הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ that the king , ham·me·leḵ וְיֹעֲצָ֣יו his counselors , wə·yō·‘ă·ṣāw וְשָׂרָ֔יו his leaders , wə·śā·rāw וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl הַנִּמְצָאִֽים׃ there han·nim·ṣā·’îm הַהֵרִ֙ימוּ֙ had offered ha·hê·rî·mū בֵּית־ for the house bêṯ- אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ of our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Ezra 8:26 וָאֶשְׁקֲלָ֨ה I weighed out wā·’eš·qă·lāh עַל־ into ‘al- יָדָ֜ם their hands yā·ḏām שֵֽׁשׁ־ 650 šêš- מֵא֣וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וַחֲמִשִּׁ֔ים . . . wa·ḥă·miš·šîm כִּכָּרִים֙ talents kik·kā·rîm כֶּ֗סֶף of silver , ke·sep̄ וּכְלֵי־ articles ū·ḵə·lê- כֶ֥סֶף of silver ḵe·sep̄ מֵאָ֖ה [weighing] 100 mê·’āh לְכִכָּרִ֑ים talents , lə·ḵik·kā·rîm מֵאָ֥ה 100 mê·’āh כִכָּֽר׃ talents ḵik·kār זָהָ֖ב of gold , zā·hāḇ Ezra 8:27 עֶשְׂרִ֔ים 20 ‘eś·rîm זָהָב֙ gold zā·hāḇ וּכְפֹרֵ֤י bowls ū·ḵə·p̄ō·rê אָ֑לֶף [valued at] 1,000 ’ā·lep̄ לַאֲדַרְכֹנִ֖ים darics , la·’ă·ḏar·ḵō·nîm שְׁנַ֔יִם and two šə·na·yim וּכְלֵ֨י articles ū·ḵə·lê טוֹבָה֙ of fine ṭō·w·ḇāh מֻצְהָ֤ב polished muṣ·hāḇ נְחֹ֜שֶׁת bronze , nə·ḥō·šeṯ חֲמוּדֹ֖ת as precious as ḥă·mū·ḏōṯ כַּזָּהָֽב׃ gold . kaz·zā·hāḇ Ezra 8:28 וָאֹמְרָ֣ה Then I told wā·’ō·mə·rāh אֲלֵהֶ֗ם them , ’ă·lê·hem אַתֶּ֥ם “ You ’at·tem קֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ are holy qō·ḏeš לַיהוָ֔ה to YHWH , Yah·weh וְהַכֵּלִ֖ים and these articles [are] wə·hak·kê·lîm קֹ֑דֶשׁ holy . qō·ḏeš וְהַכֶּ֤סֶף The silver wə·hak·ke·sep̄ וְהַזָּהָב֙ and gold wə·haz·zā·hāḇ נְדָבָ֔ה are a freewill offering nə·ḏā·ḇāh לַיהוָ֖ה to YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ of your fathers . ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem Ezra 8:29 שִׁקְד֣וּ Guard them šiq·ḏū וְשִׁמְר֗וּ carefully wə·šim·rū עַֽד־ until ‘aḏ- תִּשְׁקְל֡וּ you weigh them out tiš·qə·lū הַלִּשְׁכ֖וֹת in the chambers hal·liš·ḵō·wṯ בֵּ֥ית of the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim לִפְנֵי֩ before lip̄·nê שָׂרֵ֨י the leading śā·rê הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֛ם Levites , wə·hal·wî·yim וְשָׂרֵֽי־ and heads wə·śā·rê- לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of the Israelite lə·yiś·rā·’êl הָאָב֥וֹת families . ” hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ Ezra 8:30 הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים So the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם and Levites wə·hal·wî·yim וְקִבְּלוּ֙ took charge of wə·qib·bə·lū הַכֶּ֥סֶף the silver hak·ke·sep̄ וְהַזָּהָ֖ב and gold wə·haz·zā·hāḇ וְהַכֵּלִ֑ים and sacred articles wə·hak·kê·lîm מִשְׁקַ֛ל that had been weighed out miš·qal לְהָבִ֥יא to be taken lə·hā·ḇî לְבֵ֥ית to the house lə·ḇêṯ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃פ of our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū לִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם in Jerusalem . lî·rū·šā·lim Ezra 8:31 בִּשְׁנֵ֤ים On the twelfth biš·nêm עָשָׂר֙ . . . ‘ā·śār הָרִאשׁ֔וֹן day of the first hā·ri·šō·wn לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month la·ḥō·ḏeš וַֽנִּסְעָ֞ה we set out wan·nis·‘āh אַֽהֲוָ֗א from the Ahava ’a·hă·wā מִנְּהַ֣ר Canal min·nə·har
