הָעָ֖םthe peoplehā·‘ām
וְאֶת־-wə·’eṯ-
בֵּֽית־and the housebêṯ-
הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃סof God .hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl
וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֣יםincluding the priestswə·hak·kō·hă·nîm
וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם and Levites , wə·hal·wî·yim
לֹֽא־have notlō-
נִבְדְּל֞וּkept themselves separateniḇ·də·lū
הָאֲרָצ֑וֹתfrom the surroundinghā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ
מֵעַמֵּ֖יpeoplesmê·‘am·mê
כְּ֠תוֹעֲבֹֽתֵיהֶםwhose abominationskə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem
לַכְּנַעֲנִ֨י are like those of the Canaanites , lak·kə·na·‘ă·nî
הַחִתִּ֜י Hittites , ha·ḥit·tî
הַפְּרִזִּ֣י Perizzites , hap·pə·riz·zî
הַיְבוּסִ֗י Jebusites , hay·ḇū·sî
הָֽעַמֹּנִי֙ Ammonites , hā·‘am·mō·nî
הַמֹּ֣אָבִ֔י Moabites , ham·mō·’ā·ḇî
הַמִּצְרִ֖י Egyptians , ham·miṣ·rî
וְהָאֱמֹרִֽי׃and Amorites .wə·hā·’ĕ·mō·rî
Ezra 9:2כִּֽי־ Indeed , kî-
נָשְׂא֣וּthe Israelites have takennā·śə·’ū
מִבְּנֹֽתֵיהֶ֗םsome of their daughters [as wives]mib·bə·nō·ṯê·hem
לָהֶם֙for themselveslā·hem
וְלִבְנֵיהֶ֔ם and their sons , wə·liḇ·nê·hem
הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁso that the holyhaq·qō·ḏeš
זֶ֣רַעseedze·ra‘
וְהִתְעָֽרְבוּ֙has been mixedwə·hiṯ·‘ā·rə·ḇū
בְּעַמֵּ֖יwith the peoplebə·‘am·mê
הָאֲרָצ֑וֹתof the land .hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ
הַשָּׂרִ֣יםAnd the leadershaś·śā·rîm
וְהַסְּגָנִ֗יםand officialswə·has·sə·ḡā·nîm
וְיַ֧דhave taken the leadwə·yaḏ
הָֽיְתָ֛ה. . .hā·yə·ṯāh
רִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ס. . .ri·šō·w·nāh
הַזֶּ֖הin thishaz·zeh
בַּמַּ֥עַלunfaithfulness ! ”bam·ma·‘al

וָאֶמְרְטָ֞הpulled outwā·’em·rə·ṭāh
מִשְּׂעַ֤רsome hairmiś·śə·‘ar
רֹאשִׁי֙from my headrō·šî
וּזְקָנִ֔י and beard , ū·zə·qā·nî
וָאֵשְׁבָ֖הand sat downwā·’ê·šə·ḇāh
מְשׁוֹמֵֽם׃in horror .mə·šō·w·mêm

עַ֖דuntil‘aḏ
הָעָֽרֶב׃the eveninghā·‘ā·reḇ
לְמִנְחַ֥תoffering .lə·min·ḥaṯ

וּבְמִנְחַ֣ת offering , ū·ḇə·min·ḥaṯ
קַ֚מְתִּיI got upqam·tî
