Psalm 37:5 גּ֣וֹל Commit gō·wl דַּרְכֶּ֑ךָ your way dar·ke·ḵā עַל־ to ‘al- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH ; Yah·weh וּבְטַ֥ח trust ū·ḇə·ṭaḥ עָ֝לָ֗יו in Him , ‘ā·lāw וְה֣וּא and He wə·hū יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ will do it . ya·‘ă·śeh Psalm 37:6 וְהוֹצִ֣יא He will bring forth wə·hō·w·ṣî צִדְקֶ֑ךָ your righteousness ṣiḏ·qe·ḵā כָא֣וֹר like the dawn , ḵā·’ō·wr וּ֝מִשְׁפָּטֶ֗ךָ your justice ū·miš·pā·ṭe·ḵā כַּֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם׃ like the noonday sun . kaṣ·ṣā·ho·rā·yim Psalm 37:7 דּ֤וֹם׀ Be still dō·wm לַיהוָה֮ before YHWH Yah·weh וְהִתְח֪וֹלֵ֫ל and wait patiently wə·hiṯ·ḥō·w·lêl ל֥וֹ for Him ; lōw אַל־ do not ’al- תִּ֭תְחַר fret tiṯ·ḥar בְּמַצְלִ֣יחַ when men prosper bə·maṣ·lî·aḥ דַּרְכּ֑וֹ in their ways , dar·kōw בְּ֝אִ֗ישׁ [when they] bə·’îš עֹשֶׂ֥ה carry out ‘ō·śeh מְזִמּֽוֹת׃ wicked schemes . mə·zim·mō·wṯ Psalm 37:8 הֶ֣רֶף Refrain he·rep̄ מֵ֭אַף from anger mê·’ap̄ וַעֲזֹ֣ב and abandon wa·‘ă·zōḇ חֵמָ֑ה wrath ; ḥê·māh אַל־ do not ’al- תִּ֝תְחַ֗ר fret — tiṯ·ḥar אַךְ־ it can only ’aḵ- לְהָרֵֽעַ׃ bring harm . lə·hā·rê·a‘ Psalm 37:9 כִּֽי־ For kî- מְ֭רֵעִים the evildoers mə·rê·‘îm יִכָּרֵת֑וּן will be cut off , yik·kā·rê·ṯūn וְקֹוֵ֥י but those who hope wə·qō·wê יְ֝הוָ֗ה in YHWH Yah·weh הֵ֣מָּה . . . hêm·māh יִֽירְשׁוּ־ will inherit yî·rə·šū- אָֽרֶץ׃ the land . ’ā·reṣ Psalm 37:10 וְע֣וֹד Yet a little while wə·‘ō·wḏ מְ֭עַט . . . , mə·‘aṭ רָשָׁ֑ע and the wicked rā·šā‘ וְאֵ֣ין will be no more ; wə·’ên וְהִתְבּוֹנַ֖נְתָּ though you look wə·hiṯ·bō·w·nan·tā עַל־ for them , ‘al- מְקוֹמ֣וֹ vvv mə·qō·w·mōw וְאֵינֶֽנּוּ׃ they will not be found . wə·’ê·nen·nū Psalm 37:11 וַעֲנָוִ֥ים But the meek wa·‘ă·nā·wîm יִֽירְשׁוּ־ will inherit yî·rə·šū- אָ֑רֶץ the land ’ā·reṣ וְ֝הִתְעַנְּג֗וּ and delight wə·hiṯ·‘an·nə·ḡū עַל־ in ‘al- רֹ֥ב abundant rōḇ שָׁלֽוֹם׃ prosperity . šā·lō·wm Psalm 37:12 רָ֭שָׁע The wicked rā·šā‘ זֹמֵ֣ם scheme zō·mêm לַצַּדִּ֑יק against the righteous laṣ·ṣad·dîq וְחֹרֵ֖ק and gnash wə·ḥō·rêq שִׁנָּֽיו׃ their teeth šin·nāw עָלָ֣יו at them , ‘ā·lāw Psalm 37:13 אֲדֹנָ֥י but the Lord ’ă·ḏō·nāy יִשְׂחַק־ laughs yiś·ḥaq- ל֑וֹ , lōw כִּֽי־ - kî- רָ֝אָ֗ה seeing rā·’āh כִּֽי־ that kî- יוֹמֽוֹ׃ their day yō·w·mōw יָבֹ֥א is coming . yā·ḇō Psalm 37:14 רְשָׁעִים֮ The wicked rə·šā·‘îm פָּֽתְח֣וּ have drawn pā·ṯə·ḥū חֶ֤רֶב׀ the sword ḥe·reḇ
