Yah·weh Job 2:2 אֵ֥י “ Where ’ê מִזֶּ֖ה . . . miz·zeh תָּבֹ֑א have you come from ?” tā·ḇō וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אֶל־ to ’el- הַשָּׂטָ֔ן Satan . haś·śā·ṭān מִשֻּׁ֣ט “ From roaming miš·šuṭ בָּאָ֔רֶץ through the earth , ” bā·’ā·reṣ הַשָּׂטָ֤ן [he] haś·śā·ṭān אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּ֨עַן replied way·ya·‘an יְהוָה֙ Yah·weh וַיֹּאמַ֔ר - , way·yō·mar וּמֵהִתְהַלֵּ֖ךְ “ and walking back and forth ū·mê·hiṯ·hal·lêḵ בָּֽהּ׃ in it .” bāh Job 2:3 יְהוָ֜ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- הַשָּׂטָ֗ן Satan , haś·śā·ṭān הֲשַׂ֣מְתָּ “ Have you considered hă·śam·tā לִבְּךָ֮ . . . lib·bə·ḵā אֶל־ . . . ’el- עַבְדִּ֣י My servant ‘aḇ·dî אִיּוֹב֒ Job ? ’î·yō·wḇ כִּי֩ For kî אֵ֨ין [there is] no one ’ên בָּאָ֗רֶץ on earth bā·’ā·reṣ כָּמֹ֜הוּ like him , kā·mō·hū אִ֣ישׁ a man [who is] ’îš תָּ֧ם blameless tām וְיָשָׁ֛ר and upright , wə·yā·šār יְרֵ֥א who fears yə·rê אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וְסָ֣ר and shuns wə·sār מֵרָ֑ע evil . mê·rā‘ וְעֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙ He still wə·‘ō·ḏen·nū מַחֲזִ֣יק retains ma·ḥă·zîq בְּתֻמָּת֔וֹ his integrity , bə·ṯum·mā·ṯōw וַתְּסִיתֵ֥נִי even though you incited Me wat·tə·sî·ṯê·nî ב֖וֹ against him ḇōw לְבַלְּע֥וֹ to ruin him lə·ḇal·lə·‘ōw חִנָּֽם׃ without cause .” ḥin·nām Job 2:4 ע֣וֹר “ Skin ‘ō·wr בְּעַד־ for bə·‘aḏ- ע֗וֹר skin ! ” ‘ō·wr יְהוָ֖ה - Yah·weh
