Psalm 72:20 כָּלּ֥וּ Thus conclude kāl·lū תְפִלּ֑וֹת the prayers ṯə·p̄il·lō·wṯ דָּ֝וִ֗ד of David dā·wiḏ בֶּן־ son ben- יִשָֽׁי׃ of Jesse . yi·šāy Psalm 73:1 מִזְמ֗וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לְאָ֫סָ֥ף of Asaph . lə·’ā·sāp̄ אַ֤ךְ Surely ’aḵ אֱלֹהִ֗ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm ט֭וֹב [is] good ṭō·wḇ לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל to Israel , lə·yiś·rā·’êl לְבָרֵ֥י to those who are pure lə·ḇā·rê לֵבָֽב׃ in heart . lê·ḇāḇ Psalm 73:2 וַאֲנִ֗י But as for me , wa·’ă·nî רַגְלָ֑י my feet raḡ·lāy כִּ֭מְעַט had almost kim·‘aṭ נָטוּי stumbled ; nå̄·ṭui אֲשֻׁרָֽי׃ my steps ’ă·šu·rāy כְּ֝אַ֗יִן had nearly kə·’a·yin שֻׁפְּכָה slipped . šup·pə·ḵå̄h Psalm 73:3 כִּֽי־ For kî- קִ֭נֵּאתִי I envied qin·nê·ṯî בַּֽהוֹלְלִ֑ים the arrogant ba·hō·wl·lîm אֶרְאֶֽה׃ [when] I saw ’er·’eh שְׁל֖וֹם the prosperity šə·lō·wm רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked . rə·šā·‘îm Psalm 73:4 כִּ֤י - kî אֵ֖ין They have no ’ên חַרְצֻבּ֥וֹת struggle ḥar·ṣub·bō·wṯ לְמוֹתָ֗ם in their death ; lə·mō·w·ṯām אוּלָֽם׃ their bodies ’ū·lām וּבָרִ֥יא are well-fed . ū·ḇā·rî Psalm 73:5 אֵינֵ֑מוֹ They are free ’ê·nê·mōw בַּעֲמַ֣ל of the burdens ba·‘ă·mal אֱנ֣וֹשׁ others {carry} ; ’ĕ·nō·wōš לֹ֣א they are not lō יְנֻגָּֽעוּ׃ afflicted yə·nug·gā·‘ū וְעִם־ like wə·‘im- אָ֝דָ֗ם [other] men . ’ā·ḏām Psalm 73:6 לָ֭כֵן Therefore lā·ḵên גַאֲוָ֑ה pride ḡa·’ă·wāh עֲנָקַ֣תְמוֹ is their necklace ; ‘ă·nā·qaṯ·mōw שִׁ֝֗ית a garment ṯ חָמָ֥ס of violence ḥā·mās יַעֲטָף־ covers ya·‘ă·ṭā·p̄ō·ši- לָֽמוֹ׃ them . lā·mōw Psalm 73:7 מֵחֵ֣לֶב From their prosperity mê·ḥê·leḇ יָ֭צָא proceeds yā·ṣā עֵינֵ֑מוֹ iniquity ; ‘ê·nê·mōw מַשְׂכִּיּ֥וֹת the imaginations maś·kî·yō·wṯ לֵבָֽב׃ of their hearts lê·ḇāḇ עָ֝בְר֗וּ run wild . ‘ā·ḇə·rū Psalm 73:8 יָמִ֤יקוּ׀ They mock yā·mî·qū וִידַבְּר֣וּ and speak wî·ḏab·bə·rū בְרָ֣ע with malice ; ḇə·rā‘ מִמָּר֥וֹם with arrogance mim·mā·rō·wm יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃ they threaten yə·ḏab·bê·rū עֹ֑שֶׁק oppression . ‘ō·šeq Psalm 73:9 שַׁתּ֣וּ They set šat·tū פִּיהֶ֑ם their mouths pî·hem בַשָּׁמַ֣יִם against the heavens , ḇaš·šā·ma·yim וּ֝לְשׁוֹנָ֗ם and their tongues ū·lə·šō·w·nām תִּֽהֲלַ֥ךְ strut ti·hă·laḵ בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ across the earth . bā·’ā·reṣ Psalm 73:10 לָכֵ֤ן׀ So lā·ḵên עַמּ֣וֹ their people ‘am·mōw יָשִׁיב return yå̄·šīḇ הֲלֹ֑ם to this place hă·lōm יִמָּ֥צוּ and drink up yim·mā·ṣū לָֽמוֹ׃ lā·mōw
