁמְעָ֣ה hear šim·‘āh תְפִלָּתִ֑י my prayer ; ṯə·p̄il·lā·ṯî הַאֲזִ֨ינָה give ear , ha·’ă·zî·nāh אֱלֹהֵ֖י O God ’ĕ·lō·hê יַעֲקֹ֣ב of Jacob . ya·‘ă·qōḇ סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 84:9 רְאֵ֣ה Take notice rə·’êh מָ֭גִנֵּנוּ of our shield , mā·ḡin·nê·nū אֱלֹהִ֑ים O God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm וְ֝הַבֵּ֗ט and look with favor wə·hab·bêṭ פְּנֵ֣י on the face pə·nê מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ of Your anointed . mə·šî·ḥe·ḵā Psalm 84:10 כִּ֤י For kî טֽוֹב־ better ṭō·wḇ- י֥וֹם is one day yō·wm בַּחֲצֵרֶ֗יךָ in Your courts ba·ḥă·ṣê·re·ḵā מֵ֫אָ֥לֶף than a thousand elsewhere . mê·’ā·lep̄ בָּחַ֗רְתִּי I would rather bā·ḥar·tî הִ֭סְתּוֹפֵף be a doorkeeper his·tō·w·p̄êp̄ בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ אֱלֹהַ֑י of my God ’ĕ·lō·hay מִ֝דּ֗וּר than dwell mid·dūr בְּאָהֳלֵי־ in the tents bə·’ā·ho·lê- רֶֽשַׁע׃ of the wicked . re·ša‘ Psalm 84:11 כִּ֤י For kî יְהוָ֪ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm שֶׁ֨מֶשׁ׀ is a sun še·meš וּמָגֵן֮ and a shield ; ū·mā·ḡên יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh יִתֵּ֣ן gives yit·tên חֵ֣ן grace ḥên וְ֭כָבוֹד and glory ; wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ יִמְנַע־ He withholds yim·na‘- לֹ֥א no lō
