Ezra 6:12 וֵֽאלָהָ֞א May God , wê·lā·hā דִּ֣י who dî שְׁמֵ֣הּ has caused His Name šə·mêh שַׁכִּ֧ן to dwell šak·kin תַּמָּ֗ה there , tam·māh יְמַגַּ֞ר overthrow yə·mag·gar כָּל־ any kāl- מֶ֤לֶךְ king me·leḵ וְעַם֙ or people wə·‘am דִּ֣י׀ who dî יִשְׁלַ֣ח lifts yiš·laḥ יְדֵ֗הּ a hand yə·ḏêh לְהַשְׁנָיָ֛ה to alter [this decree] lə·haš·nā·yāh לְחַבָּלָ֛ה or to destroy lə·ḥab·bā·lāh דֵ֖ךְ this ḏêḵ בֵּית־ house bêṯ- אֱלָהָ֥א of God ’ĕ·lā·hā דִּ֣י . . . dî בִירוּשְׁלֶ֑ם in Jerusalem . ḇî·rū·šə·lem אֲנָ֤ה I , ’ă·nāh דָרְיָ֙וֶשׁ֙ Darius , ḏā·rə·yā·weš שָׂ֣מֶת have issued śā·meṯ טְעֵ֔ם the decree . ṭə·‘êm יִתְעֲבִֽד׃פ Let it be carried out yiṯ·‘ă·ḇiḏ אָסְפַּ֖רְנָא with diligence . ’ā·sə·par·nā Ezra 6:13 אֱ֠דַיִן In response , ’ĕ·ḏa·yin תַּתְּנַ֞י Tattenai tat·tə·nay פַּחַ֧ת the governor pa·ḥaṯ עֲבַֽר־ of the region west ‘ă·ḇar- נַהֲרָ֛ה of the Euphrates , na·hă·rāh שְׁתַ֥ר vvv šə·ṯar בּוֹזְנַ֖י Shethar-bozenai , bō·wz·nay וּכְנָוָתְה֑וֹן and their associates ū·ḵə·nā·wā·ṯə·hō·wn לָקֳבֵ֗ל . . . lā·qo·ḇêl אָסְפַּ֥רְנָא diligently ’ā·sə·par·nā עֲבַֽדוּ׃ carried out ‘ă·ḇa·ḏū דִּֽי־ what dî- מַלְכָּ֛א King mal·kā כְּנֵ֖מָא . . . kə·nê·mā דָּרְיָ֧וֶשׁ Darius dā·rə·yā·weš שְׁלַ֞ח had decreed . šə·laḥ Ezra 6:14 יְהוּדָיֵא֙ So the Jewish yə·hū·ḏā·yê וְשָׂבֵ֤י elders wə·śā·ḇê בָּנַ֣יִן built bā·na·yin וּמַצְלְחִ֔ין and prospered ū·maṣ·lə·ḥîn בִּנְבוּאַת֙ through the prophesying bin·ḇū·’aṯ חַגַּ֣י of Haggai ḥag·gay נְבִיאָה the prophet nə·ḇī·ʾå̄h וּזְכַרְיָ֖ה and Zechariah ū·zə·ḵar·yāh בַּר־ son bar- עִדּ֑וֹא of Iddo . ‘id·dō·w וְשַׁכְלִ֗לוּ They finished wə·šaḵ·li·lū וּבְנ֣וֹ building ū·ḇə·nōw מִן־ according to min- טַ֙עַם֙ the command ṭa·‘am אֱלָ֣הּ of the God ’ĕ·lāh יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּמִטְּעֵם֙ and the decrees ū·miṭ·ṭə·‘êm כּ֣וֹרֶשׁ of Cyrus , kō·w·reš וְדָרְיָ֔וֶשׁ Darius , wə·ḏā·rə·yā·weš וְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֖שְׂתְּא and Artaxerxes , wə·’ar·taḥ·šaśt מֶ֥לֶךְ kings me·leḵ פָּרָֽס׃ of Persia . pā·rās Ezra 6:15 דְנָ֔ה And this ḏə·nāh בַּיְתָ֣ה temple bay·ṯāh וְשֵׁיצִיא֙ was completed wə·šê·ṣî עַ֛ד on ‘aḏ תְּלָתָ֖ה the third tə·lā·ṯāh י֥וֹם day yō·wm לִירַ֣ח of the month lî·raḥ אֲדָ֑ר of Adar , ’ă·ḏār דִּי־ . . . dî- הִ֣יא . . . hî שֵׁ֔ת in the sixth šêṯ שְׁנַת־ year šə·naṯ- לְמַלְכ֖וּת of the reign lə·mal·ḵūṯ מַלְכָּֽא׃פ of King mal·kā דָּרְיָ֥וֶשׁ Darius . dā·rə·yā·weš Ezra 6:16 בְנֵֽי־ Then the people ḇə·nê- יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל of Israel — yiś·rā·’êl כָּהֲנַיָּ֨א the priests , kā·hă·nay·yā וְלֵוָיֵ֜א the Levites , wə·lê·wā·yê וּשְׁאָ֣ר and the rest ū·šə·’ār בְּנֵי־ of the exiles bə·nê- גָלוּתָ֗א . . . — ḡā·lū·ṯā וַעֲבַ֣דוּ celebrated wa·‘ă·ḇa·ḏū חֲנֻכַּ֛ת the dedication ḥă·nuk·kaṯ
