כְּ֭תֵפִי vvv kə·ṯê·p̄î מִשִּׁכְמָ֣ה from my shoulder miš·šiḵ·māh תִשָּׁבֵֽר׃ and be torn ṯiš·šā·ḇêr מִקָּנָ֥ה from its socket . miq·qā·nāh Job 31:23 כִּ֤י For kî אֵ֣יד calamity ’êḏ אֵ֑ל from God ’êl פַ֣חַד terrifies p̄a·ḥaḏ אֵ֭לַי me , ’ê·lay וּ֝מִשְּׂאֵת֗וֹ and His splendor ū·miś·śə·’ê·ṯōw לֹ֣א I cannot lō אוּכָֽל׃ overpower . ’ū·ḵāl Job 31:24 אִם־ If ’im- שַׂ֣מְתִּי I have put śam·tî כִּסְלִ֑י my trust kis·lî זָהָ֣ב in gold zā·hāḇ אָמַ֥רְתִּי or called ’ā·mar·tî וְ֝לַכֶּ֗תֶם pure gold wə·lak·ke·ṯem מִבְטַחִֽי׃ my security , miḇ·ṭa·ḥî Job 31:25 אִם־ if ’im- אֶ֭שְׂמַח I have rejoiced ’eś·maḥ כִּי־ in kî- רַ֣ב my great raḇ חֵילִ֑י wealth ḥê·lî וְכִֽי־ because wə·ḵî- יָדִֽי׃ my hand yā·ḏî מָצְאָ֥ה had gained mā·ṣə·’āh כַ֝בִּ֗יר so much , ḵab·bîr Job 31:26 אִם־ if ’im- אֶרְאֶ֣ה I have beheld ’er·’eh א֖וֹר the sun ’ō·wr כִּ֣י - kî יָהֵ֑ל in its radiance yā·hêl וְ֝יָרֵ֗חַ or the moon wə·yā·rê·aḥ הֹלֵֽךְ׃ moving hō·lêḵ יָקָ֥ר in splendor , yā·qār Job 31:27 לִבִּ֑י so that my heart lib·bî בַּסֵּ֣תֶר was secretly bas·sê·ṯer וַיִּ֣פְתְּ enticed way·yip̄t יָדִ֣י and my hand yā·ḏî וַתִּשַּׁ֖ק threw a kiss wat·tiš·šaq לְפִֽי׃ from my mouth , lə·p̄î Job 31:28 ה֭וּא this hū גַּם־ would also be gam- עָוֺ֣ן an iniquity ‘ā·wōn פְּלִילִ֑י to be judged , pə·lî·lî כִּֽי־ for kî- כִחַ֖שְׁתִּי I would have denied ḵi·ḥaš·tî לָאֵ֣ל God lā·’êl מִמָּֽעַל׃ on high . mim·mā·‘al Job 31:29 אִם־ If ’im- אֶ֭שְׂמַח I have rejoiced ’eś·maḥ מְשַׂנְאִ֑י in my enemy’s mə·śan·’î בְּפִ֣יד ruin , bə·p̄îḏ וְ֝הִתְעֹרַ֗רְתִּי or exulted wə·hiṯ·‘ō·rar·tî כִּֽי־ when kî- רָֽע׃ evil rā‘ מְצָ֥אוֹ befell him — mə·ṣā·’ōw Job 31:30 וְלֹא־ I have not wə·lō- נָתַ֣תִּי allowed nā·ṯat·tî חִכִּ֑י my mouth ḥik·kî לַחֲטֹ֣א to sin la·ḥă·ṭō לִשְׁאֹ֖ל by asking for liš·’ōl נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ his life nap̄·šōw בְּאָלָ֣ה with a curse — bə·’ā·lāh Job 31:31 אִם־ if ’im- מְתֵ֣י the men mə·ṯê אָהֳלִ֑י of my house ’ā·ho·lî לֹ֣א have not lō אָ֭מְרוּ said , ’ā·mə·rū מִֽי־ ‘ Who mî- יִתֵּ֥ן is there yit·tên מִ֝בְּשָׂר֗וֹ . . . mib·bə·śā·rōw
