לֹ֣א who has not lō נִשְׂבָּֽע׃ had his fill ? ’— niś·bā‘ Job 31:32 לֹא־ [but] no lō- גֵּ֑ר stranger gêr יָלִ֣ין had to lodge yā·lîn בַּ֭חוּץ on the street , ba·ḥūṣ דְּ֝לָתַ֗י for my door də·lā·ṯay אֶפְתָּֽח׃ has been open ’ep̄·tāḥ לָאֹ֥רַח to the traveler — lā·’ō·raḥ Job 31:33 אִם־ if ’im- כִּסִּ֣יתִי I have covered kis·sî·ṯî פְּשָׁעָ֑י my transgressions pə·šā·‘āy כְאָדָ֣ם like Adam ḵə·’ā·ḏām לִטְמ֖וֹן by hiding liṭ·mō·wn עֲוֺֽנִי׃ my guilt ‘ă·wō·nî בְּחֻבִּ֣י in my heart , bə·ḥub·bî Job 31:34 כִּ֤י because kî רַבָּ֗ה I greatly rab·bāh אֶֽעֱר֨וֹץ׀ feared ’e·‘ĕ·rō·wṣ הָ֘מ֤וֹן the crowds hā·mō·wn וּבוּז־ and the contempt ū·ḇūz- מִשְׁפָּח֥וֹת of the clans miš·pā·ḥō·wṯ יְחִתֵּ֑נִי terrified me , yə·ḥit·tê·nî וָ֝אֶדֹּ֗ם so that I kept silent wā·’ed·dōm לֹא־ and would not lō- אֵ֥צֵא go outside ’ê·ṣê פָֽתַח׃ . . . — p̄ā·ṯaḥ Job 31:35 מִ֤י ( Oh, that mî יִתֶּן־ I had yit·ten- לִ֨י׀ lî שֹׁ֘מֵ֤עַֽ one to hear šō·mê·a‘ לִ֗י me ! lî הֶן־ Here is hen- תָּ֭וִי my signature . tā·wî שַׁדַּ֣י Let the Almighty šad·day יַעֲנֵ֑נִי answer me ; ya·‘ă·nê·nî אִ֣ישׁ let my accuser ’îš רִיבִֽי׃ . . . rî·ḇî כָּ֝תַ֗ב compose kā·ṯaḇ וְסֵ֥פֶר an indictment . wə·sê·p̄er Job 31:36 אִם־ Surely ’im- לֹ֣א . . . lō אֶשָּׂאֶ֑נּוּ I would carry it ’eś·śā·’en·nū עַל־ on ‘a·lō·ši- שִׁ֭כְמִי my shoulder ḵə·mî אֶֽעֶנְדֶ֖נּוּ and wear ’e·‘en·ḏen·nū עֲטָר֣וֹת it like a crown . ‘ă·ṭā·rō·wṯ לִֽי׃ lî Job 31:37 אַגִּידֶ֑נּוּ I would give ’ag·gî·ḏen·nū מִסְפַּ֣ר account mis·par צְ֭עָדַי of all my steps ; ṣə·‘ā·ḏay אֲקָרֲבֶֽנּוּ׃ I would approach Him ’ă·qā·ră·ḇen·nū כְּמוֹ־ like kə·mōw- נָ֝גִ֗יד a prince .) — nā·ḡîḏ Job 31:38 אִם־ if ’im- אַדְמָתִ֣י my land ’aḏ·mā·ṯî תִזְעָ֑ק cries out ṯiz·‘āq עָ֭לַי against me ‘ā·lay תְּלָמֶ֥יהָ and its furrows tə·lā·me·hā יִבְכָּיֽוּן׃ weep yiḇ·kā·yūn וְ֝יַ֗חַד together , wə·ya·ḥaḏ Job 31:39 אִם־ if ’im- אָכַ֣לְתִּי I have devoured ’ā·ḵal·tî כֹּ֭חָהּ its produce kō·ḥāh בְלִי־ without ḇə·lî- כָ֑סֶף payment ḵā·sep̄ וְנֶ֖פֶשׁ or broken the spirit wə·ne·p̄eš הִפָּֽחְתִּי׃ . . . hip·pā·ḥə·tî בְּעָלֶ֣יהָ of its tenants , bə·‘ā·le·hā Job 31:40 ח֗וֹחַ then let briers ḥō·w·aḥ יֵ֥צֵא grow yê·ṣê תַּ֤חַת instead of ta·ḥaṯ חִטָּ֨ה׀ wheat ḥiṭ·ṭāh
