וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ordered way·yō·mer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king . ham·me·leḵ Esther 6:6 הָמָן֒ Haman hā·mān וַיָּבוֹא֮ entered , way·yā·ḇō·w הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ and the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר asked way·yō·mer לוֹ֙ him , lōw מַה־ “ What mah- לַעֲשׂ֕וֹת should be done la·‘ă·śō·wṯ בָּאִ֕ישׁ for the man bā·’îš אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ חָפֵ֣ץ is delighted ḥā·p̄êṣ בִּיקָר֑וֹ to honor ? ” bî·qā·rōw הָמָן֙ Now Haman hā·mān וַיֹּ֤אמֶר thought way·yō·mer בְּלִבּ֔וֹ to himself , bə·lib·bōw לְמִ֞י “ Whom lə·mî הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ would the king ham·me·leḵ יַחְפֹּ֥ץ be delighted yaḥ·pōṣ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to honor la·‘ă·śō·wṯ יְקָ֖ר . . . yə·qār יוֹתֵ֥ר more yō·w·ṯêr מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ than me ? ” mim·men·nî Esther 6:7 הָמָ֖ן And Haman hā·mān אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַיֹּ֥אמֶר told way·yō·mer הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the king , ham·me·leḵ אִ֕ישׁ “ For the man ’îš אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ חָפֵ֥ץ is delighted ḥā·p̄êṣ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ to honor , bî·qā·rōw Esther 6:8 יָבִ֙יאוּ֙ have them bring yā·ḇî·’ū מַלְכ֔וּת a royal mal·ḵūṯ לְב֣וּשׁ robe lə·ḇūš אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the king himself ham·me·leḵ לָֽבַשׁ־ has worn lā·ḇaš- בּ֖וֹ bōw וְס֗וּס and a horse wə·sūs אֲשֶׁ֨ר on which ’ă·šer עָלָיו֙ ‘ā·lāw הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king himself ham·me·leḵ רָכַ֤ב has ridden — rā·ḵaḇ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר one with wa·’ă·šer מַלְכ֖וּת a royal mal·ḵūṯ כֶּ֥תֶר crest ke·ṯer נִתַּ֛ן placed nit·tan בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ on its head . bə·rō·šōw Esther 6:9 וְנָת֨וֹן Let wə·nā·ṯō·wn הַלְּב֜וּשׁ the robe hal·lə·ḇūš וְהַסּ֗וּס and the horse wə·has·sūs עַל־ be entrusted ‘al- יַד־ . . . yaḏ- אִ֞ישׁ to one ’îš הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ of the king’s ham·me·leḵ הַֽפַּרְתְּמִ֔ים most noble hap·par·tə·mîm מִשָּׂרֵ֤י princes . miś·śā·rê וְהִלְבִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ Let them array wə·hil·bî·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאִ֔ישׁ the man hā·’îš אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ חָפֵ֣ץ wants ḥā·p̄êṣ בִּֽיקָר֑וֹ to honor bî·qā·rōw וְהִרְכִּיבֻ֤הוּ and parade him wə·hir·kî·ḇu·hū עַל־ on ‘al- הַסּוּס֙ the horse has·sūs הָעִ֔יר through the city hā·‘îr בִּרְח֣וֹב square , bir·ḥō·wḇ וְקָרְא֣וּ proclaiming wə·qā·rə·’ū לְפָנָ֔יו before him , lə·p̄ā·nāw כָּ֚כָה ‘ This is what kā·ḵāh יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה is done yê·‘ā·śeh לָאִ֔ישׁ for the man lā·’îš אֲשֶׁ֥ר whom ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ חָפֵ֥ץ is delighted ḥā·p̄êṣ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ to honor ! ’” bî·qā·rōw Esther 6:10 מַ֠הֵר “ Hurry , ” ma·hêr וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ לְהָמָ֗ן to Haman , lə·hā·mān וַֽעֲשֵׂה־ “ and do wa·‘ă·śêh-
