Genesis 46:4 אָנֹכִ֗י I ’ā·nō·ḵî אֵרֵ֤ד will go down ’ê·rêḏ עִמְּךָ֙ with ‘im·mə·ḵā מִצְרַ֔יְמָה you to Egypt , miṣ·ray·māh וְאָנֹכִ֖י and I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî גַם־ will surely ḡam- עָלֹ֑ה . . . ‘ā·lōh אַֽעַלְךָ֣ bring you back . ’a·‘al·ḵā וְיוֹסֵ֕ף And Joseph’s wə·yō·w·sêp̄ יָד֖וֹ own hands yā·ḏōw יָשִׁ֥ית will close yā·šîṯ עַל־ . . . ‘al- עֵינֶֽיךָ׃ your eyes . ” ‘ê·ne·ḵā Genesis 46:5 יַעֲקֹ֖ב Then Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וַיָּ֥קָם departed way·yā·qām מִבְּאֵ֣ר from mib·bə·’êr שָׁ֑בַע Beersheba , šā·ḇa‘ בְנֵֽי־ and the sons ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׂא֨וּ took way·yiś·’ū אֲבִיהֶ֗ם their father ’ă·ḇî·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יַעֲקֹ֣ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ בָּעֲגָל֕וֹת in the wagons bā·‘ă·ḡā·lō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- פַּרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh שָׁלַ֥ח had sent šā·laḥ לָשֵׂ֥את to carry him , lā·śêṯ אֹתֽוֹ׃ - ’ō·ṯōw טַפָּם֙ along with their children ṭap·pām וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- נְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם and wives . nə·šê·hem Genesis 46:6 וַיִּקְח֣וּ They also took way·yiq·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִקְנֵיהֶ֗ם the livestock miq·nê·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- רְכוּשָׁם֙ and possessions rə·ḵū·šām אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer רָֽכְשׁוּ֙ they had acquired rā·ḵə·šū בְּאֶ֣רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ כְּנַ֔עַן of Canaan , kə·na·‘an יַעֲקֹ֖ב and Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl זַרְע֥וֹ his offspring zar·‘ōw וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ went way·yā·ḇō·’ū אִתּֽוֹ׃ - ’it·tōw מִצְרָ֑יְמָה to Egypt . miṣ·rā·yə·māh Genesis 46:7 הֵבִ֥יא [Jacob] took hê·ḇî אִתּ֖וֹ with him ’it·tōw מִצְרָֽיְמָה׃ס to Egypt miṣ·rā·yə·māh בָּנָ֞יו his sons bā·nāw וּבְנֵ֤י and grandsons ū·ḇə·nê בָנָיו֙ . . . , ḇā·nāw אִתּ֔וֹ - ’it·tōw בְּנֹתָ֛יו [and] his daughters bə·nō·ṯāw וּבְנ֥וֹת and granddaughters ū·ḇə·nō·wṯ בָּנָ֖יו . . . — bā·nāw וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl זַרְע֑וֹ his offspring . zar·‘ōw Genesis 46:8 וְאֵ֨לֶּה Now these wə·’êl·leh שְׁמ֧וֹת are the names šə·mō·wṯ בְּנֵֽי־ of the sons bə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יַעֲקֹ֣ב ( Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וּבָנָ֑יו and his descendants ) ū·ḇā·nāw הַבָּאִ֥ים who went hab·bā·’îm מִצְרַ֖יְמָה to Egypt : miṣ·ray·māh רְאוּבֵֽן׃ Reuben , rə·’ū·ḇên יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob’s ya·‘ă·qōḇ בְּכֹ֥ר firstborn . bə·ḵōr Genesis 46:9 וּבְנֵ֖י The sons ū·ḇə·nê רְאוּבֵ֑ן of Reuben : rə·’ū·ḇên חֲנ֥וֹךְ Hanoch , ḥă·nō·wḵ וּפַלּ֖וּא Pallu , ū·p̄al·lū וְחֶצְר֥וֹן Hezron , wə·ḥeṣ·rō·wn וְכַרְמִֽי׃ and Carmi . wə·ḵar·mî Genesis 46:10 וּבְנֵ֣י The sons ū·ḇə·nê שִׁמְע֗וֹן of Simeon : šim·‘ō·wn יְמוּאֵ֧ל Jemuel , yə·mū·’êl
