Psalm 80:8 תַּסִּ֑יעַ You uprooted tas·sî·a‘ גֶּ֭פֶן a vine ge·p̄en מִמִּצְרַ֣יִם from Egypt ; mim·miṣ·ra·yim תְּגָרֵ֥שׁ You drove out tə·ḡā·rêš גּ֝וֹיִ֗ם the nations gō·w·yim וַתִּטָּעֶֽהָ׃ and transplanted it . wat·tiṭ·ṭā·‘e·hā Psalm 80:9 פִּנִּ֥יתָ You cleared the ground pin·nî·ṯā לְפָנֶ֑יהָ for it , lə·p̄ā·ne·hā וַתַּשְׁרֵ֥שׁ and it took wat·taš·rêš שָׁ֝רָשֶׁ֗יהָ root rā·še·hā וַתְּמַלֵּא־ and filled wat·tə·mal·lê- אָֽרֶץ׃ the land . ’ā·reṣ Psalm 80:10 הָרִ֣ים The mountains hā·rîm כָּסּ֣וּ were covered kās·sū צִלָּ֑הּ by its shade , ṣil·lāh אֵֽל׃ and the mighty ’êl אַֽרְזֵי־ cedars ’ar·zê- וַ֝עֲנָפֶ֗יהָ with its branches . wa·‘ă·nā·p̄e·hā Psalm 80:11 תְּשַׁלַּ֣ח It sent out tə·šal·laḥ קְצִירֶ֣הָ its branches qə·ṣî·re·hā עַד־ to ‘aḏ- יָ֑ם the Sea , yām יֽוֹנְקוֹתֶֽיהָ׃ and its shoots yō·wn·qō·w·ṯe·hā וְאֶל־ toward wə·’el- נָ֝הָ֗ר the River . nā·hār Psalm 80:12 לָ֭מָּה Why lām·māh פָּרַ֣צְתָּ have You broken down pā·raṣ·tā גְדֵרֶ֑יהָ its walls , ḡə·ḏê·re·hā כָּל־ so that all kāl- עֹ֥בְרֵי who pass by ‘ō·ḇə·rê דָֽרֶךְ׃ . . . ḏā·reḵ וְ֝אָר֗וּהָ pick its fruit ? wə·’ā·rū·hā Psalm 80:13 חֲזִ֣יר The boar ḥă·zîr מִיָּ֑עַר from the forest mī·yå̄·ʿar יְכַרְסְמֶ֣נָּֽה ravages it , yə·ḵar·sə·men·nāh וְזִ֖יז and the creatures wə·zîz שָׂדַ֣י of the field śā·ḏay יִרְעֶֽנָּה׃ feed upon it . yir·‘en·nāh Psalm 80:14 שֽׁ֫וּב־ Return , šūḇ- אֱלֹהִ֣ים O God ’ĕ·lō·hîm צְבָאוֹת֮ of Hosts , ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ נָ֥א we pray ! nā הַבֵּ֣ט Look down hab·bêṭ מִשָּׁמַ֣יִם from heaven miš·šā·ma·yim וּרְאֵ֑ה and see ! ū·rə·’êh וּ֝פְקֹ֗ד Attend to ū·p̄ə·qōḏ זֹֽאת׃ this zōṯ גֶּ֣פֶן vine — ge·p̄en Psalm 80:15 וְ֭כַנָּה the root wə·ḵan·nāh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- יְמִינֶ֑ךָ Your right hand yə·mî·ne·ḵā וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- נָטְעָ֣ה has planted , nā·ṭə·‘āh בֵּ֝֗ן the son bên אִמַּ֥צְתָּה You have raised up ’im·maṣ·tāh לָּֽךְ׃ for Yourself . lāḵ Psalm 80:16 כְּסוּחָ֑ה [Your vine] has been cut down kə·sū·ḥāh שְׂרֻפָ֣ה and burned śə·ru·p̄āh בָאֵ֣שׁ . . . ; ḇā·’êš יֹאבֵֽדוּ׃ they perish yō·ḇê·ḏū מִגַּעֲרַ֖ת at the rebuke mig·ga·‘ă·raṯ פָּנֶ֣יךָ of Your countenance . pā·ne·ḵā Psalm 80:17 יָ֭דְךָ Let Your hand yā·ḏə·ḵā תְּֽהִי־ be tə·hî- עַל־ upon ‘al- אִ֣ישׁ the man ’îš יְמִינֶ֑ךָ at Your right hand , yə·mî·ne·ḵā עַל־ on ‘al- בֶּן־ the son ben- אָ֝דָ֗ם of man ’ā·ḏām אִמַּ֥צְתָּ You have raised up ’im·maṣ·tā לָּֽךְ׃ for Yourself . lāḵ
