Job 31:13 אִם־ If ’im- אֶמְאַ֗ס I have rejected ’em·’as מִשְׁפַּ֣ט the cause miš·paṭ עַ֭בְדִּי of my manservant ‘aḇ·dî וַאֲמָתִ֑י or maidservant wa·’ă·mā·ṯî בְּ֝רִבָ֗ם when they made a complaint bə·ri·ḇām עִמָּדִֽי׃ against me , ‘im·mā·ḏî Job 31:14 וּמָ֣ה what ū·māh אֶֽ֭עֱשֶׂה will I do ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כִּֽי־ when kî- אֵ֑ל God ’êl יָק֣וּם rises to judge ? yā·qūm מָ֣ה How māh אֲשִׁיבֶֽנּוּ׃ will I answer ’ă·šî·ḇen·nū וְכִֽי־ when wə·ḵî- יִ֝פְקֹ֗ד called to account ? yip̄·qōḏ Job 31:15 הֲ Did not hălō- עֹשֵׂ֣נִי He who made me ‘ō·śê·nî בַ֭בֶּטֶן in the womb ḇab·be·ṭen עָשָׂ֑הוּ also make them ? ‘ā·śā·hū אֶחָֽד׃ Did not the same One ’e·ḥāḏ וַ֝יְכֻנֶ֗נּוּ form us way·ḵu·nen·nū בָּרֶ֥חֶם in the womb ? bā·re·ḥem Job 31:16 אִם־ If ’im- אֶ֭מְנַע I have denied ’em·na‘ מֵחֵ֣פֶץ the desires mê·ḥê·p̄eṣ דַּלִּ֑ים of the poor dal·lîm אַלְמָנָ֣ה or allowed the widow’s ’al·mā·nāh וְעֵינֵ֖י eyes wə·‘ê·nê אֲכַלֶּֽה׃ to fail , ’ă·ḵal·leh Job 31:17 וְאֹכַ֣ל if I have eaten wə·’ō·ḵal פִּתִּ֣י my morsel pit·tî לְבַדִּ֑י alone , lə·ḇad·dî וְלֹא־ not wə·lō- אָכַ֖ל sharing ’ā·ḵal מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ it mim·men·nāh יָת֣וֹם with the fatherless — yā·ṯō·wm Job 31:18 כִּ֣י though kî מִ֭נְּעוּרַי from my youth min·nə·‘ū·ray גְּדֵלַ֣נִי I reared him gə·ḏê·la·nî כְאָ֑ב as would a father , ḵə·’āḇ אִמִּ֣י and from my mother’s ’im·mî וּמִבֶּ֖טֶן womb ū·mib·be·ṭen אַנְחֶֽנָּה׃ I guided [the widow] — ’an·ḥen·nāh Job 31:19 אִם־ if ’im- אֶרְאֶ֣ה I have seen ’er·’eh א֭וֹבֵד one perish ’ō·w·ḇêḏ מִבְּלִ֣י for lack mib·bə·lî לְב֑וּשׁ of clothing , lə·ḇūš לָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃ or a needy man lā·’eḇ·yō·wn וְאֵ֥ין without wə·’ên כְּ֝ס֗וּת a cloak , kə·sūṯ Job 31:20 אִם־ if ’im- חֲלָצוֹ his heart ḥă·lå̄·ṣō לֹ֣א has not lō בֵרֲכ֣וּנִי blessed me ḇê·ră·ḵū·nî יִתְחַמָּֽם׃ for warming him yiṯ·ḥam·mām וּמִגֵּ֥ז with the fleece ū·mig·gêz כְּ֝בָשַׂי of my sheep , kə·ḇā·śay Job 31:21 אִם־ if ’im- הֲנִיפ֣וֹתִי I have lifted hă·nî·p̄ō·w·ṯî יָדִ֑י up my hand yā·ḏî עַל־ against ‘al- יָת֣וֹם the fatherless yā·ṯō·wm כִּֽי־ because kî- אֶרְאֶ֥ה I saw ’er·’eh עֶזְרָתִֽי׃ that I had support ‘ez·rā·ṯî בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר in the gate , ḇaš·ša·‘ar Job 31:22 וְ֝אֶזְרֹעִ֗י then may my arm wə·’ez·rō·‘î תִפּ֑וֹל fall ṯip·pō·wl
