תַּחְשֹׁ֣ב devises taḥ·šōḇ הַ֭וּוֹת destruction haw·wō·wṯ מְ֝לֻטָּ֗שׁ like a sharpened mə·luṭ·ṭāš כְּתַ֥עַר razor , kə·ṯa·‘ar עֹשֵׂ֥ה O worker ‘ō·śêh רְמִיָּֽה׃ of deceit . rə·mî·yāh Psalm 52:3 אָהַ֣בְתָּ You love ’ā·haḇ·tā רָּ֣ע evil rā‘ מִטּ֑וֹב more than good , miṭ·ṭō·wḇ שֶׁ֓קֶר׀ falsehood še·qer מִדַּבֵּ֖ר more than speaking mid·dab·bêr צֶ֣דֶק truth . ṣe·ḏeq סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 52:4 אָהַ֥בְתָּ You love ’ā·haḇ·tā כָֽל־ every ḵāl דִּבְרֵי־ word diḇ·rê- בָ֗לַע that devours , ḇā·la‘ מִרְמָֽה׃ O deceitful mir·māh לְשׁ֣וֹן tongue . lə·šō·wn Psalm 52:5 גַּם־ Surely gam- אֵל֮ God ’êl יִתָּצְךָ֪ will bring you down yit·tā·ṣə·ḵā לָ֫נֶ֥צַח to everlasting ruin ; lā·ne·ṣaḥ יַחְתְּךָ֣ He will snatch you up yaḥ·tə·ḵā וְיִסָּחֲךָ֣ and tear you away wə·yis·sā·ḥă·ḵā מֵאֹ֑הֶל from [your] tent ; mê·’ō·hel וְשֵֽׁרֶשְׁךָ֨ He will uproot you wə·šê·reš·ḵā מֵאֶ֖רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ חַיִּ֣ים of the living . ḥay·yîm סֶֽלָה׃ Selah se·lāh Psalm 52:6 צַדִּיקִ֥ים The righteous ṣad·dî·qîm וְיִרְא֖וּ will see wə·yir·’ū וְיִירָ֗אוּ and fear ; wə·yî·rā·’ū וְעָלָ֥יו vvv wə·‘ā·lāw יִשְׂחָֽקוּ׃ they will mock [the evildoer], saying , yiś·ḥā·qū Psalm 52:7 הִנֵּ֤ה “ Look at hin·nêh הַגֶּ֗בֶר the man hag·ge·ḇer לֹ֤א who did not lō יָשִׂ֥ים make yā·śîm אֱלֹהִ֗ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm מָֽע֫וּזּ֥וֹ his refuge , mā·‘ūz·zōw וַ֭יִּבְטַח but trusted way·yiḇ·ṭaḥ בְּרֹ֣ב in the abundance bə·rōḇ עָשְׁר֑וֹ of his wealth ‘ā·šə·rōw יָ֝עֹ֗ז [and] strengthened himself yā·‘ōz בְּהַוָּתֽוֹ׃ by destruction . ” bə·haw·wā·ṯōw Psalm 52:8 וַאֲנִ֤י׀ But I wa·’ă·nî כְּזַ֣יִת am like an olive tree kə·za·yiṯ רַ֭עֲנָן flourishing ra·‘ă·nān בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ אֱלֹהִ֑ים of God ; ’ĕ·lō·hîm בָּטַ֥חְתִּי I trust bā·ṭaḥ·tî בְחֶֽסֶד־ in the loving devotion ḇə·ḥe·seḏ- אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm עוֹלָ֥ם forever ‘ō·w·lām וָעֶֽד׃ and ever . wā·‘eḏ Psalm 52:9 אוֹדְךָ֣ I will praise You ’ō·wḏ·ḵā לְ֭עוֹלָם forever , lə·‘ō·w·lām כִּ֣י because kî עָשִׂ֑יתָ You have done it . ‘ā·śî·ṯā וַאֲקַוֶּ֖ה I will wait on wa·’ă·qaw·weh שִׁמְךָ֥ Your name — šim·ḵā כִֽי־ for ḵî- ט֝֗וֹב it is good — ṭō·wḇ נֶ֣גֶד in the presence ne·ḡeḏ חֲסִידֶֽיךָ׃ of Your saints . ḥă·sî·ḏe·ḵā Psalm 53:1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ For the choirmaster . lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ עַֽל־ According to ‘al- מָחֲלַ֗ת Mahalath . mā·ḥă·laṯ מַשְׂכִּ֥יל A Maskil maś·kîl לְדָוִֽד׃ of David . lə·ḏā·wiḏ נָבָ֣ל The fool nā·ḇāl אָ֘מַ֤ר says ’ā·mar בְּ֭לִבּוֹ in his heart , bə·lib·bōw אֵ֣ין “ [There is] no ’ên אֱלֹהִ֑ים God . ” ’ĕ·lō·hîm
