בְּכָל־ In all bə·ḵāl זֹ֛את this , zōṯ אִיּ֖וֹב Job ’î·yō·wḇ לֹא־ did not lō- חָטָ֥א sin ḥā·ṭā בִּשְׂפָתָֽיו׃פ in what he said . biś·p̄ā·ṯāw Job 2:11 אִיּ֗וֹב Now when Job’s ’î·yō·wḇ אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת׀ three šə·lō·šeṯ רֵעֵ֣י friends — rê·‘ê אֱלִיפַ֤ז Eliphaz ’ĕ·lî·p̄az הַתֵּימָנִי֙ the Temanite , hat·tê·mā·nî וּבִלְדַּ֣ד Bildad ū·ḇil·daḏ הַשּׁוּחִ֔י the Shuhite , haš·šū·ḥî וְצוֹפַ֖ר and Zophar wə·ṣō·w·p̄ar הַנַּֽעֲמָתִ֑י the Naamathite — han·na·‘ă·mā·ṯî וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֞וּ heard way·yiš·mə·‘ū כָּל־ about all kāl- הַזֹּאת֮ this haz·zōṯ הָרָעָ֣ה adversity hā·rā·‘āh הַבָּ֣אָה that had come hab·bā·’āh עָלָיו֒ upon him , ‘ā·lāw אִ֣ישׁ each of them ’îš וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ came way·yā·ḇō·’ū מִמְּקֹמ֔וֹ from his home , mim·mə·qō·mōw וַיִּוָּעֲד֣וּ and they met way·yiw·wā·‘ă·ḏū יַחְדָּ֔ו together yaḥ·dāw לָב֥וֹא to go lā·ḇō·w לָנֽוּד־ and sympathize lā·nūḏ- ל֖וֹ with [Job] lōw וּֽלְנַחֲמֽוֹ׃ and comfort him . ū·lə·na·ḥă·mōw Job 2:12 וַיִּשְׂא֨וּ When they lifted up way·yiś·’ū אֶת־ ’eṯ- עֵינֵיהֶ֤ם their eyes ‘ê·nê·hem מֵרָחוֹק֙ from afar , mê·rā·ḥō·wq וְלֹ֣א they could barely wə·lō הִכִּירֻ֔הוּ recognize [Job] . hik·kî·ru·hū וַיִּבְכּ֑וּ They began to weep way·yiḇ·kū וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ aloud way·yiś·’ū קוֹלָ֖ם . . . , qō·w·lām אִ֣ישׁ and each man ’îš וַֽיִּקְרְעוּ֙ tore way·yiq·rə·‘ū מְעִל֔וֹ his robe mə·‘i·lōw וַיִּזְרְק֥וּ and threw way·yiz·rə·qū עָפָ֛ר dust ‘ā·p̄ār הַשָּׁמָֽיְמָה׃ in the air haš·šā·mā·yə·māh עַל־ over ‘al- רָאשֵׁיהֶ֖ם his head . rā·šê·hem Job 2:13 וַיֵּשְׁב֤וּ Then they sat way·yê·šə·ḇū לָאָ֔רֶץ on the ground lā·’ā·reṣ אִתּוֹ֙ with him ’it·tōw שִׁבְעַ֥ת for seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִ֖ים days yā·mîm וְשִׁבְעַ֣ת and seven wə·šiḇ·‘aṯ לֵיל֑וֹת nights , lê·lō·wṯ וְאֵין־ but no wə·’ên- דֹּבֵ֤ר one spoke dō·ḇêr דָּבָ֔ר a word dā·ḇār אֵלָיו֙ to him ’ê·lāw כִּ֣י because kî רָא֔וּ they saw rā·’ū כִּֽי־ - kî- מְאֹֽד׃ how intense mə·’ōḏ הַכְּאֵ֖ב his suffering hak·kə·’êḇ גָדַ֥ל was . ḡā·ḏal Job 3:1 אַחֲרֵי־ After ’a·ḥă·rê- כֵ֗ן this , ḵên אִיּוֹב֙ Job ’î·yō·wḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פָּתַ֤ח opened pā·ṯaḥ פִּ֔יהוּ his mouth pî·hū וַיְקַלֵּ֖ל and cursed way·qal·lêl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יוֹמֽוֹ׃פ the day of his [birth] . yō·w·mōw Job 3:2 וַיַּ֥עַן And [this is what] way·ya·‘an אִיּ֗וֹב [he] ’î·yō·wḇ וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ said : way·yō·mar Job 3:3 י֭וֹם “ May the day yō·wm אִוָּ֣לֶד of my birth ’iw·wā·leḏ בּ֑וֹ bōw יֹ֣אבַד perish , yō·ḇaḏ וְהַלַּ֥יְלָה and the night wə·hal·lay·lāh
