אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֖י my father ’ā·ḇî הֵֽנָּה׃ down here hên·nāh וּמִֽהַרְתֶּ֛ם quickly . ” ū·mi·har·tem Genesis 45:14 וַיִּפֹּ֛ל Then Joseph threw his arms around way·yip·pōl עַל־ . . . ‘al- צַוְּארֵ֥י . . . ṣaw·wə·rê אָחִ֖יו his brother ’ā·ḥîw בִנְיָמִֽן־ Benjamin ḇin·yā·min- וַיֵּ֑בְךְּ and wept , way·yê·ḇək וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן and Benjamin ū·ḇin·yā·min בָּכָ֖ה wept bā·ḵāh עַל־ as ‘al- צַוָּארָֽיו׃ they embraced . ṣaw·wā·rāw Genesis 45:15 וַיְנַשֵּׁ֥ק Joseph kissed way·naš·šêq לְכָל־ each lə·ḵāl אֶחָ֖יו of his brothers ’e·ḥāw וַיֵּ֣בְךְּ as he wept way·yê·ḇək עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם over them . ‘ă·lê·hem וְאַ֣חֲרֵי And afterward wə·’a·ḥă·rê כֵ֔ן . . . ḵên אֶחָ֖יו his brothers ’e·ḥāw דִּבְּר֥וּ talked dib·bə·rū אִתּֽוֹ׃ with him . ’it·tōw Genesis 45:16 וְהַקֹּ֣ל When the news wə·haq·qōl נִשְׁמַ֗ע reached niš·ma‘ פַּרְעֹה֙ Pharaoh’s par·‘ōh לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr בֵּ֤ית house bêṯ יוֹסֵ֑ף that Joseph’s yō·w·sêp̄ אֲחֵ֣י brothers ’ă·ḥê בָּ֖אוּ had come , bā·’ū פַרְעֹ֔ה Pharaoh p̄ar·‘ōh וּבְעֵינֵ֖י . . . ū·ḇə·‘ê·nê עֲבָדָֽיו׃ and his servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיִּיטַב֙ were pleased way·yî·ṭaḇ בְּעֵינֵ֣י . . . . bə·‘ê·nê Genesis 45:17 פַּרְעֹה֙ Pharaoh par·‘ōh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יוֹסֵ֔ף Joseph , yō·w·sêp̄ אֱמֹ֥ר “ Tell ’ĕ·mōr אֶל־ . . . ’el- אַחֶ֖יךָ your brothers , ’a·ḥe·ḵā עֲשׂ֑וּ ‘ Do ‘ă·śū זֹ֣את as follows : zōṯ טַֽעֲנוּ֙ Load ṭa·‘ă·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּעִ֣ירְכֶ֔ם your animals bə·‘î·rə·ḵem וּלְכוּ־ and return ū·lə·ḵū- בֹ֖אוּ . . . ḇō·’ū אַ֥רְצָה to the land ’ar·ṣāh כְּנָֽעַן׃ of Canaan . kə·nā·‘an Genesis 45:18 וּקְח֧וּ Then bring ū·qə·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבִיכֶ֛ם your father ’ă·ḇî·ḵem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בָּתֵּיכֶ֖ם and your families bāt·tê·ḵem וּבֹ֣אוּ and return ū·ḇō·’ū אֵלָ֑י to me . ’ê·lāy וְאֶתְּנָ֣ה I will give wə·’et·tə·nāh לָכֶ֗ם - lā·ḵem אֶת־ you ’eṯ- טוּב֙ the best ṭūḇ אֶ֣רֶץ of the land ’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim וְאִכְל֖וּ and you shall eat wə·’iḵ·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֵ֥לֶב from the fat ḥê·leḇ הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the land . ’ hā·’ā·reṣ Genesis 45:19 וְאַתָּ֥ה You wə·’at·tāh צֻוֵּ֖יתָה are also directed to tell them ṣuw·wê·ṯāh עֲשׂ֑וּ . . . ‘ă·śū זֹ֣את . . . : zōṯ קְחוּ־ ‘ Take qə·ḥū- לָכֶם֩ - lā·ḵem עֲגָל֗וֹת wagons ‘ă·ḡā·lō·wṯ מֵאֶ֨רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַ֜יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim לְטַפְּכֶם֙ for your young children lə·ṭap·pə·ḵem וְלִנְשֵׁיכֶ֔ם and your wives , wə·lin·šê·ḵem וּנְשָׂאתֶ֥ם and bring ū·nə·śā·ṯem
