טְעֵם֒ a decree [concerning] ṭə·‘êm בֵּית־ the house bêṯ- אֱלָהָ֤א of God ’ĕ·lā·hā בִֽירוּשְׁלֶם֙ in Jerusalem : ḇî·rū·šə·lem בַּיְתָ֣א Let the house bay·ṯā יִתְבְּנֵ֔א be rebuilt yiṯ·bə·nê אֲתַר֙ as a place ’ă·ṯar דִּֽי־ for dî- דָבְחִ֣ין offering ḏā·ḇə·ḥîn דִּבְחִ֔ין sacrifices , diḇ·ḥîn וְאֻשּׁ֖וֹהִי and let its foundations wə·’uš·šō·w·hî מְסֽוֹבְלִ֑ין be firmly laid . mə·sō·wḇ·lîn שִׁתִּ֔ין It is to be sixty šit·tîn אַמִּ֣ין cubits ’am·mîn רוּמֵהּ֙ high rū·mêh שִׁתִּֽין׃ [and] sixty šit·tîn אַמִּ֥ין cubits ’am·mîn פְּתָיֵ֖הּ wide , pə·ṯā·yêh Ezra 6:4 תְּלָתָ֔א with three tə·lā·ṯā וְנִדְבָּ֖ךְ . . . wə·niḏ·bāḵ נִדְבָּכִ֞ין layers niḏ·bā·ḵîn דִּי־ of dî- אֶ֤בֶן cut stones ’e·ḇen גְּלָל֙ . . . gə·lāl חֲדַ֑ת and one ḥă·ḏaṯ דִּי־ of dî- אָ֣ע timbers . ’ā‘ וְנִ֨פְקְתָ֔א The costs wə·nip̄·qə·ṯā תִּתְיְהִֽב׃ are to be paid tiṯ·yə·hiḇ מִן־ from min- מַלְכָּ֖א the royal mal·kā בֵּ֥ית treasury . bêṯ Ezra 6:5 וְ֠אַף Furthermore , wə·’ap̄ דַהֲבָ֣ה the gold ḏa·hă·ḇāh וְכַסְפָּא֒ and silver wə·ḵas·pā דִּ֣י . . . dî מָאנֵ֣י articles mā·nê בֵית־ of the house ḇêṯ- אֱלָהָא֮ of God , ’ĕ·lā·hā דִּ֣י which dî נְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּ֗ר Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar הַנְפֵּ֛ק took han·pêq מִן־ from min- הֵיכְלָ֥א the temple hê·ḵə·lā דִי־ . . . ḏî- בִירוּשְׁלֶ֖ם in Jerusalem ḇî·rū·šə·lem וְהֵיבֵ֣ל and carried wə·hê·ḇêl לְבָבֶ֑ל to Babylon , lə·ḇā·ḇel יַהֲתִיב֗וּן must also be returned ya·hă·ṯî·ḇūn וִ֠יהָךְ - wî·hāḵ לְהֵיכְלָ֤א to the temple lə·hê·ḵə·lā דִי־ . . . ḏî- בִירֽוּשְׁלֶם֙ in Jerusalem ḇî·rū·šə·lem לְאַתְרֵ֔הּ . . . lə·’aṯ·rêh וְתַחֵ֖ת and deposited wə·ṯa·ḥêṯ בְּבֵ֥ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ אֱלָהָֽא׃ס of God . ’ĕ·lā·hā Ezra 6:6 כְּעַ֡ן Therefore [Darius decreed] : kə·‘an תַּ֠תְּנַי To Tattenai tat·tə·nay פַּחַ֨ת governor pa·ḥaṯ עֲבַֽר־ of the region west ‘ă·ḇar- נַהֲרָ֜ה of the Euphrates , na·hă·rāh שְׁתַ֤ר vvv šə·ṯar בּוֹזְנַי֙ Shethar-bozenai , bō·wz·nay וּכְנָוָ֣תְה֔וֹן and your associates ū·ḵə·nā·wā·ṯə·hō·wn אֲפַרְסְכָיֵ֔א and officials ’ă·p̄ar·sə·ḵā·yê דִּ֖י . . . dî בַּעֲבַ֣ר in the region ba·‘ă·ḇar נַהֲרָ֑ה . . . : na·hă·rāh הֲו֖וֹ You must stay hă·wōw רַחִיקִ֥ין away ra·ḥî·qîn מִן־ from min- תַּמָּֽה׃ that place ! tam·māh Ezra 6:7 לַעֲבִידַ֖ת {Leave} this work la·‘ă·ḇî·ḏaṯ דֵ֑ךְ . . . ḏêḵ בֵּית־ on the house bêṯ- אֱלָהָ֣א of God ’ĕ·lā·hā שְׁבֻ֕קוּ alone . šə·ḇu·qū פַּחַ֤ת Let the governor pa·ḥaṯ וּלְשָׂבֵ֣י and elders ū·lə·śā·ḇê יְהוּדָיֵ֔א . . . yə·hū·ḏā·yê יְהוּדָיֵא֙ of the Jews yə·hū·ḏā·yê יִבְנ֥וֹן rebuild yiḇ·nō·wn דֵ֖ךְ this ḏêḵ בֵּית־ house bêṯ- אֱלָהָ֥א of God ’ĕ·lā·hā עַל־ on ‘al- אַתְרֵֽהּ׃ its original site . ’aṯ·rêh
