Psalm 34:12 מִֽי־ Who mî- הָ֭אִישׁ is the man hā·’îš הֶחָפֵ֣ץ who delights in he·ḥā·p̄êṣ חַיִּ֑ים life , ḥay·yîm אֹהֵ֥ב who desires ’ō·hêḇ לִרְא֥וֹת to see lir·’ō·wṯ טֽוֹב׃ good ṭō·wḇ יָ֝מִ֗ים days ? yā·mîm Psalm 34:13 נְצֹ֣ר Keep nə·ṣōr לְשׁוֹנְךָ֣ your tongue lə·šō·wn·ḵā מֵרָ֑ע from evil mê·rā‘ וּ֝שְׂפָתֶ֗יךָ and your lips ū·śə·p̄ā·ṯe·ḵā מִרְמָֽה׃ from deceitful mir·māh מִדַּבֵּ֥ר speech . mid·dab·bêr Psalm 34:14 ס֣וּר Turn away sūr מֵ֭רָע from evil mê·rā‘ וַעֲשֵׂה־ and do wa·‘ă·śêh- ט֑וֹב good ; ṭō·wḇ בַּקֵּ֖שׁ seek baq·qêš שָׁל֣וֹם peace šā·lō·wm וְרָדְפֵֽהוּ׃ and pursue it . wə·rā·ḏə·p̄ê·hū Psalm 34:15 עֵינֵ֣י The eyes ‘ê·nê יְ֭הוָה of YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ are on ’el- צַדִּיקִ֑ים the righteous , ṣad·dî·qîm וְ֝אָזְנָ֗יו and His ears wə·’ā·zə·nāw אֶל־ are inclined ’el- שַׁוְעָתָֽם׃ to their cry . šaw·‘ā·ṯām Psalm 34:16 פְּנֵ֣י [But] the face pə·nê יְ֭הוָה of YHWH Yah·weh בְּעֹ֣שֵׂי is against bə·‘ō·śê רָ֑ע those who do evil , rā‘ לְהַכְרִ֖ית to wipe out lə·haḵ·rîṯ זִכְרָֽם׃ [all] memory of them ziḵ·rām מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the earth . mê·’e·reṣ Psalm 34:17 צָעֲק֣וּ The righteous cry out , ṣā·‘ă·qū וַיהוָ֣ה and YHWH Yah·weh שָׁמֵ֑עַ hears ; šā·mê·a‘ הִצִּילָֽם׃ He delivers them hiṣ·ṣî·lām וּמִכָּל־ from all ū·mik·kāl- צָ֝רוֹתָ֗ם their troubles . ṣā·rō·w·ṯām Psalm 34:18 יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh קָר֣וֹב is near to qā·rō·wḇ לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי־ the brokenhearted lə·niš·bə·rê- לֵ֑ב . . . ; lêḇ וְֽאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃ He saves yō·wō·šî·a‘ דַּכְּאֵי־ the contrite dak·kə·’ê- ר֥וּחַ in spirit . rū·aḥ Psalm 34:19 רַ֭בּוֹת Many rab·bō·wṯ רָע֣וֹת [are] the afflictions rā·‘ō·wṯ צַדִּ֑יק of the righteous , ṣad·dîq יְהוָֽה׃ but YHWH Yah·weh יַצִּילֶ֥נּוּ delivers him yaṣ·ṣî·len·nū וּ֝מִכֻּלָּ֗ם from them all . ū·mik·kul·lām Psalm 34:20 שֹׁמֵ֥ר He protects šō·mêr כָּל־ all kāl- עַצְמוֹתָ֑יו his bones ; ‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯāw לֹ֣א not lō אַחַ֥ת one ’a·ḥaṯ מֵ֝הֵ֗נָּה of them mê·hên·nāh נִשְׁבָּֽרָה׃ will be broken . niš·bā·rāh Psalm 34:21 רָעָ֑ה Evil rā·‘āh תְּמוֹתֵ֣ת {will} slay tə·mō·w·ṯêṯ רָשָׁ֣ע the wicked , rā·šā‘ וְשֹׂנְאֵ֖י and the haters wə·śō·nə·’ê צַדִּ֣יק of the righteous ṣad·dîq יֶאְשָֽׁמוּ׃ will be condemned . ye’·šā·mū Psalm 34:22 יְ֭הוָה YHWH Yah·weh פּוֹדֶ֣ה redeems pō·w·ḏeh
