יַ֭צִּיל he will deliver yaṣ·ṣîl אֶבְי֣וֹן the needy ’eḇ·yō·wn מְשַׁוֵּ֑עַ who cry out mə·šaw·wê·a‘ וְ֝עָנִ֗י and the afflicted wə·‘ā·nî וְֽאֵין־ who have no wə·’ên- עֹזֵ֥ר helper . ‘ō·zêr לֽוֹ׃ lōw Psalm 72:13 יָ֭חֹס He will take pity yā·ḥōs עַל־ on ‘al- דַּ֣ל the poor dal וְאֶבְי֑וֹן and needy wə·’eḇ·yō·wn יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ and save yō·wō·šî·a‘ וְנַפְשׁ֖וֹת the lives wə·nap̄·šō·wṯ אֶבְיוֹנִ֣ים of the oppressed . ’eḇ·yō·w·nîm Psalm 72:14 יִגְאַ֣ל He will redeem yiḡ·’al נַפְשָׁ֑ם them nap̄·šām מִתּ֣וֹךְ from oppression mit·tō·wḵ וּ֭מֵחָמָס and violence , ū·mê·ḥā·mās דָּמָ֣ם for their blood dā·mām וְיֵיקַ֖ר is precious wə·yê·qar בְּעֵינָֽיו׃ in his sight . bə·‘ê·nāw Psalm 72:15 וִיחִ֗י Long may he live ! wî·ḥî מִזְּהַ֪ב May gold miz·zə·haḇ שְׁ֫בָ֥א from Sheba šə·ḇā וְיִתֶּן־ be given wə·yit·ten- לוֹ֮ him . lōw תָמִ֑יד May people ever ṯā·mîḏ וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל pray wə·yiṯ·pal·lêl בַּעֲד֣וֹ for him ; ba·‘ă·ḏōw יְבָרֲכֶֽנְהֽוּ׃ may they bless him yə·ḇā·ră·ḵen·hū כָּל־ all kāl- הַ֝יּ֗וֹם day long . hay·yō·wm Psalm 72:16 יְהִ֤י May there be yə·hî פִסַּת־ an abundance p̄is·saṯ- בַּ֨ר׀ of grain bar בָּאָרֶץ֮ in the land ; bā·’ā·reṣ יִרְעַ֣שׁ may it sway yir·‘aš בְּרֹ֪אשׁ atop bə·rōš הָ֫רִ֥ים the hills . hā·rîm פִּרְי֑וֹ May its fruit trees pir·yōw וְיָצִ֥יצוּ flourish wə·yā·ṣî·ṣū כַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן like [the forests of] Lebanon , kal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn מֵ֝עִ֗יר and its people mê·‘îr כְּעֵ֣שֶׂב like the grass kə·‘ê·śeḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the field . hā·’ā·reṣ Psalm 72:17 שְׁמ֨וֹ May his name šə·mōw יְהִ֤י endure yə·hî לְֽעוֹלָ֗ם forever ; lə·‘ō·w·lām שְׁ֫מ֥וֹ may his name šə·mōw יָנִין continue yå̄·nīn לִפְנֵי־ as lip̄·nê- שֶׁמֶשׁ֮ long as the sun [shines] . še·meš ב֑וֹ In him ḇōw כָּל־ may all kāl- גּוֹיִ֥ם nations gō·w·yim וְיִתְבָּ֥רְכוּ be blessed ; wə·yiṯ·bā·rə·ḵū יְאַשְּׁרֽוּהוּ׃ may they call him blessed . yə·’aš·šə·rū·hū Psalm 72:18 בָּר֤וּךְ׀ Blessed be bā·rūḵ יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱ֭לֹהִים God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ who alone lə·ḇad·dōw עֹשֵׂ֖ה does ‘ō·śêh נִפְלָא֣וֹת marvelous deeds . nip̄·lā·’ō·wṯ Psalm 72:19 וּבָר֤וּךְ׀ And blessed ū·ḇā·rūḵ כְּבוֹד֗וֹ [be] His glorious kə·ḇō·w·ḏōw שֵׁ֥ם name šêm לְע֫וֹלָ֥ם forever ; lə·‘ō·w·lām כֹּ֥ל may all kōl הָאָ֗רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְיִמָּלֵ֣א be filled wə·yim·mā·lê כְ֭בוֹדוֹ with His glory . ḵə·ḇō·w·ḏōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָ֘מֵ֥ן׀ Amen ’ā·mên וְאָמֵֽן׃ and amen . wə·’ā·mên
