רֹֽאשׁ׃ their heads . rōš Psalm 83:3 יַעֲרִ֣ימוּ With cunning ya·‘ă·rî·mū ס֑וֹד they scheme sō·wḏ עַֽל־ against ‘al- עַ֭מְּךָ Your people ‘am·mə·ḵā וְ֝יִתְיָעֲצ֗וּ and conspire wə·yiṯ·yā·‘ă·ṣū עַל־ against ‘al- צְפוּנֶֽיךָ׃ those You cherish , ṣə·p̄ū·ne·ḵā Psalm 83:4 אָמְר֗וּ saying , ’ā·mə·rū לְ֭כוּ “ Come , lə·ḵū וְנַכְחִידֵ֣ם let us erase them wə·naḵ·ḥî·ḏêm מִגּ֑וֹי as a nation ; mig·gō·w שֵֽׁם־ may the name šêm- יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִזָּכֵ֖ר be remembered yiz·zā·ḵêr וְלֹֽא־ no wə·lō- עֽוֹד׃ more . ” ‘ō·wḏ Psalm 83:5 כִּ֤י For kî לֵ֣ב with one mind lêḇ נוֹעֲצ֣וּ they plot nō·w·‘ă·ṣū יַחְדָּ֑ו together , yaḥ·dāw יִכְרֹֽתוּ׃ they form yiḵ·rō·ṯū בְּרִ֣ית an alliance bə·rîṯ עָ֝לֶ֗יךָ against You — ‘ā·le·ḵā Psalm 83:6 אָהֳלֵ֣י the tents ’ā·ho·lê אֱ֭דוֹם of Edom ’ĕ·ḏō·wm וְיִשְׁמְעֵאלִ֗ים and the Ishmaelites , wə·yiš·mə·‘ê·lîm מוֹאָ֥ב of Moab mō·w·’āḇ וְהַגְרִֽים׃ and the Hagrites , wə·haḡ·rîm Psalm 83:7 גְּבָ֣ל [of] Gebal , gə·ḇāl וְ֭עַמּוֹן Ammon , wə·‘am·mō·wn וַעֲמָלֵ֑ק and Amalek , wa·‘ă·mā·lêq פְּ֝לֶ֗שֶׁת [of] Philistia pə·le·šeṯ עִם־ with ‘im- יֹ֥שְׁבֵי the people yō·šə·ḇê צֽוֹר׃ of Tyre . ṣō·wr Psalm 83:8 גַּם־ Even gam- אַ֭שּׁוּר Assyria ’aš·šūr נִלְוָ֣ה has joined nil·wāh עִמָּ֑ם them , ‘im·mām הָ֤י֥וּ lending hā·yū זְר֖וֹעַ strength zə·rō·w·a‘ לִבְנֵי־ to the sons liḇ·nê- ל֣וֹט of Lot . lō·wṭ סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 83:9 עֲשֵֽׂה־ Do ‘ă·śêh- לָהֶ֥ם to them lā·hem כְּמִדְיָ֑ן as You did to Midian , kə·miḏ·yān כְּֽסִֽיסְרָ֥א as to Sisera kə·sî·sə·rā כְ֝יָבִ֗ין and Jabin ḵə·yā·ḇîn בְּנַ֣חַל at the River bə·na·ḥal קִישֽׁוֹן׃ Kishon , qî·šō·wn Psalm 83:10 נִשְׁמְד֥וּ who perished niš·mə·ḏū בְֽעֵין־ vvv ḇə·‘ên- דֹּ֑אר at Endor dōr הָ֥יוּ and became hā·yū דֹּ֝֗מֶן [like] dung dō·men לָאֲדָמָֽה׃ on the ground . lā·’ă·ḏā·māh Psalm 83:11 שִׁיתֵ֣מוֹ Make šî·ṯê·mōw נְ֭דִיבֵמוֹ their nobles nə·ḏî·ḇê·mōw כְּעֹרֵ֣ב like Oreb kə·‘ō·rêḇ וְכִזְאֵ֑ב and Zeeb , wə·ḵiz·’êḇ כָּל־ and all kāl- נְסִיכֵֽמוֹ׃ their princes nə·sî·ḵê·mōw וּֽכְזֶ֥בַח like Zebah ū·ḵə·ze·ḇaḥ וּ֝כְצַלְמֻנָּ֗ע and Zalmunna , ū·ḵə·ṣal·mun·nā‘ Psalm 83:12 אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer אָ֭מְרוּ said , ’ā·mə·rū נִ֣ירֲשָׁה “ Let us possess nî·ră·šāh לָּ֑נוּ for ourselves lā·nū
