שַׁדַּ֣י can the Almighty šad·day יִּפְעַ֖ל do yip̄·‘al לָֽמוֹ׃ to us ? ’ lā·mōw Job 22:18 וְה֤וּא But it was He wə·hū מִלֵּ֣א who filled mil·lê בָתֵּיהֶ֣ם their houses ḇāt·tê·hem ט֑וֹב with good things ; ṭō·wḇ רָ֣חֲקָה so I stay far rā·ḥă·qāh מֶֽנִּי׃ . . . men·nî וַעֲצַ֥ת from the counsel wa·‘ă·ṣaṯ רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים of the wicked . rə·šā·‘îm Job 22:19 צַדִּיקִ֣ים The righteous ṣad·dî·qîm יִרְא֣וּ see [it] yir·’ū וְיִשְׂמָ֑חוּ and are glad ; wə·yiś·mā·ḥū וְ֝נָקִ֗י the innocent wə·nā·qî יִלְעַג־ mock yil·‘aḡ- לָֽמוֹ׃ them : lā·mōw Job 22:20 אִם־ ‘ Surely ’im- לֹ֣א . . . lō קִימָ֑נוּ our foes qî·mā·nū נִכְחַ֣ד are destroyed , niḵ·ḥaḏ אֵֽשׁ׃ and fire ’êš אָ֣כְלָה has consumed ’ā·ḵə·lāh וְ֝יִתְרָ֗ם their excess . ’ wə·yiṯ·rām Job 22:21 הַסְכֶּן־ Reconcile has·ken- נָ֣א now nā וּשְׁלם and be at peace ū·šə·lm עִמּ֑וֹ with Him ; ‘im·mōw בָּ֝הֶ֗ם thereby bā·hem טוֹבָֽה׃ good ṭō·w·ḇāh תְּֽבוֹאַתְךָ֥ will come to you . tə·ḇō·w·’aṯ·ḵā Job 22:22 קַח־ Receive qaḥ- נָ֣א . . . nā תּוֹרָ֑ה instruction tō·w·rāh מִפִּ֣יו from His mouth , mip·pîw וְשִׂ֥ים and lay up wə·śîm אֲ֝מָרָ֗יו His words ’ă·mā·rāw בִּלְבָבֶֽךָ׃ in your heart . bil·ḇā·ḇe·ḵā Job 22:23 אִם־ If ’im- תָּשׁ֣וּב you return tā·šūḇ עַד־ to ‘a·ḏō·ša- שַׁ֭דַּי the Almighty , day תִּבָּנֶ֑ה you will be restored . tib·bā·neh תַּרְחִ֥יק If you remove tar·ḥîq עַ֝וְלָ֗ה injustice ‘aw·lāh מֵאָהֳלֶֽךָ׃ from your tents mê·’ā·ho·le·ḵā Job 22:24 וְשִׁית־ and consign wə·šîṯ- בָּ֑צֶר your gold bā·ṣer עַל־ to ‘al- עָפָ֥ר the dust ‘ā·p̄ār אוֹפִֽיר׃ and the gold of Ophir ’ō·w·p̄îr וּבְצ֖וּר to the stones ū·ḇə·ṣūr נְחָלִ֣ים of the ravines , nə·ḥā·lîm Job 22:25 שַׁדַּ֣י then the Almighty šad·day וְהָיָ֣ה will be wə·hā·yāh בְּצָרֶ֑יךָ your gold bə·ṣā·re·ḵā תּוֹעָפ֣וֹת and the finest tō·w·‘ā·p̄ō·wṯ וְכֶ֖סֶף silver wə·ḵe·sep̄ לָֽךְ׃ for you . lāḵ Job 22:26 כִּי־ Surely kî- אָ֭ז then ’āz תִּתְעַנָּ֑ג you will delight tiṯ·‘an·nāḡ עַל־ in ‘al- שַׁדַּ֣י the Almighty šad·day וְתִשָּׂ֖א and lift up wə·ṯiś·śā פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ your face pā·ne·ḵā אֶל־ to ’el- אֱל֣וֹהַּ God . ’ĕ·lō·w·ah Job 22:27 תַּעְתִּ֣יר You will pray ta‘·tîr אֵ֭לָיו to Him , ’ê·lāw
