עִם־ . . . ‘i·mō·ša- שַׁ֝דַּ֗י the Almighty . day Job 27:12 הֵן־ Surely hên- כֻּלְּכֶ֣ם all of you kul·lə·ḵem חֲזִיתֶ֑ם have seen [it] ḥă·zî·ṯem אַתֶּ֣ם for yourselves . ’at·tem וְלָמָּה־ Why then wə·lām·māh- זֶּ֝֗ה do you keep up this zeh הֶ֣בֶל empty talk he·ḇel תֶּהְבָּֽלוּ׃ . . . ? teh·bā·lū Job 27:13 זֶ֤ה׀ This [is] zeh רָשָׁ֥ע׀ the wicked rā·šā‘ אָדָ֖ם man’s ’ā·ḏām חֵֽלֶק־ portion ḥê·leq- עִם־ from ‘im- אֵ֑ל God — ’êl וְֽנַחֲלַ֥ת the heritage wə·na·ḥă·laṯ עָ֝רִיצִ֗ים the ruthless ‘ā·rî·ṣîm יִקָּֽחוּ׃ receive yiq·qā·ḥū מִשַּׁדַּ֥י from the Almighty . miš·šad·day Job 27:14 אִם־ Though ’im- בָנָ֣יו his sons ḇā·nāw יִרְבּ֣וּ are many , yir·bū לְמוֹ־ they are destined for lə·mōw- חָ֑רֶב the sword ; ḥā·reḇ וְ֝צֶאֱצָאָ֗יו and his offspring wə·ṣe·’ĕ·ṣā·’āw לֹ֣א will never lō יִשְׂבְּעוּ־ have enough yiś·bə·‘ū- לָֽחֶם׃ food . lā·ḥem Job 27:15 שְׂרִידוֹ His survivors śə·rī·ḏō יִקָּבֵ֑רוּ will be buried yiq·qā·ḇê·rū בַּמָּ֣וֶת by the plague , bam·mā·weṯ וְ֝אַלְמְנֹתָ֗יו and their widows wə·’al·mə·nō·ṯāw לֹ֣א will not lō תִבְכֶּֽינָה׃ weep for them . ṯiḇ·ke·nāh Job 27:16 אִם־ Though ’im- יִצְבֹּ֣ר he heaps up yiṣ·bōr כָּ֑סֶף silver kā·sep̄ כֶּעָפָ֣ר like dust ke·‘ā·p̄ār יָכִ֥ין and piles up yā·ḵîn מַלְבּֽוּשׁ׃ a wardrobe mal·būš וְ֝כַחֹ֗מֶר like clay , wə·ḵa·ḥō·mer Job 27:17 יָ֭כִין what he lays up , yā·ḵîn וְצַדִּ֣יק the righteous wə·ṣad·dîq יִלְבָּ֑שׁ will wear , yil·bāš וְ֝כֶ֗סֶף and his silver wə·ḵe·sep̄ יַחֲלֹֽק׃ will be divided ya·ḥă·lōq נָקִ֥י by the innocent . nā·qî Job 27:18 בֵּית֑וֹ The house bê·ṯōw בָּנָ֣ה he built bā·nāh כָעָ֣שׁ is like a moth’s cocoon , ḵā·‘āš וּ֝כְסֻכָּ֗ה like a hut ū·ḵə·suk·kāh עָשָׂ֥ה set up ‘ā·śāh נֹצֵֽר׃ by a watchman . nō·ṣêr Job 27:19 יִ֭שְׁכַּב He lies down yiš·kaḇ עָשִׁ֣יר wealthy , ‘ā·šîr וְלֹ֣א but will do so no more wə·lō יֵאָסֵ֑ף . . . ; yê·’ā·sêp̄ פָּקַ֣ח when he opens pā·qaḥ עֵינָ֖יו his eyes , ‘ê·nāw וְאֵינֶֽנּוּ׃ all is gone . wə·’ê·nen·nū Job 27:20 בַּלָּה֑וֹת Terrors bal·lā·hō·wṯ תַּשִּׂיגֵ֣הוּ overtake him taś·śî·ḡê·hū כַ֭מַּיִם like a flood ; ḵam·ma·yim סוּפָֽה׃ a tempest sū·p̄āh גְּנָבַ֥תּוּ sweeps him away gə·nā·ḇat·tū לַ֝֗יְלָה in the night . lay·lāh Job 27:21 קָדִ֣ים The east wind qā·ḏîm יִשָּׂאֵ֣הוּ carries him away , yiś·śā·’ê·hū וְיֵלַ֑ךְ and he is gone ; wə·yê·laḵ
