עָשָׂ֪ה had it built ‘ā·śāh לְֽמָרְדֳּכַ֞י for Mordecai , lə·mā·rə·do·ḵay אֲשֶׁ֧ר who ’ă·šer דִּבֶּר־ gave the report dib·ber- ט֣וֹב that saved ṭō·wḇ עַל־ . . . ‘al- הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ עֹמֵד֙ . . . . ” ‘ō·mêḏ תְּלֻ֥הוּ “ Hang him tə·lu·hū עָלָֽיו׃ on it ! ” ‘ā·lāw וַיֹּ֥אמֶר declared way·yō·mer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king . ham·me·leḵ Esther 7:10 וַיִּתְלוּ֙ So they hanged way·yiṯ·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָמָ֔ן Haman hā·mān עַל־ on ‘al- הָעֵ֖ץ the gallows hā·‘êṣ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הֵכִ֣ין he had prepared hê·ḵîn לְמָרְדֳּכָ֑י for Mordecai . lə·mā·rə·do·ḵāy וַחֲמַ֥ת Then the fury wa·ḥă·maṯ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ of the king ham·me·leḵ שָׁכָֽכָה׃פ subsided . šā·ḵā·ḵāh Esther 8:1 הַה֗וּא That same ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם day bay·yō·wm הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ אֲחַשְׁוֵרוֹשׁ֙ Xerxes ’ă·ḥaš·wê·rō·wōš נָתַ֞ן awarded nā·ṯan הַמַּלְכָּ֔ה Queen ham·mal·kāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְאֶסְתֵּ֣ר Esther lə·’es·têr בֵּ֥ית the estate bêṯ הָמָ֖ן of Haman , hā·mān צֹרֵ֣ר the enemy ṣō·rêr הַיְּהוּדִיִּים of the Jews . hay·yə·hū·ḏī·yīm וּמָרְדֳּכַ֗י And Mordecai ū·mā·rə·do·ḵay בָּ֚א entered bā הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king’s ham·me·leḵ לִפְנֵ֣י presence lip̄·nê כִּֽי־ because kî- אֶסְתֵּ֖ר Esther ’es·têr מַ֥ה . . . mah הִגִּ֥ידָה had revealed hig·gî·ḏāh הוּא־ his relation hū- לָֽהּ׃ to her . lāh Esther 8:2 הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ The king ham·me·leḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיָּ֨סַר removed way·yā·sar טַבַּעְתּ֗וֹ the signet ring ṭab·ba‘·tōw אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer הֶֽעֱבִיר֙ he had recovered he·‘ĕ·ḇîr מֵֽהָמָ֔ן from Haman mê·hā·mān וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ and presented it way·yit·tə·nāh לְמָרְדֳּכָ֑י to Mordecai . lə·mā·rə·do·ḵāy אֶסְתֵּ֛ר And Esther ’es·têr אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- וַתָּ֧שֶׂם appointed wat·tā·śem מָרְדֳּכַ֖י Mordecai mā·rə·do·ḵay עַל־ over ‘al- בֵּ֥ית the estate bêṯ הָמָֽן׃פ of Haman . hā·mān Esther 8:3 וַתּ֣וֹסֶף And once again , wat·tō·w·sep̄ אֶסְתֵּ֗ר Esther ’es·têr וַתְּדַבֵּר֙ addressed wat·tə·ḏab·bêr הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king . ham·me·leḵ וַתִּפֹּ֖ל She fell wat·tip·pōl לִפְנֵ֣י . . . lip̄·nê לִפְנֵ֣י at lip̄·nê רַגְלָ֑יו his feet raḡ·lāw וַתֵּ֣בְךְּ weeping wat·tê·ḇək וַתִּתְחַנֶּן־ and begged wat·tiṯ·ḥan·nen- ל֗וֹ him lōw לְהַֽעֲבִיר֙ to revoke lə·ha·‘ă·ḇîr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רָעַת֙ the evil rā·‘aṯ וְאֵת֙ - wə·’êṯ מַֽחֲשַׁבְתּ֔וֹ scheme ma·ḥă·šaḇ·tōw הָמָ֣ן of Haman hā·mān הָֽאֲגָגִ֔י the Agagite , hā·’ă·ḡā·ḡî אֲשֶׁ֥ר which ’ă·šer חָשַׁ֖ב he had devised ḥā·šaḇ עַל־ against ‘al- הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ the Jews . hay·yə·hū·ḏîm Esther 8:4 הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ The king ham·me·leḵ וַיּ֤וֹשֶׁט extended way·yō·wō·šeṭ
