Ezra 6:8 וּמִנִּי֮ I hereby ū·min·nî שִׂ֣ים vvv śîm טְעֵם֒ decree ṭə·‘êm לְמָ֣א what lə·mā דִֽי־ . . . ḏî- תַֽעַבְד֗וּן you must do ṯa·‘aḇ·ḏūn עִם־ for ‘im- אִלֵּ֔ךְ these ’il·lêḵ שָׂבֵ֤י elders śā·ḇê יְהוּדָיֵא֙ of the Jews yə·hū·ḏā·yê לְמִבְנֵ֖א who are rebuilding lə·miḇ·nê דֵ֑ךְ this ḏêḵ בֵּית־ house bêṯ- אֱלָהָ֣א of God : ’ĕ·lā·hā נִפְקְתָ֛א The cost nip̄·qə·ṯā תֶּהֱוֵ֧א is to be te·hĕ·wê מִֽתְיַהֲבָ֛א paid miṯ·ya·hă·ḇā אָסְפַּ֗רְנָא in full ’ā·sə·par·nā אִלֵּ֖ךְ to these ’il·lêḵ לְגֻבְרַיָּ֥א men lə·ḡuḇ·ray·yā מַלְכָּ֗א from the royal mal·kā וּמִנִּכְסֵ֣י treasury ū·min·niḵ·sê דִּ֚י out of dî מִדַּת֙ the taxes mid·daṯ עֲבַ֣ר of [the provinces] west ‘ă·ḇar נַהֲרָ֔ה of the Euphrates , na·hă·rāh דִּי־ so that dî- לָ֥א the work will not lā לְבַטָּלָֽא׃ be hindered . lə·ḇaṭ·ṭā·lā Ezra 6:9 וּמָ֣ה Whatever ū·māh חַשְׁחָ֡ן is needed — ḥaš·ḥān וּבְנֵ֣י young ū·ḇə·nê תוֹרִ֣ין bulls , ṯō·w·rîn וְדִכְרִ֣ין rams , wə·ḏiḵ·rîn וְאִמְּרִ֣ין׀ and lambs wə·’im·mə·rîn לַעֲלָוָ֣ן׀ for burnt offerings la·‘ă·lā·wān לֶאֱלָ֪הּ to the God le·’ĕ·lāh שְׁמַיָּ֟א of heaven , šə·may·yā חִנְטִ֞ין as well as wheat , ḥin·ṭîn מְלַ֣ח׀ salt , mə·laḥ חֲמַ֣ר wine , ḥă·mar וּמְשַׁ֗ח and oil , ū·mə·šaḥ כְּמֵאמַ֨ר as requested kə·mê·mar כָּהֲנַיָּ֤א by the priests kā·hă·nay·yā דִי־ . . . ḏî- בִירֽוּשְׁלֶם֙ in Jerusalem — ḇî·rū·šə·lem לֶהֱוֵ֨א must be le·hĕ·wê מִתְיְהֵ֥ב given miṯ·yə·hêḇ לְהֹ֛ם to them lə·hōm י֥וֹם׀ daily yō·wm בְּי֖וֹם . . . bə·yō·wm דִּי־ vvv dî- לָ֥א without lā שָׁלֽוּ׃ fail . šā·lū Ezra 6:10 דִּֽי־ Then dî- לֶהֱוֺ֧ן they will be able le·hĕ·wōn מְהַקְרְבִ֛ין to offer sacrifices mə·haq·rə·ḇîn נִיחוֹחִ֖ין of a sweet aroma nî·ḥō·w·ḥîn לֶאֱלָ֣הּ to the God le·’ĕ·lāh שְׁמַיָּ֑א of heaven šə·may·yā וּמְצַלַּ֕יִן and to pray ū·mə·ṣal·la·yin לְחַיֵּ֥י for the lives lə·ḥay·yê מַלְכָּ֖א of the king mal·kā וּבְנֽוֹהִי׃ and his sons . ū·ḇə·nō·w·hî Ezra 6:11 וּמִנִּי֮ I also ū·min·nî שִׂ֣ים decree śîm טְעֵם֒ . . . ṭə·‘êm דִּ֣י that dî כָל־ if any ḵāl אֱנָ֗שׁ man ’ĕ·nāš דִּ֤י - dî יְהַשְׁנֵא֙ interferes yə·haš·nê דְנָ֔ה with this ḏə·nāh פִּתְגָמָ֣א directive , piṯ·ḡā·mā אָע֙ a beam ’ā‘ יִתְנְסַ֥ח is to be torn yiṯ·nə·saḥ מִן־ from min- בַּיְתֵ֔הּ his house bay·ṯêh וּזְקִ֖יף and raised up , ū·zə·qîp̄ יִתְמְחֵ֣א and he is to be impaled yiṯ·mə·ḥê עֲלֹ֑הִי on it . ‘ă·lō·hî וּבַיְתֵ֛הּ And his own house ū·ḇay·ṯêh יִתְעֲבֵ֖ד shall be made yiṯ·‘ă·ḇêḏ נְוָל֥וּ a pile of rubble nə·wā·lū עַל־ for ‘al- דְּנָֽה׃ this [offense] . də·nāh
