Esther 9:4 כִּֽי־ For kî- מָרְדֳּכַי֙ Mordecai mā·rə·do·ḵay גָ֤דוֹל exercised great ḡā·ḏō·wl בְּבֵ֣ית power in the palace bə·ḇêṯ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ . . . , ham·me·leḵ וְשָׁמְע֖וֹ and his fame wə·šā·mə·‘ōw הוֹלֵ֣ךְ spread hō·w·lêḵ בְּכָל־ throughout bə·ḵāl הַמְּדִינ֑וֹת the provinces ham·mə·ḏî·nō·wṯ כִּֽי־ as kî- הָאִ֥ישׁ . . . hā·’îš מָרְדֳּכַ֖י he mā·rə·do·ḵay הוֹלֵ֥ךְ became hō·w·lêḵ וְגָדֽוֹל׃פ more and more powerful . wə·ḡā·ḏō·wl Esther 9:5 הַיְּהוּדִים֙ The Jews hay·yə·hū·ḏîm וַיַּכּ֤וּ put way·yak·kū מַכַּת־ . . . mak·kaṯ- בְּכָל־ all bə·ḵāl אֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם their enemies ’ō·yə·ḇê·hem חֶ֥רֶב to the sword , ḥe·reḇ וְהֶ֖רֶג killing wə·he·reḡ וְאַבְדָ֑ן and destroying them , wə·’aḇ·ḏān וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ and they did way·ya·‘ă·śū כִּרְצוֹנָֽם׃ as they pleased kir·ṣō·w·nām בְשֹׂנְאֵיהֶ֖ם to those who hated them . ḇə·śō·nə·’ê·hem Esther 9:6 הַבִּירָ֗ה In the citadel hab·bî·rāh וּבְשׁוּשַׁ֣ן of Susa , ū·ḇə·šū·šan הַיְּהוּדִים֙ the Jews hay·yə·hū·ḏîm הָרְג֤וּ killed hā·rə·ḡū וְאַבֵּ֔ד and destroyed wə·’ab·bêḏ חֲמֵ֥שׁ five ḥă·mêš מֵא֖וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ אִֽישׁ׃ men , ’îš Esther 9:7 וְאֵ֧ת׀ - wə·’êṯ פַּרְשַׁנְדָּ֛תָא including Parshandatha , par·šan·dā·ṯā וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ דַּֽלְפ֖וֹן Dalphon , dal·p̄ō·wn וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ אַסְפָּֽתָא׃ Aspatha , ’as·pā·ṯā Esther 9:8 וְאֵ֧ת׀ - wə·’êṯ פּוֹרָ֛תָא Poratha , pō·w·rā·ṯā וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ אֲדַלְיָ֖א Adalia , ’ă·ḏal·yā וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ אֲרִידָֽתָא׃ Aridatha , ’ă·rî·ḏā·ṯā Esther 9:9 וְאֵ֤ת׀ - wə·’êṯ פַּרְמַ֙שְׁתָּא֙ Parmashta , par·maš·tā וְאֵ֣ת׀ - wə·’êṯ אֲרִיסַ֔י Arisai , ’ă·rî·say וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ אֲרִדַ֖י Aridai , ’ă·ri·ḏay וְאֵ֥ת׀ - wə·’êṯ וַיְזָֽתָא׃ and Vaizatha . way·zā·ṯā Esther 9:10 הָרָ֑גוּ They killed hā·rā·ḡū עֲ֠שֶׂרֶת these ten ‘ă·śe·reṯ בְּנֵ֨י sons bə·nê הָמָ֧ן of Haman hā·mān בֶּֽן־ son ben- הַמְּדָ֛תָא of Hammedatha , ham·mə·ḏā·ṯā צֹרֵ֥ר the enemy ṣō·rêr הַיְּהוּדִ֖ים of the Jews , hay·yə·hū·ḏîm לֹ֥א but they did not lō שָׁלְח֖וּ lay šā·lə·ḥū אֶת־ ’eṯ- יָדָֽם׃ a hand yā·ḏām וּבַ֨בִּזָּ֔ה on the plunder . ū·ḇab·biz·zāh Esther 9:11 הַה֗וּא On that ha·hū בָּ֣א . . . bā בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm מִסְפַּ֧ר the number mis·par הַֽהֲרוּגִ֛ים of those killed ha·hă·rū·ḡîm הַבִּירָ֖ה in the citadel hab·bî·rāh בְּשׁוּשַׁ֥ן of Susa bə·šū·šan לִפְנֵ֥י was reported to lip̄·nê הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ס the king , ham·me·leḵ Esther 9:12 הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ who ham·me·leḵ
