בָּ֝טְח֗וּ they trusted bā·ṭə·ḥū וַֽתְּפַלְּטֵֽמוֹ׃ and You delivered them . wat·tə·p̄al·lə·ṭê·mōw Psalm 22:5 זָעֲק֣וּ They cried out zā·‘ă·qū אֵלֶ֣יךָ to You ’ê·le·ḵā וְנִמְלָ֑טוּ and were set free ; wə·nim·lā·ṭū בָטְח֣וּ they trusted ḇā·ṭə·ḥū בְּךָ֖ in You bə·ḵā וְלֹא־ and were not wə·lō- בֽוֹשׁוּ׃ disappointed . ḇō·wō·šū Psalm 22:6 וְאָנֹכִ֣י But I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî תוֹלַ֣עַת am a worm ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ וְלֹא־ and not wə·lō- אִ֑ישׁ a man , ’îš חֶרְפַּ֥ת scorned ḥer·paṯ אָ֝דָ֗ם by men ’ā·ḏām וּבְז֥וּי and despised ū·ḇə·zui עָֽם׃ by the people . ‘ām Psalm 22:7 כָּל־ All kāl- רֹ֭אַי who see me rō·’ay יַלְעִ֣גוּ mock yal·‘i·ḡū לִ֑י me ; lî יַפְטִ֥ירוּ they sneer yap̄·ṭî·rū בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה . . . ḇə·śā·p̄āh יָנִ֥יעוּ and shake yā·nî·‘ū רֹֽאשׁ׃ their heads : rōš Psalm 22:8 גֹּ֣ל “ He trusts gōl אֶל־ in ’el- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH , Yah·weh יְפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ let YHWH deliver him ; yə·p̄al·lə·ṭê·hū יַ֝צִּילֵ֗הוּ let YHWH rescue him , yaṣ·ṣî·lê·hū כִּ֘י since kî חָ֥פֵֽץ He delights ḥā·p̄êṣ בּֽוֹ׃ in him . ” bōw Psalm 22:9 כִּֽי־ Yet kî- אַתָּ֣ה You ’at·tāh גֹחִ֣י brought me forth ḡō·ḥî מִבָּ֑טֶן from the womb ; mib·bā·ṭen מַ֝בְטִיחִ֗י You made me secure maḇ·ṭî·ḥî עַל־ at ‘al- אִמִּֽי׃ my mother’s ’im·mî שְׁדֵ֥י breast . šə·ḏê Psalm 22:10 מֵרָ֑חֶם From birth mê·rā·ḥem הָשְׁלַ֣כְתִּי I was cast hā·šə·laḵ·tî עָ֭לֶיךָ upon You ; ‘ā·le·ḵā אִ֝מִּ֗י from my mother’s ’im·mî מִבֶּ֥טֶן womb mib·be·ṭen אָֽתָּה׃ You ’āt·tāh אֵ֣לִי have been my God . ’ê·lî Psalm 22:11 אַל־ Be not ’al- תִּרְחַ֣ק far tir·ḥaq מִ֭מֶּנִּי from me , mim·men·nî כִּי־ for kî- צָרָ֣ה trouble ṣā·rāh קְרוֹבָ֑ה is near qə·rō·w·ḇāh כִּי־ and kî- אֵ֥ין there is no ’ên עוֹזֵֽר׃ one to help . ‘ō·w·zêr Psalm 22:12 רַבִּ֑ים Many rab·bîm פָּרִ֣ים bulls pā·rîm סְ֭בָבוּנִי surround me ; sə·ḇā·ḇū·nî אַבִּירֵ֖י strong ’ab·bî·rê בָשָׁ֣ן [bulls] of Bashan ḇā·šān כִּתְּרֽוּנִי׃ encircle me . kit·tə·rū·nî Psalm 22:13 פָּצ֣וּ They open pā·ṣū פִּיהֶ֑ם their jaws pî·hem עָלַ֣י against me ‘ā·lay אַ֝רְיֵ֗ה like lions ’ar·yêh וְשֹׁאֵֽג׃ that roar wə·šō·’êḡ טֹרֵ֥ף and maul . ṭō·rêp̄ Psalm 22:14 נִשְׁפַּכְתִּי֮ I am poured out niš·paḵ·tî
