Job 32:7 אָ֭מַרְתִּי I thought ’ā·mar·tî יָמִ֣ים that age yā·mîm יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ should speak , yə·ḏab·bê·rū וְרֹ֥ב and many wə·rōḇ שָׁ֝נִ֗ים years nîm יֹדִ֥יעוּ should teach yō·ḏî·‘ū חָכְמָֽה׃ wisdom . ḥāḵ·māh Job 32:8 אָ֭כֵן But ’ā·ḵên הִ֣יא [there is] hî רֽוּחַ־ a spirit rū·aḥ- בֶאֱנ֑וֹשׁ in a man , ḇe·’ĕ·nō·wōš וְנִשְׁמַ֖ת the breath wə·niš·maṯ שַׁדַּ֣י of the Almighty , šad·day תְּבִינֵֽם׃ that gives him understanding . tə·ḇî·nêm Job 32:9 לֹֽא־ It is not only lō- רַבִּ֥ים the old rab·bîm יֶחְכָּ֑מוּ who are wise , yeḥ·kā·mū וּ֝זְקֵנִ֗ים or the elderly ū·zə·qê·nîm יָבִ֥ינוּ who understand yā·ḇî·nū מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ justice . miš·pāṭ Job 32:10 לָכֵ֣ן Therefore lā·ḵên אָ֭מַרְתִּי I say , ’ā·mar·tî שִׁמְעָה־ ‘ Listen šim·‘āh- לִּ֑י to me ; lî אָֽנִי׃ I ’ā·nî אַף־ too ’ap̄- אֲחַוֶּ֖ה will declare ’ă·ḥaw·weh דֵּעִ֣י what I know . ’ dê·‘î Job 32:11 הֵ֤ן Indeed , hên הוֹחַ֨לְתִּי I waited hō·w·ḥal·tî לְֽדִבְרֵיכֶ֗ם while you spoke ; lə·ḏiḇ·rê·ḵem אָ֭זִין I listened ’ā·zîn עַד־ to ‘aḏ- תְּב֥וּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם your reasoning ; tə·ḇū·nō·ṯê·ḵem עַֽד־ as ‘aḏ- תַּחְקְר֥וּן you searched taḥ·qə·rūn מִלִּֽין׃ for words , mil·lîn Job 32:12 אֶתְבּ֫וֹנָ֥ן I paid you full attention ’eṯ·bō·w·nān וְהִנֵּ֤ה . . . wə·hin·nêh וְעָֽדֵיכֶ֗ם . . . . wə·‘ā·ḏê·ḵem אֵ֣ין But no one ’ên לְאִיּ֣וֹב proved Job lə·’î·yō·wḇ מוֹכִ֑יחַ wrong ; mō·w·ḵî·aḥ מִכֶּֽם׃ not one of mik·kem עוֹנֶ֖ה you rebutted ‘ō·w·neh אֲמָרָ֣יו his arguments . ’ă·mā·rāw Job 32:13 פֶּן־ So do not pen- תֹּ֣֭אמְרוּ claim , tō·mə·rū מָצָ֣אנוּ ‘ We have found mā·ṣā·nū חָכְמָ֑ה wisdom ; ḥāḵ·māh אֵ֖ל let God , ’êl לֹא־ not lō- אִֽישׁ׃ man , ’îš יִדְּפֶ֣נּוּ refute him . ’ yid·də·p̄en·nū Job 32:14 וְלֹא־ But Job has not wə·lō- עָרַ֣ךְ directed ‘ā·raḵ מִלִּ֑ין [his] words mil·lîn אֵלַ֣י against me , ’ê·lay לֹ֣א and I will not lō אֲשִׁיבֶֽנּוּ׃ answer him ’ă·šî·ḇen·nū וּ֝בְאִמְרֵיכֶ֗ם with your arguments . ū·ḇə·’im·rê·ḵem Job 32:15 חַ֭תּוּ [Job’s friends] are dismayed , ḥat·tū לֹא־ with no lō- ע֑וֹד more ‘ō·wḏ עָ֣נוּ to say ; ‘ā·nū מִלִּֽים׃ words mil·lîm הֶעְתִּ֖יקוּ have escaped he‘·tî·qū מֵהֶ֣ם them . mê·hem Job 32:16 וְ֭הוֹחַלְתִּי Must I wait , wə·hō·w·ḥal·tî כִּי־ now that kî-
