אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבִיכֶ֖ם your father ’ă·ḇî·ḵem וּבָאתֶֽם׃ and come back . ū·ḇā·ṯem Genesis 45:20 אַל־ vvv ’al- וְעֵ֣ינְכֶ֔ם But pay no regard wə·‘ê·nə·ḵem תָּחֹ֖ס . . . tā·ḥōs עַל־ to ‘al- כְּלֵיכֶ֑ם your belongings , kə·lê·ḵem כִּי־ for kî- ט֛וּב the best ṭūḇ כָּל־ of all kāl- אֶ֥רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim הֽוּא׃ is hū לָכֶ֥ם yours . ’” lā·ḵem Genesis 45:21 בְּנֵ֣י So the sons bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־ did way·ya·‘ă·śū- כֵן֙ [as they were told] . ḵên יוֹסֵ֛ף Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ וַיִּתֵּ֨ן gave way·yit·tên לָהֶ֥ם them lā·hem עֲגָל֖וֹת wagons ‘ă·ḡā·lō·wṯ עַל־ as ‘al- פַרְעֹ֑ה Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh פִּ֣י had instructed , pî וַיִּתֵּ֥ן and he also gave way·yit·tên לָהֶ֛ם them lā·hem צֵדָ֖ה provisions ṣê·ḏāh לַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ for their journey . lad·dā·reḵ Genesis 45:22 לְכֻלָּ֥ם - lə·ḵul·lām נָתַ֛ן He gave nā·ṯan חֲלִפ֣וֹת new ḥă·li·p̄ō·wṯ שְׂמָלֹ֑ת garments śə·mā·lōṯ לָאִ֖ישׁ to each of them , lā·’îš וּלְבִנְיָמִ֤ן but to Benjamin ū·lə·ḇin·yā·min נָתַן֙ he gave nā·ṯan שְׁלֹ֣שׁ three šə·lōš מֵא֣וֹת hundred [shekels] mê·’ō·wṯ כֶּ֔סֶף of silver ke·sep̄ וְחָמֵ֖שׁ and five wə·ḥā·mêš חֲלִפֹ֥ת sets ḥă·li·p̄ōṯ שְׂמָלֹֽת׃ of clothes . śə·mā·lōṯ Genesis 45:23 שָׁלַ֤ח And he sent šā·laḥ וּלְאָבִ֞יו to his father ū·lə·’ā·ḇîw כְּזֹאת֙ the following : kə·zōṯ עֲשָׂרָ֣ה ten ‘ă·śā·rāh חֲמֹרִ֔ים donkeys ḥă·mō·rîm נֹשְׂאִ֖ים loaded nō·śə·’îm מִטּ֣וּב with the best miṭ·ṭūḇ מִצְרָ֑יִם of Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim וְעֶ֣שֶׂר and ten wə·‘e·śer אֲתֹנֹ֡ת female donkeys ’ă·ṯō·nōṯ נֹֽ֠שְׂאֹת loaded nō·śə·’ōṯ בָּ֣ר with grain bār וָלֶ֧חֶם and bread wā·le·ḥem וּמָז֛וֹן and provisions ū·mā·zō·wn לְאָבִ֖יו for his father’s lə·’ā·ḇîw לַדָּֽרֶךְ׃ journey . lad·dā·reḵ Genesis 45:24 אֶחָ֖יו Then Joseph sent his brothers ’e·ḥāw וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח on their way , way·šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ and as they were leaving , way·yê·lê·ḵū וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he said way·yō·mer אֲלֵהֶ֔ם to them , ’ă·lê·hem אַֽל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּרְגְּז֖וּ quarrel tir·gə·zū בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ on the way ! ” bad·dā·reḵ Genesis 45:25 וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּ So [the brothers] went up way·ya·‘ă·lū מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם out of Egypt mim·miṣ·rā·yim וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ and came way·yā·ḇō·’ū אֶֽל־ to ’el- אֲבִיהֶֽם׃ their father ’ă·ḇî·hem יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ אֶ֣רֶץ in the land ’e·reṣ כְּנַ֔עַן of Canaan . kə·na·‘an Genesis 45:26 יוֹסֵ֣ף “ Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ ע֚וֹד is still ‘ō·wḏ חַ֔י alive , ” ḥay
